So far at the shelter Pip has been calm and quiet, she likes playing with other dogs. She spent some time in an office and was the perfect guest. She walked past cats and did not pay any attention. Pip came to us when her owner was no longer able to care for her. In her kennel Pip is quiet and sits patiently at the front. Abandoned in CA desert, saved from Devore kill shelter, rescued and trained. Wants to be your only dog. She is a gorgeous female purebred. She is sweet, very loyal & protective of her owner & house, excellent sniff dog. Loves a schedule, kennel trained. Loves to eat anything and walk (she does not pull) but is not friendly to other dogs unless they are neutral & introduced carefully. She executes her commands and knows when you enforce NO. Responds extremely well to handler. Loves a routine, to play with toys, to chew bones and to tell you what time it is. She does well in a verry active & outdoorsy only dog environment & needs a true leader as she is always trying to be Alpha. Needs a home that understands the breed. She needs a lot of activity and mental stimulation. Gentle but firm and consistent correction. A love bug but also excellent at manipulation. She would be your best personal assistant and protection dog.
