According to Wisdom Panel, Axel is primarily Great Pyrenees (44%) and Australian Cattle Dog (33%), with a mix of Maremma Sheepdog, Greyhound, Labrador Retriever, Kuvasz, Komondor, and American Eskimo Dog. Axel is one year old and weighs 74 lbs. He is potty traine and kennel trained—though he needs a little encouragement to go in, but he settles in comfortably once inside. He is shy when he is in a new situation or when he meets new people, but it does not take him long to get comfortable. He is good with other dogs, but has not been introduced to cats. If you are interested in adopting, please submit an application at www.rescuerowinc.org  *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Meet Axel and Diesel! These two boys were found wandering alone in Oklahoma, where a Good Samaritan spent over three weeks feeding them and earning their trust. Despite efforts to find their owners, no one came forward. Wanting to give them a better future, the Good Samaritan’s parents made the trip to bring them to North Texas. A vet visit confirmed that Axel and Diesel are about a year old, not microchipped, heartworm negative, and now up to date on vaccinations. They’re scheduled for neuters on Monday, and a DNA test is underway to learn more about their breed mix. Axel currently weighs 71 lbs, while Diesel is 56 lbs. After a week in their foster home, here’s what we’ve learned: Axel – Friendly, playful, loves belly rubs, enjoys companionship, sweet-natured, and smart. Diesel – More reserved, quiet, gentle, and intelligent with a sweet disposition. We’re excited to watch these two settle in and will keep everyone updated on their journey! Nanna is a lovable 4-year-old Great Pyrenees with the distinctive double dew claws on her back legs. She’s an easygoing companion, getting along wonderfully with other dogs, cats, and children. Known for her sweet nature, Nanna absolutely adores pets and cuddles. She often forgets just how big she is, happily squeezing into your personal space for an endless stream of affection. True to her breed, Nanna has some classic Great Pyrenees traits, like barking at things she doesn't trust. Despite that, she's incredibly gentle and would make a perfect family dog. While she doesn’t have experience with livestock, she’s sure to be a loving and loyal addition to any home.

Story
Whiskey is a shy, gentle, 100 lb, wanna-be lap dog in excellent health in need of a loving forever home. He loves resting his head in a lap for scritches. Whiskey was adopted as a failed livestock guardian from a farm at the age of 2 and is just under 7 now. He doesn't like horned ram sheep in his space. Whiskey is great with kids and other dogs after an introduction. Without an introduction, he tends to keep to himself. He likes some cats. His favorite pastimes include being pet, napping, walking, and the great outdoors. He's been very obedient. Unfortunately, a move is in the works, and he won't be living his best life there :-( Vet records available for successful applicant. Adoption fee will go towards grooming + tax + tip because he's a sheddy boy.
