Story
Meet Cooper! Cooper is a beautiful boy with stunning blue eyes. We think he is likely a husky/shepherd mix. Cooper LOVES people. Spending time with humans is his favorite thing and he's always excited to make new friends. Cooper has also done well with other dogs here at Pasado's. He walks well on a lead, enjoys going for car rides, and enjoys cuddling on the couch.

Juniper is a happy, friendly, adorable girl.  She is affectionate and playful!!  She loves to play ball!!  Juniper loves to hang out with you or play in the yard.  She is affectionate and loves to give kisses once she knows you.  Some people scare her, but once she knows you she is darling and playful.  She is so eager to please.  Juniper will need a home with a fenced yard.  Juniper found herself as a young pup in a shelter in California.  She was adopted and then found herself back at the shelter after she was hit by a car.  She then made her way to us as a 'greyhound mix'.  She is beyond darling and is so deserving of a true forever home.  She has a slight head tilt (adorable) and has some hip dysplasia which may need surgery (but that is not a given) as she ages, but now she is absolutely happy and playful.  We did a DNA test on Juniper and we were amazed to see that her mix is 45% German Shepherd, 42% American Staffordshire Terrier, 11% American Pit Bull Terrier and 2% Australian Cattle Dog.  We would never have guessed that she had any Terrier in her - she is a gentle, sweet soul and has a coat more like a Labrador or short coated Golden Retriever.  And while her 'greyhound' roots are not to be found, she is an adorable member of our GPI family and we can't wait to find this darling girl her forever home.  Juniper has made great progress in addressing the reactivity issues and she is expected to continue to make great strides with consistent training.  Juniper is a past Dog of the Month: https://www.greyhoundpetsinc.org/juniper-march-dog-of-the-month-copy/ Sponsored by Kristy Spray Sponsored by Kathleen Meyers, in memory of Roxy. Story
If you're ready to meet your very best friend and adventure buddy, your wait is over! Marina is a super friendly, spunky, and wonderful 1-year-old Husky mix and she's ready to share life with you. Marina enjoys playing with toys, playing tag with other dogs, going for hikes and walks, and snuggling up to her humans when it's time to nap. She will even use your arm as a pillow! Marina is looking for a family that can keep up with her pep and be able to provide her with plenty of daily exercise, mental enrichment, and socialization. Marina does awesome with other dogs but can get overly excited and have a hard time settling down. And resident dogs should be able to match her playstyle and energy. Marina will likely do best in a home without cats. Marina can be jumpy and rowdy when she's playing or overly excited and is looking for a home with just older, dog-experienced kids, closer to their teen years. Due to her energy levels, Marina is not a fit for an apartment or condo. If you're ready to welcome home this special girl, send in an adoption application today! #activelifestyle #playful

Story
Hello my name is Rory! I am a 6 month old puppy! I currently weigh 26lbs! My foster family sent off my DNA to Embark to get a better guess at the question of what am I?! As it turns out, I am mostly a German Shepherd! That must be why I am so smart. I am very treat motivated to learn new things! I know things like “sit” and I am working diligently on “heel.” I spend most of my day playing with my favorite toys or my foster brother, Louie! If you have a dog in your home already that I could play with that would be wonderful! Once I’ve got my puppy energy out I am happy to curl up on the couch for a good snuggle session. I love meeting new people but when my foster mom takes me out at night I am on high alert! I am getting better each day at asking to go potty, soon I will be fully potty trained! I sleep in my crate at night without a peep. I’m ready to find my forever family!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it. You can read more about transport here: www.charmingpetrescue.org/transportWe understand transport is not an option for everyone, but we offer it at the cost we pay the transport company for those who wish to adopt from us.October 11, 2024, 4:42 am

Story
My wife and I are looking to find a great home for Bella (1.8 yr old, female, 55lb, spayed, GSD Husky). We took her in due a recent death in the family. I wish we could keep her, but our current situation isn’t permitting. Ideally we are looking for someone with dog training experience / an active lifestyle or property. Bella has an incredibly sweet personality and grew up with another dog, cat, and 12 year old kid. but as any true Husky, isn’t without her husky deviances from time to time (loves cardboard / mild escape artist). Incredibly friendly to other dogs and people. She got the name Bella as she flops over for belly rubs when she gets excited. Very intelligent and food / toy motivated and has been a quick learner to our training in the time that we have had her. Sleeps in crate or on the bed, she’s fine with either. She was raised as an outdoor / slightly indoor dog and loves being in the backyard. If you have a dog door she will likely be out there more than inside.

Story
Hello friends! I am Mick Fleetwoof, we don't fully know what my breed or age is, or what my past was like, but what we do know is that I am a good boy with a lot of love to give. We think I am a 2 1/2 year old pitbull german shepherd mix. I have been fostered by a young woman for two years now who unfortunately can no longer keep me. She loves me deeply, but I need someone who is better for me than she is. I have a lot of energy and it definitely comes out around people and other pets, but I do have a very chill snuggly side. Due to my unknown past, I do have some quirks. I get scared and a bit reactive over some things. like when someone approaches me aggressively w/ shoes in their hand, or when another dog stares at me too long, and I do have some resource guarding issues that I have been working hard on. I am great with cats, and again I cannot emphasize enough how much I love to cuddle. My perfect day would be lounging around the house/yard, adventuring with you and then a snuggle.
