Story
Hi, I’m Feather. I am a 5 month old pug schnauzer/poodle mix. I love playing with toys and doing zoomies. I am looking for a forever home with a family that will be home with me often because I really love the companionship of my humans. I’ve grown up with my littermates so I love other dogs. I’m not sure about cats. I am neutered, chipped, and fully vaccinated. Please reply with a bit of information about yourself: your general location, current pets, work schedule, and a quick overview of your household. My humans want to ensure that I go to the best possible match for the both of us

Story
Feather or Gus. Take your pick! We are neutered, chipped & fully vaccinated. We are Pug Schnauzer mix. Mom is 100% Pug & dad is Schnauzer/mini Poodle. We are 5 months old & our days consist of playing & taking naps. We are doing awesome with potty-training. Being 50% pug means we will shed. Even if you think maybe we won't because of our Schnauzer genes, it's better to assume that we will, because pugs shed a lot, so we won't be good in a home w/someone w/allergies. We are very playful. We are not crate-trained, although we do sleep in a playpen w/each other. We’ve never been alone before, so we will probably need to get used to it, or maybe someone will adopt who has a pup friend already. Tell us about yourself. Your location, your current pets, your work schedule & any info about your household. Adopt one... or maybe both!

Story
Pug / Dachshund Mix Age: ≈ 4 years old Female, spayed 15 lbs Adoption Fee: $125 (includes spay/neuter, microchip, vaccinations) Cheerio came to the Sacramento County Shelter underweight and with an embedded foxtail in her neck. It was removed surgically, but post-op they had trouble stopping the bleeding. She tested negative for any blood clotting disorder - perhaps the surgery nicked an artery? Eventually, the bleeding stopped, but it left her anemic. The shelter needed a rescue group that specializes in medical cases to continue addressing her veterinary needs. Over time in foster care, her anemia improved and she gained her weight back. She is a very friendly, sweet dog. She likes attention and affection from her foster parents and volunteers. She likes roughhousing with the younger, larger dogs in her foster home. She doesn’t like being confined or kept away from the activities of the home. Crate training would be pretty difficult - lots of barking. Apartment living may not be the best option for her. We have no experience with her as an only dog. We would recommend that she go to a home with other playful, friendly dogs. Please note that we don’t adopt any of our dogs out to homes with children under the age of 13. Story
Hudson is an adorable small-breed puppy looking for a family that's ready for all the fun—and responsibility—that comes with raising a puppy. Like all young dogs, this little one will need continued training, structure, patience, and plenty of socialization to grow into a confident, well-mannered adult. Puppies thrive with consistency, regular exercise, and opportunities to explore the world in positive ways. At this young age, frequent potty breaks, supervision, and guidance are essential, so a home where someone is available at least every two hours is important. If you're ready to invest the time, love, and commitment a puppy deserves, Hudson could be the perfect addition to your family. Fill out a questionnaire

Story
Bowser is 20-pound pup who is ready to find an active family to call his own. Whether it's a morning walk, a hike, or a weekend adventure, he'll happily be by your side. After the fun is over, he's just as content to curl up on the couch for some well-earned cuddles. His foster mom describes him as smart, eager to learn, and highly food motivated, making training both fun and rewarding. He enjoys working with his people and loves having a job to do. Bowser will thrive in a calm home in a quiet neighborhood with experienced adopters who can provide structure, consistency, and continued positive reinforcement. He is looking for an adult-only home, or one with older, dog-savvy teens, where his boundaries will be respected. If you're looking for a loyal companion to share both your adventures and your downtime, Bowser may be the perfect match.

Story
🎾🐾 Meet Pebbles – The Fetch Fanatic with a Heart of Gold! 🐾🎾 Pebbles is settling into foster life beautifully and showing us more of her adorable personality every day! 💕 This smart cookie is already crate trained (it's her favorite little clubhouse 🏡), loves her potty routine, and if you throw a tennis ball... well... prepare to be playing fetch for a while because this girl is OBSESSED. 🎾😂 She's also a world-class cuddler who loves spending quality one-on-one time with her people. Pebbles has shown us that she likes clear boundaries and appreciates having her own space, especially while she's still decompressing. She's doing great with redirection and responds really well to guidance. She's absolutely capable of living with other dogs, but she'd do best with calm, respectful canine friends and a family willing to provide structure, boundaries, and proper introductions. In return, she'll reward you with loyalty, laughs, and lots of love. Every day this sweet girl grows a little more confident, and we can't wait for the lucky family who gets to call her their own. If you're looking for a fetch-loving, cuddle-giving best friend with just the right amount of sass, Pebbles is your girl! ❤️🐶

Story
🐾 Meet Muffin 🧁 Freshly baked, extra squishy, and approximately 55–60 pounds of pure potato energy, Muffin is a 3-year-old English Bulldog with a PhD in Professional Lounging. His favorite hobbies include: ☀️ Sunbathing like he's on a tropical vacation. 😴 Taking championship-level naps. 🍽️ Performing the cutest little happy spins when food is involved. ❤️ Collecting belly rubs like they're a full-time job. Muffin is the definition of a gentle soul. He absolutely loves people, is wonderful with kids, and is happiest when he's soaking up all the love and attention his humans are willing to give. If you're looking for a laid-back sidekick who believes every day should include snacks, naps, and cuddles... congratulations, you've found him. Muffin came to California Bully Rescue as a rescue-only pull from the Bradshaw Shelter with a few medical hurdles to overcome. He's currently working closely with our veterinary team to get to the bottom of some incontinence issues. The good news? He's already making great progress! For now, this handsome little meatball rocks a diaper while we continue finding the best long-term treatment plan. Through it all, Muffin has never stopped smiling, loving, or believing that his perfect family is out there waiting for him. So... who's ready to add one adorable, snorty, wiggly loaf of love to their family? 🧁🐾💕 Currently fostered in Roseville! https://www.cabullyrescue.org/apply-here
