Story
Tammy is a beautiful 45 lb girl who just wants to be loved. She is 9 years old, and a lab/shepherd mix. She is very sweet, but shy. Once she gets to know you and trusts you (which doesn't take much time), she is very loving, and will flip on her back for belly rubs! She also likes to plop herself down on the couch next to you and is an affectionate pup. Tammy loves treats and toys! We're not too sure about what Tammy endured in her past, but she is very nervous of loud noises, being restrained, and of new places, so we think a calm household without children is best for her. She is good with most other dogs, but needs a slow and controlled introduction. Tammy is house trained, rides well in the car and walks nicely on a leash. She is so smart, and knows many tricks including sit, down, give paw, roll over, turn around. Shes so sweet and everyone who fosters her can't help but fall in love!

Story
Whiskey is a big sweet 8 year old boy who is great with kids, loves going on long walks (he is a big puller), or just lounging around on a couch or his bed. He loves treats and he will do anything for food (mostly shake his paw). He is very friendly w people, wants constant attention, and doesnt know he's 84 lbs. He doesn't like dog parks at all so I never bring him there, only walks and jogs and bike rides (loves bike rides). He was fostered and adopted from a local rescue service in early 2022. The only medical condition he has is a low thyroid, so he takes a pill for that every meal. I have a new job in which I will traveling weeks and months at a time, and that would not be good for him. So I want to find him a loving new home that has plenty of time for him.

Details
Good with kids, Good with dogs, Not good with cats, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
BUDDY was saved off the 405 Freeway by two very brave college girls. His home was never found. They named him, had Buddy fixed, examined and vaccinated. Buddy is a wonderful and affectionate dog who was just not accepted by the other dog in his new home. He is a 2-3 year old Labrador Retriever mixed with Bull Terrier. Buddy loves to cuddle, is protective, and although he gets along fine with other dogs, he would do best as an only dog in the household with his new adoptive parents as he likes to eat other dogs’ food too, probably because he was hungry for quite a while. Buddy is neutered, vaccinated, and weighs about 68 pounds. RUSSELL - Please adopt or foster me! (You won't be sorry!) RUSSELL is a lovely, friendly, energetic, 9 year old, 60 pound, medium size, White/Yellow Labrador Retriever. RUSSELL won Olympic Gold in playing fetch! Russell is super enthusiastic and always overjoyed to see you. Russell is very lonely living in a kennel and is in desperate need of a new family to call his own. His owner passed away and the family left him in the pound. Russell does not appear to have any issues with other dogs. He gets very excited to meet people and will jump up to greet you, so be prepared! Russell acts younger than his age, and is eager to please. Russell is healthy, neutered, vaccinated, and licensed. Story
URGENT--PLEASE SAVE BLACKIE BY CHRISTMAS, HE WILL BE EUTHANIZED DEC. 26 at 4:00 PM!! BLACKIE is a Black Lab, Border Collie and small Shepherd cross. We've run out of space and foster homes. At the animal shelter Blackie seems very lost and confused, has become a little stiff and lost weight. It looks like his owner was older and unable to have a dog anymore, leaving Blackie at the mercy of family members who abandoned him, we discovered. Blackie spent a week at the nice rescue family's home, very active, playing, and robust, but they had to leave for a prolonged holiday trip and could not keep him. BLACKIE is around 7 years old, healthy, looks in good shape, active, agile and neutered. Blackie is ok with other dogs (more likely females). He can be a bit defensive around other male dogs, or if put loose in other dogs' territory. Blackie just seems better with girl dogs. We are located in Los Angeles. Please consider adopting an adult pup, so you can make him a happy pup again! More photos are available. For more information about BLACKIE, please contact: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (also our PayPal email address for donations and sponsorships)

ABBY-Special Needs Sponsorship IMPORTANT: The Nature Network Inc. is a small 501c3 non-profit no-kill organization. Most animals we rescue are abandoned at the pound, who no one wants--seniors and special-needs. 100% of all funds are used for them—extensive veterinary and medical costs, prescription meds, rehab, special foods, supplements, and more. We are deeply grateful for help. To meet us, help us, or if you know people or businesses who would like to, please contact us at: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (Also our PayPal Giving email address for donation and sponsorship). Mailing: The Nature Network Inc., 3826 Grand View Blvd., #66790, Los Angeles, CA 90066. No funds are ever used for advertising, salaries, social media, or human expenses. All of us, including board members, are volunteers only. Our veterinary references are available upon request. ABBY is a beautiful Black Labrador Retriever, about 11 years old. She was dumped at the pound, because she apparently has a birth defect in one of her legs, giving her an uneven gait. It does not seem to bother her, but it was enough to condemn her to death at the pound, and she was very sad in there. Abby gets along well with people and other dogs and is now a happy dog, but she is elderly and special needs since arthritis has begun bothering her. She has been spayed, vaccinated, flea treated, examined, and now loved. To sponsor Abby, please contact: theanimalsleftbehind@socal.rr.com (also our PayPal donation/sponsorship email address)
