Nicholas came into my life when he was young, and he is now about 1.5 years old. He is a mixed-breed dog with a big heart and a sweet, expressive personality. Nicholas is still in his youthful stage — curious, affectionate, and eager to experience more of the world. This has been an incredibly difficult decision for me. I almost don’t want to do this, but changes in my work now require frequent travel, and I can no longer give Nicholas the time, space, and outings he truly deserves. Making sure he has the best possible life has always come first. Nicholas would thrive in a home with a yard and a full family who can take him out regularly and include him in daily activities. He is loving, gentle, and bonds deeply with his people. With the right home, he will be an amazing companion and a loyal member of the family. My hope is to find a home where Nicholas is not just cared for, but truly cherished and given the active, engaged life he deserves.

Nala is a sweet girl that’s is a bonded pair with her brother Cesar. I’ve had them for the past 10 years after I adopted them from their previously neglectful owner. She barks but only until she gets pets and attention and then that’s all she cares about. I wish I could keep them and it kills me to do this but I need to do right by her and her brother. I am no longer able to care for them in the situation I’m in and it’s not fair to them. I love them so much and they’re loving dogs. I just want them to be happy.

This is Cesar. I call him my big baby Squeeze. He’s a big cuddler and smoocher. He’s a bonded pair with his sister Nala. They have never known a day without each other. They are dog reactive but are otherwise very good dogs. They love people and affection. And they have always got along with any cat in the home. It pains me so much to lose them after 10 years together but I can no longer care for them in the situation that I’m in. I love them so much and just want them to be happy.

Mikey is a 35-lb, 1-year-old affectionate boy who loves cuddles, attention, kisses, playing outdoors, and fetch. He is a loving dog who bonds deeply with his people. He does well with children and with non-aggressive dogs. With unfamiliar adults, he may be wary at first, but with time he can learn to trust and build connection. Mikey needs continued socialization and leash training. In new environments, he becomes anxious and may act defensively until he feels safe. Because of this, he needs an experienced, patient owner who understands anxiety-based behavior. Mikey grew up with his best friend Ana and did well with a cat named Boar as a puppy. He was adopted once, but due to anxiety and not eating, he returned home. I am moving and living on the road and want a stable, permanent home for him. Kiwi 🥝 is a spayed, microchipped 10 month Pittie-Lab mix looking for her forever person and home 🏡 She was rescued from the euthanasia list at the Downey Animal Shelter. She is a complete cuddle bug who prefers hanging out over exercise and play. Kiwi is the perfect mixture of pittie and lab. She is a couch potato by nature (pittie) 🥔🛋️ but loves an occasional round of fetch (lab) side) 🎾if it means napping in the sun right after ☀️. She has been to 5 doggy pack walks and is an active participant in both the LARPBO training sessions and ACPB Academy. As with any smart breed, she would thrive most with someone who is willing to provide consistent structure and training. Kiwi is crate trained, kennel trained, knows all her basic commands + tricks, and is working on becoming a 10/10 loose-leash walker.
