Meet BRICK! He is about 4 years old and came to us through our community outreach program where he played with dogs big and small. BRICK had been hit by a car twice and his owner surrendered him to us so we could get him care and a good home. BRICK is all healed up and having fun playing with other dogs at our kennel. BRICK weighs about 70lbs and is a softie at heart. He can be a little shy meeting new people but quickly warms up. BRICK walks very well on leash and could benefit from a home with another confident dog. BRICK is fully vaccinated, neutered, microchipped and is working on his crate training. Waffle is an almost two year old golden retriever. He’s hitting his teenage years which is self explanatory… He would thrive in an environment where he can get his energy out, maybe a big yard? Definitely frequent exercise. He does have some behavioral issues such as leash pulling and jumping on counters and such. If you could invest some professional training, it will likely get better since he listens and learns very well. We currently give Waffle a medicated dog food for a sensitive stomach but he could likely be weaned off of it since the issue was when he was a puppy. He loves treats (cabob bones), chew toys especially ones he can destroy lol. I hope he brings you joy.

We sprung Danny from the shelter in San Diego where he came in as a stray in dire need of some TLC. He was severely malnourished at 30lbs underweight with wounds and cuts to his as well as skin and ear infections. Despite everything, this boy has been an absolute love. He is friendly and relaxed with people, happy to interact with dogs, and a real homebody. He is incredibly loving and trusting, and we’re already seeing glimpses of his playful curiosity, gentle energy, and even some signs of past training. He walks beautifully on a leash, takes treats with the sweetest enthusiasm, and shows a natural sense of polite behavior. He has not yet had an introduction to kids or cats, but from his demeanor it is likely he will be friendly with both. Danny would do best in a home with multiple adults that will minimize his alone time as he acclimates to his new life.
