Jackie & Eloa  It takes two to tango. Well, look no further. This dynamic senior duo has been together for nearly a decade. And they do love each other. Jackie loves to snuggle and go on walks. Eloa is more the Eeyore type: goofy and lovable. They are good with children, already spayed and current on their vaccines.  They have been in one of our fabulous foster homes for nearly two years. They deserve to have a family of their own to spend the rest of their days with.     April 16, 2024, 11:00 pm

Story
Meet Bubba!!!    He is a one-year-old Labrador pit mix. He is a loving goofball who will become your best friend in no time. He loves to snuggle and give kisses to his favorite humans. He enjoys car rides and gets very excited when he sees his leash knowing it's time for a walk!    He is very smart and very trainable. He would do well in a dog training class. Bubba knows his sit commands and likes to sit like a frog! He is treat-motivated and takes treats gently.    Bubba is a big softie at heart; all he wants is someone to love, who will love him back, spend time with him, and play with him.   Bubba is neutered and up to date on his vaccinations.       Please contact Foster at p.kelter310@outlook.com         These dogs are looking for homes through private parties in the Los Angeles CA area. I was surrendered to the pound by my family, which was a pretty devastating experience for me. I am very affectionate and attach very quickly to every person I meet. I do get attached so much that I don’t want to share you with somebody else and therefore, I may become protective. So, my foster mum tells me that I need a person who can be my leader, who will show me the way and help me to trust again. I am very smart and eager to learn. I am also great with dogs and I would just love it if I could live with a canine companion and have a yard to romp around in. I really don't need too much; just a new forever home — is yours available? If you are interested in meeting Jack Black, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions. [Jack Black weighs 45 lbs.] (1504)

Story
I'm a chocolate lab, need I say more? Ok, well, until recently I was living with a nice man and another dog on a horse farm, but he became ill, and now I need a new home. I'm very easy to get along with, either on walks or just being lazy around the house, and I do like water. One night my foster even took me out on the town to a restaurant patio, and I was SO well-behaved and everyone loved me. I can live with another dog but I don’t like sharing my food with anyone, so you would need to feed me separately. I did say I was a lab, so you know my relationship to food, right? Haha! Don't know what else to tell you, I just sort of go with the flow, so maybe I'll go with yours, too? If you are interested in meeting Gunner, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions. (2008/2402)

Story
Hi, I'm just plain George. Well not "plain," as you can plainly see. I'm very handsome with my curly tail and streamlined physique. I've been around the block, and now I'm looking for my forever home, a place that I can relax but also be a little protective. I'm great with people and I love going to the dog park, but I can be a little over-excited when I meet dogs on leash, so you need to be pretty strong when you walk me, at least until I learn to calm down (and I'm a fast learner). And did I mention that I'm a perfect gentleman in the house, and I never have accidents? Just don't bring any cats or other small animals around me, and we'll get along great. If you are interested in meeting George, please download the Adoption Questionnaire, fill it out and email it back to us at info@farescue.org or fax (310) 362-0321. You can also meet this and/or other available dogs at our weekend adoptions. [George is about 3 years old and weighs 61 lbs.] (2110)

Story
About Me Say hello to Se Woong, which means “Captain, Good, Graceful”. With his sweet eyes and handsome smile he is 75 lb of pure zest for life! He’s four years old AND a puppy at heart. With continued training and love, Se Woong will become the best dog he can be! Se Woong was rescued from a shelter in Korea by members of SCGRR’s International team during a trip in June. Like most of our saved Korea dogs, Se Woong was treated for heartworm and will need to be on heartworm prevention for the duration of his life. Upon arrival, SCGRR transferred Se Woong to our board and train facility to give him the needed foundation for being his best! While in boarding, our trainers discovered his love to cary items in his mouth and teach him commands. We believe this is the first time he lives in a home and even though some things scared him at first, like the TV or mirrors, he’s never shy away from exploring and discovering all the new smells and sounds. That immense curiosity could easily get him into trouble – just like a puppy!– so he needs to be closely supervised and guided through the boundaries of a new household. Once he knows the lay of the land he will show you his more mellow and calm side when he just loves to nap next to you and get neck scritches. Click on Video He is crate trained, and knows his basic commands, and he’s making great progress at potty training and walking on leash too. He’s very active and enjoys his time outside exploring, playing and running at least 1-2 hrs a day. Se Woong does exhibit a high prey drive so a home without cats or small critters is best. Also, due to his size and mouthiness, a home with children over 10 will be appropriate. Se Woong is currently residing in an apartment and he would love to have a yard to do his zoomies and sun bathe. Mouthing was an issue while at the rescue and with proper training and guidance, has been really helpful now that he’s in foster care. We also believe once he settles in a home and feels safe, this behavior will subside. My Ideal Home Se Woong’s ideal family will have the dedication and patience to make sure he continues with his basic training and socialization. He would benefit from an outdoorsy household and someone to show him the world. Although he might be good with another dog similar in size, he would really love to be the center of attention. Want to Adopt me? If you believe your home is the perfect match for me, please make sure you have first submitted an adoption application and completed your home interview with a SCGRRescue Volunteer. Then, tell my personal representative (aka Rep) more about why we are a great match via email at luvbeachgolden@gmail.com Please note: We are only able to cover and adopt out to residents of Southern California. Adoption Fee: $800.00 April 16, 2024, 11:23 pm
