He was found camping out at an abandoned hospital alongside his lady friend and 40 other dogs, showing incredible resilience despite the challenges he faced. Now, he’s ready to embark on a new adventure with a loving family.
Though heartworm positive, Harris’ joyful personality shines through. His friendly demeanor makes him the perfect companion for families, individuals, or anyone looking to add a loyal friend to their life. Heartworms are alarmingly common in stray dogs in the Houston area, primarily due to the region’s warm and humid climate, which creates ideal conditions for mosquitoes—the primary carriers of the heartworm parasite. Heartworm treatment will be provided for him and his new family.

Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.
