Story
Tammy is a beautiful 45 lb girl who just wants to be loved. She is 9 years old, and a lab/shepherd mix. She is very sweet, but shy. Once she gets to know you and trusts you (which doesn't take much time), she is very loving, and will flip on her back for belly rubs! She also likes to plop herself down on the couch next to you and is an affectionate pup. Tammy loves treats and toys! We're not too sure about what Tammy endured in her past, but she is very nervous of loud noises, being restrained, and of new places, so we think a calm household without children is best for her. She is good with most other dogs, but needs a slow and controlled introduction. Tammy is house trained, rides well in the car and walks nicely on a leash. She is so smart, and knows many tricks including sit, down, give paw, roll over, turn around. Shes so sweet and everyone who fosters her can't help but fall in love!

IMPORTANT: The Nature Network Inc. is a small 501c3 non-profit no-kill organization. Most animals we rescue are abandoned at the pound, who no one wants--seniors and special-needs. 100% of all funds are used for them—extensive veterinary and medical costs, prescription meds, rehab, special foods, supplements, and more. Below, under our The Nature Network CONTACT INFO you can find a “DONATION” link. We are deeply grateful for help. To meet us, help us, or if you know people or businesses who would like to, please contact us at: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (Also our PayPal Giving email address for donation and sponsorship). Mailing: The Nature Network Inc., 3826 Grand View Blvd., #66790, Los Angeles, CA 90066. We are not like many larger non-profits who use up to 90% of all funds on expensive advertising, enormous salaries, social media, and human expenses. Our veterinary references are available upon request. GINGER (#3777160) and her Black Labrador Retriever sister ZOE (#3777159), are two wonderful girls, a lovely duo, who were at the Carson Shelter for a long time, so they were living on VERY borrowed time. They are very gentle, sweet girls—both with each other and with people. They are affectionate and although they are now 11 or 12, they have lots of giddy-up in their steps. They would have settled into a new family very easily because they have each other, are very in tune with people, and want to please. The shelter volunteers had called us to please save them. We are glad we did--they are FANTASTIC! To sponsor Ginger and Zoe, please contact: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (also our Paypal donation email address)

All of us, including board members, are volunteers only. Our veterinary references are available upon request. ABBY is a beautiful Black Labrador Retriever, about 11 years old. She was dumped at the pound, because she apparently has a birth defect in one of her legs, giving her an uneven gait. It does not seem to bother her, but it was enough to condemn her to death at the pound, and she was very sad in there. Abby gets along well with people and other dogs and is now a happy dog, but she is elderly and special needs since arthritis has begun bothering her. She has been spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, examined, and now loved. To sponsor Abby, please contact: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (also our PayPal donation/sponsorship email address)

Our Board Members and our President and Founder are all volunteers. Our veterinary references are available upon request. DOTTY is a beautiful, senior, Special Needs Black Labrador Retriever mix who is on the smaller side (56 pounds), with the white wings of a dove on her chest. She has the most soulful and loving personality. She is about 10 years old and was rescued from the pound just hours before she was due to be euthanized. She has one ear permanently up and one down which gives her an irresistibly cute look that will keep you smiling. She has lovely, sleek black fur and is quite a gorgeous girl. Her photos don't do her justice. Dotty simply ADORES people and she loves giving kisses and cuddling. She likes carrying her soft toys around and is just so grateful to receive attention--she greets everyone smiling and happy, her tail softly wagging. Dotty does not do well with other dogs or cats, when Dotty’s medical needs have been satisfied we would need to find an experienced dog owner, where Dotty can be the only dog in the family. She would enjoy a yard, but likes being inside with people. Do get in touch, and you will be won over by how special she is. Dotty is spayed, house trained, and up to date on her vaccinations. Story
BUDDY was saved off the 405 Freeway by two very brave college girls. His home was never found. They named him, had Buddy fixed, examined and vaccinated. Buddy is a wonderful and affectionate dog who was just not accepted by the other dog in his new home. He is a 2-3 year old Labrador Retriever mixed with Bull Terrier. Buddy loves to cuddle, is protective, and although he gets along fine with other dogs, he would do best as an only dog in the household with his new adoptive parents as he likes to eat other dogs’ food too, probably because he was hungry for quite a while. Buddy is neutered, vaccinated, and weighs about 68 pounds. For more information about Buddy, please contact us at: theanimalsletbehind@socal.rr.com (Also our PayPal email for donations and sponsorship.)
