Story
We are absolutely smitten with this sweet boy! Edward is 11 weeks old, weighs 14.14 lbs, and is expected to be between 46–77 lbs when fully grown. According to Wisdom Panel, he is a mix of seven different breeds, with the top two being 42% Great Pyrenees and 33% American Pit Bull. Edward already knows how to sit on command, lay down on command, is kennel trained and is doing very well with potty training. He loves everyone he meets and does great with other dogs. He enjoys his toys and is wonderful at entertaining himself, but he’s also incredibly affectionate and never misses a chance to give kisses. If you are interested in adding Edward to your family, please submit an adoption application at www.rescuerowinc.org. Due to his breed makeup, he will not be placed in an apartment. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2626102##

Story
Clarence is a 4 year old, 100 lb Great Pyrenees who is ready for his forever home. When he first came to the rescue, he was in rough shape and very shy, but he has since grown into a confident, affectionate, and handsome boy. Clarence enjoys being around people and forms strong bonds with his humans. He is fully potty trained, well-mannered in the home, and does not require a kennel when left alone. He knows how to sit and shake on command and enjoys daily walks and walks well on a leash. He does well with other dogs after a slow introduction and would be best matched with someone familiar with large breeds or Great Pyrenees traits. Clarence needs a home where someone is around for part or most of the day. No apartments and no cats, please. If you’re interested in adopting Clarence, please apply at www.rescuerowinc.org. Story
Our daughter and son adopted this dog two years ago on New Year’s Eve. They did not ask the right questions, and we did not know he would be so big. He needs a good place to run around and enjoy being outside. We love him, but we cannot keep him in our home. Not to mention, our daughter has gone away to college, and is about to move into an apartment where she cannot take a large dog, and our son is about to go away to college. Unfortunately, with mine and my husband‘s busy schedule, we cannot continue to take care of the dog. He is very sweet and loving, just needs a nice yard to run around in. Any family will be lucky to have him.

Story
Koa is a sweet, playful boy with a heart as big as his curiosity. He loves being part of whatever you&#39re doing and will happily follow you from room to room just to be near you. Smart and observant, he&#39s always tuned in and ready for the next adventure. Playtime is Koa&#39s love language. Tug of war is his absolute favorite, and he enjoys daily walks and good, energetic play sessions. Chew toys are a must for this fun loving guy. But above all else, Koa lives for affection, pets are his number one joy in life, and he&#39ll happily curl up in your lap or snuggle right beside you on the couch to soak up every bit of love. Koa is wonderful with kids; he&#39s gentle, patient, and enjoys watching them play. He does need to be the only dog in the home, where he can shine as the loyal, devoted companion he&#39s meant to be. If you&#39re looking for a loving, attentive, playful best friend who will always be by your side, Koa might just be your perfect match. The adoption fee for all of our dogs is $300.00 and that includes their vaccinations, spay or neuter, rabies and microchip. To start the process please visit our website and fill out the adoption application (www.dfwrescueme.org) and from there the foster family can answer any questions and arrange a time to meet. Koa is s participating in the DFW Rescue Me guest dog program, so ongoing care and custody is provided by her foster, not by DFWRM.January 6, 2026, 9:18 pm

Story
Sweet Magnolia is a 5-month-old, 40 lb Great Pyrenees, maybe mixed with Lab. She really is as sweet as her name, once she warms up to you. She was abandoned in a field with her siblings, so naturally she is a little shy at first. Magnolia LOVES to play with toys of all kinds. She can be found with her head in the toy box, looking for the PERFECT toy to play with. No toys available...not a problem...she has recently found that chasing her tail is fun too! When the weather is nice (or even cold), she loves to spend time romping through the yard. Once she is done playing and romping, she is ready for a nice long nap! Magnolia is crate trained, but still working on perfecting her house training and walking on a leash. She gets along with the other dogs and the cat in her foster home. Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
We think Granger is about a year and a half old. We found him out wandering our raw land in Whitesboro and decided to take him in because of how kind and gentle he was. He has been an excellent watch dog and really loves humans. We have raised him as an outdoor dog to date. A person could choose to adapt him to indoor living if they desired with some training. He is very food motivated and I have had the best success training him with treats. He is recently fixed and has had zero health issues. We are only interested in rehoming him since we chose to get chickens this year. He hasn't had a single issue until we chose to get chickens. I was hoping I could teach him to leave them be but have not been successful. So if you aren't planning on having chickens run around your property all day he could be the perfect dog for you!
