Story
We have had Fenrir since he was a puppy. He doesn’t seem to have a strong prey drive, but since our property isn’t fenced securely he hasn’t been in with livestock. He does do a great job keeping predators away just by patrolling the perimeter fencing he has access to and barking. He is very very sweet and loving. Gets along well with our other dogs. He does pull on a leash and doesn’t like going in a car. We would love for him and Freya to be adopted together they’re pretty bonded. He hasn’t lived inside, but may acclimate with time and training. He has been an outside farm dog.

Story
If joy had ears, they’d look a lot like Brooklyn Cherry. This happy girl brings the kind of upbeat, feel-good energy that makes everyone around her smile without even trying. She’s always in a good mood, always ready for fun, and those expressive ears just add to her already irresistible charm. Beyond her adorable looks, Brooklyn Cherry is incredibly smart, dog friendly, loves her toys, and strikes that perfect balance between playful adventure buddy and snuggly companion. Watch her video and fall in love with her amazing personality: https://youtu.be/U_TBkOb-19M?si=Nl3KaCKo5UAzVATy Brooklyn Cherry is believed to be a Shepherd mix approximately 1-2 years old and currently weighs 54 lbs. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Just based off looks, there are sprinkles of so many amazing breeds that it's hard for us to narrow it down without doing a DNA test (which we would love to see if her future adopters do one). We can see Rhodesian Ridgeback with her coloring and frame, along with German Shepherd with those ears, and with legs like that, she may even have Great Dane sprinkled in there too. We may never know, but regardless of what her DNA says, she is the perfect blend in our eyes. Brooklyn is dog friendly and gets along well with other dogs who enjoy and can match her play style. She’s the “roughhousing in the yard” kind of girl -playful and physical, and so much fun to watch. When dogs are confident and enjoy that same type of play, she thrives. Brooklyn has made some wonderful dog friends who she plays beautifully with. You can see her big goofy grin and those paws in the air and know she is having a blast! Brooklyn would do best in a home with a moderately playful dog that likes to play and one that also likes to hangout and relax. If you don't have other dogs, that's okay too! She would be great as a solo dog as she does not need the constant play to keep her entertained or the companionship to help her open up and be comfortable. Brooklyn is a happy social butterfly all on her own and she would love to be the center of your world. Her basics are already solid too! Brooklyn is fully potty and crate trained, and a quick learner. She already knows some basic commands, like sit and has a pretty decent recall already. Brooklyn is fairly easy to walk on a leash and will be a great adventure buddy! She does pull occasionally out of excitement or if she wants to go sniff something but is easy to correct. She aims to please and loves to learn new things too. She knows how to sit, shake, down, and can learn so much more. This girl really can do it all. With the right training and guidance, there’s nothing you can throw her way she wouldn’t be able to do. She would be the perfect adventure companion to take with you on walks, hikes, and could even make a fantastic running partner. Yes, Brooklyn can be a super fun, active, adventurous girly but she also has a calm side as well. She seems to already have some level of understanding that play time is an outside luxury. Of course, she will play indoors with a toy or tennis ball if you want her to but she is really good about finding a spot on the couch with her favorite toy and is perfectly content doing her own thing. Brooklyn's dream home would have a big backyard where she can stretch those legs, smell all the smells, and a place where she can find that perfect spot in the grass to bake in the sun. She would do best with a semi-active family that wants to take their dog with them on hikes, maybe even looking for a running partner, and also wanting a snuggly companion after a full day of adventures. She can certainly do both after she's had some form of mental stimulation. We are willing to test Brooklyn Cherry with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life? Story
We have had Freya since she was a puppy! She is almost 5 and is so sweet. She is not safe with livestock despite being an LGD. She does need good fencing. She is great at keeping predators away as long as livestock is separated from her. She does bark and will need an experienced owner. She would love to live on another farm with solid fencing but she would be ok in a backyard as long a she felt she was guarding something. She has almost always lived outside but may acclimate to an indoor lifestyle with training. We have a male available too, she is really bonded to, and we hope to keep them together. She is not used to living inside and is not potty trained. Message me with other questions!

Story
Cleo is full of personality and sweetness. This adorable 4-year-old shih tzu is spunky, friendly, and cute as can be. She's looking for a family who can give her plenty of attention and daily strolls around the neighborhood. Cleo does well with other dogs, but we don't know if she's ever lived with cats. Any introductions to resident pets should be done slowly. Cleo is very friendly and may do well with kids on the younger side as long as they can handle her gently. If you're ready to welcome home this lovely lady, make an adoption appointment to meet her today!

Story
Meet Dozer, a 5-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier with a big heart.Dozer has been with me since he was a puppy. He loves cuddles and being near his humans.Dozer is friendly and affectionate, great with kids, and a total goofball. He loves to play ball, although returning it is optional. He knows basic commands including sit, stay, and lay down.Dozer is a strong dog at approximately 90 pounds and has a lot of enthusiasm. He would benefit from consistent leash training and with someone who has experience handling larger dogs.Dozer is playful but sometimes plays too rough with other dogs. He would do best as the only dog, or with an experienced owner who can manage introductions and play.Dozer would do best in a home where he gets daily exercise and attention. He is vaccinated and up to date, crate trained, and not neutered. This is a difficult decision for us. But with a new baby and another dog, we are no longer able to give Dozer the time, exercise, and structure he truly deserves.

Story
LUNA is one of 7 babies that were left in dire straits when the mom's owner abandoned them. They are a combination of Boxer, Staffy, Lab and Cane Corso. The woman who has rescued them is about to get kicked out of her apartment because this puts her WAY over the limit but she's managed to get them their puppy shots and wormer and fed them even though it's straining her budget. We found a home for several of the pups but this little cutie and one of her sisters are desperate to find new homes. Spays will be included in their adoption fee. They are house trained, but need some leash training, etc. They love people and get excited to see new people. They are chewers as most pups are so learning to be crated when left alone would be to everyone's benefit. If you are interested in meeting this girl please fill out an adoption application and we'll get you connected to her as soon as you are approved. Or, if you are even willing to foster them while they are looking for a new home that would be great too! Their adoption fee will be $250 which as was mentioned included their spays. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an adoption application.April 8, 2026, 10:08 pm
