Story
Layla went back to Mustang Veterinary Surgical for her final x-rays, and we are thrilled to share that her leg has fully healed! She’s now free to run and play without restrictions—just in time to find her forever home! Layla’s foster mom describes her as a playful pup with a touch of “mouthiness”—she sometimes uses her mouth in play, not to bite but just as her way of interacting. For this reason, we recommend any children in her new home be at least 13 years old, as younger kids might not understand her mouthing. Her foster mom is helping her learn gentler ways to play, but it may take a little time. Layla is crate trained and working hard on potty training. She absolutely adores people and dogs alike! According to Wisdom Panel, Layla is a 5 month old Husky, German Shepherd, and Poodle mix. Her estimated adult weight is between 37-62 lbs. Ready to meet this beautiful girl? Submit an adoption application at www.rescuerowinc.org! *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a home check *Our adoption fees are as follows paid by cash, a check made out to Rescue Row, Venmo: @Rescue-Row or at Zelle: info@rescuerowinc.org Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2196422##

Story
Baldur is a phenomenal pupper! Loves to give kisses. Loves good long walks and runs. Adores sleeping on soft and cushy beds or blankets. He's been my champion getting me through tough times since coming to me as a puppy during the height of the covid pandemic. I love him with all my heart which is what brings us to the point of knowing he may fit better with a new home. We have a newborn and it has taken our time away from caring for Baldur. We're not able to give him much time for playing or walks and are seeing it start to effect his mood. He has seemed bored and unhappy with us and is frustrated when he brings us a toy but we're too busy with the baby to play. We're so hopeful a loving new owner can give him all the love and affection he deserves! He enjoys the company of other dogs (once he gets use to them) both big and small. He even plays nice with the cat. He's never bitten any person or other animal but has shown his teeth when he's meeting new dogs for the first time.
