Story
Hi I'm SpongeBob, and I'm very handsome and super sweet boy! I'm a pretty active guy and need a lot of attention. I'm a chatty guy that likes to have conversations with my people. I also love to play and get all the pets! I had a pretty rough start in life and had some health issues, but I'm feeling great now! Because of my rough start I am a bit skittish at first but warm up to my people quickly when I'm comfortable. I do require a prescription food for now to keep me feeling good. I would do great in a home with a lot of energy to entertain me but also patience with me until I'm comfortable. I'd do well with another cat, especially if they would play with me. I don't think I would be a fan of dogs. Spongebob is fixed, microchipped, FIV negative, FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for their age. Story
Have you always wanted to be able to tell Julie from work that your cat is cuter and more athletic than hers? Well, look no further, Lois is that cat for you. She had her tail amputated due to an injury, but she doesn't let that stop her from being the fastest, prettiest, silliest, most curious, and best at jumping and climbing cat around. She is determined to catch that red laser light and loves to show off her agility while chasing it. You'll have to stop playing before she does so she can have a chance to catch her breath. She is a perfect lady about using the scratching posts around the house. In fact, she loves to climb them. When she needs a rest she will curl up somewhere where she can see either some birds, or on her people and purr herself to sleep. She loves scritches around her ears, but usually only when she specifically asks for them. She is still shy about being touched uninvited, perhaps because she was protecting herself while injured and recovering from her tail surgery. She will bat at you with her paws or mouth to let you know to back off - but Lois will lick you immediately to tell you that she loves you, she just needs her space. Her foster has noticed that Lois is becoming less agitated with unsolicited touching as she heals and suspects that will continue. That said, she may not do well with small children who do not understand when she doesn't want to be touched. She would likely do fine as an only cat provided her people play with her often so she can work off her mountains of youthful energy. She has gotten along well with dogs and cats and has started playing with the resident cat now that she is almost completely healed. She may never be the snuggliest cat around, but she certainly shows her affection and demands affection in return. With Lois a part of your family you will laugh often, and ooh and ah at her antics and cuteness. But best of all, you will have loads of amazing pictures and anecdotes to share at work so Julie doesn't get all of the attention all the time. Lois is fixed, microchipped, FIV negative, FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for their age. Story
I'm Charis! I've been raising my 4 boys since their birth at the end of March. Now that they are older, and ready for their forever homes, I'm ready too! I am a sweet, independent girl. I get along with the other animals at my house. There are 2 adult cats and a 60# dog. I am not a lap kitty, but my foster mom says it could be because I've been so busy raising these boys! I am cautious but loving once I feel comfortable with my surroundings. I don't have any problems or health issues. Show me where the litter box is and I won't forget! I'm also great at focusing my scratching to my scratching post! Make sure to have one in my new home :) I would do well in any family, but probably better in one without young children (who might want to hold me). Come meet me at The Cafe Meow in New Hope at 3524 Winnetka Ave N. New Hope, MN 55427 Charis is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age. Story
Tiramisu is fierce mamma huntress that loves proudly carrying around her mousey toys. She has very beautiful markings and looks like she could be part bengal. You can often find her sleeping in a cozy corner by a window or scratching on her post. Misu is very curious and playful. She is quite independent, so she won't demand much from you. She is comfortable in smaller spaces (with enough vertical space to explore) and friendly with people. Tiramisu is affectionate, though she will let you know when she isn't in the mood for attention. She LOVES head/ear/under the chin scratches, but is not a fan of her lower back being touched. She is very loving and a little feisty. This mama has the softest fur and piercing green eyes. Misu is BEAUTIFUL and she knows it. She would do best with someone experienced with cats and without small children. Tiramisu is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for their age. Story
Hi!! I'm Augustus, and I am a grey tiger tabby kitten. I currently live with my brother Milton in a foster home with 3 adult male cats and a female 2-year-old mutt named Jinx. My foster mom says I am the perfect combination of playful and loving. You need to know what a journey this family has been on. Our mom Vera had us when she was only 8 months old, and then, when we were not even 3 weeks old, the entire family was shipped overnight in a van from Oklahoma to Minnesota. My foster mom picked us up in a parking lot, and we were all very exhausted, and very stinky. But the foster family took us in and fattened us up and gave us baths. Then my cat mom disappeared to a new home! Now we're a pack of happy, ferocious kittens, with fond memories of our brave young mom. We all wrestle and have the run of the house. The dog thinks we're very fierce (we think), so we're not afraid of her. And we are respectful of the old man cats who lived here first... they don't really like us very much. I think if you looked up "kitten personality you would find me. I am adorable, silly, playful, zoomy, sleepy, cuddly, curious, and impulsive. I often fall asleep in my foster mom's lap after a hard day's play. I would love to live with my brother Milton, or if you have a young cat, I would love to meet them! Augustus is fixed, microchipped, FIV negative, FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for his age. Story
Lucina is a wonderful 1 year old cat. She has a typical energy level for her age-lots of sleeping, but still loves to play every day. She has been living with a 12 year old child, a 3 year old male cat, and several kittens younger than her and she has done great with everyone. Lucina isn't one to instigate any conflict, she has gotten along well with all types. Lucina has been a great addition to her foster family. She loves to chatter at birds, catch flies, and her favorite thing of all: being brushed. When her foster family returns home, Lucina will come to the door to greet them. If her foster mom sits down on the floor (even in a different room!), Lucina will run right over, flip on the ground, and stretch out her body as looooong as possible. She just loves to be petted. And if she hears the grooming brush, she also comes running! Lucina is a really smart girl, she is very intuitive with a sweet personality. She will occasionally hop into a lap when she wants to cuddle. Lucina is on a special diet and is doing well with specific kibble. Although she has short hair, she needs to be brushed daily. She would be successful in almost any type of home-she's just a really great all around cat. Her foster mom can't say enough good things about her! Lucina is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and up to date on vaccinations for her age.
