Story
Our Coby is an AKC-registered Siberian Husky, born on October 8, 2020, with a coat color of brown and white. We acquired him from an AKC Husky breeder. He is a very beautiful, lovely, healthy, and gentle dog. Coby is home-trained and crate-trained. This is a nice, friendly breed. He never assaults or hurts people. He likes playing tug-of-war and tag games. We love Coby so much and have had many happy times. But unfortunately, due to the severe allergies of my children, we are so sad and heartbroken to decide to rehome our lovely Coby. We are now looking forward to finding a nice family and ideal home to adopt our Coby, with time to dedicate to him and experience with active breeds.

Story
Hi, I’m Trevor! I’m a 1 year old Husky mix weighing in at 43 pounds, and I’m everything you’d want in a fun-loving companion. I’ve got a goofy personality, tons of energy, and I love to play and cuddle. I’m confident, affectionate, curious, and I know how to sit like a good boy! I get along great with other dogs, kids, and even some cats. I walk well beside you on a leash (though I might pull now and then), and I’m always up for a game or some snuggles. I do jump up when I’m excited, but that’s just my way of saying I’m happy to see you!

Story
Hi, I’m Chewbarka. I’m a 2-year-old husky weighing about 70 pounds, and I’ve got a big heart to match my size. I’m friendly, affectionate, and enjoy being around people, especially kids. I also do well with other dogs, so I’d fit right into a home with canine companions. I’m curious and playful, and I love having something to keep me engaged. I’m still working on my manners a bit, but I’m a smart boy and eager to learn. I walk well alongside you and enjoy getting out for fresh air and adventure. I’m not a fan of cats, so I’d do best in a home without them. If you’re looking for a loyal, fun-loving companion who’s ready to be part of the family, I might just be your guy.

Story
Amos got to us after he had to go from the animal shelter to the vet clinic for an amputation. We don’t know why his front left leg was so damaged. We do know that the night of his surgery he managed to rip out all of his stitches and laid his head on the vet tech’s shoulder while getting wrapped for repair surgery the next morning. He is not quite a typical Husky as he’s very laid back. He doesn’t use his voice near as often as most Huskies although he does have a little growl in his conversational voice which isn’t nearly as off-putting as it might sound.Amos has great house manners, does fine on a leash, and would be a perfect go-everywhere boy for his family. He adores his humans and is very loving and outgoing. He is a social boy and meeting new people and animals is easy for him. He’s fine with cats and seems to ignore the livestock kids at his foster home.He is very engaged with his humans and loves to be as close when he doesn’t want to spend time watching the world go by from his perch on the porch. He will often ask to sleep outside but is willing to do what his human feels is best.Amos is fully vetted, neutered, microchipped, and current with flea/tick and heartworm prevention.

Story
Rosie is a nine-month-old Husky mix who is being surrendered to us. Unfortunately, her family doesn't have the time to give her the love and attention she needs. She's very affectionate, loves to play fetch and go for walks and will do anything for a belly rub. She weighs 55 lbs and is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and on heartworm prevention. Rosie is house and crate-trained and does great with dogs, cats, and kids.  Her adoption fee is $275 and you can apply to meet/adopt her here: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society       We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application. Story
We received DNA results for Bud! According to Wisdom Panel, the puppies are a mix of 16 different breeds, with their top breeds being 41% Siberian Husky, 14% Belgian Malinois, and 12% German Shepherd Dog. The boys are now 4 months old and Sprout weighs 21.2 lbs and Bud weighs 19.4 lbs. Their estimated adult weight is between 49–82 lbs. They are both doing an amazing job with potty and crate training and are very snuggly little guys. They can be a bit shy at first, but once they warm up, they love to play. If you’re interested in adopting Bud or Sprout, please fill out an application at www.rescuerowinc.org. Due to their breed mix, we will not place them in an apartment, and they must be adopted separately. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 3 business days. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee  Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee  Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2702518##
