Story
Sandy is a wonderful dog who has been a cherished part of our family for the past five years. We adopted her when she was 10, and she has truly lived a happy, loving life. She is a senior dog but still very energetic—she loves people, especially kids, and enjoys running and going on walks. Sandy is house-trained and uses the restroom outside in the yard. She has no medical complications and maintains a healthy diet, though she does have some dental decay due to age. This is an incredibly difficult decision for us. Due to medical complications during my pregnancy, I’ve developed an allergic reaction to her saliva that has caused skin rashes requiring treatment, and I’m unfortunately no longer able to care for her. We love Sandy deeply and want nothing more than for her to go to a safe, loving home where she will continue to be cared for and cherished as she deserves.

give and a gentle soul that truly shines once she bonds with her person. With her gorgeous coloring and affectionate nature, she’s the type of companion who becomes family very quickly. Layla is a social butterfly and gets along wonderfully with other dogs—especially those her size—and would love a canine buddy to run and play with. She has a good amount of energy and would thrive in an active home with a secure, fenced yard where she can stretch her legs and enjoy the outdoors. While she’s still working on perfecting her leash skills, she already knows some basic commands and is both house-trained and crate-trained. What really makes Layla special is her sensitivity and deep emotional awareness. She forms strong bonds with her humans and shows wonderful qualities of a therapy or support dog. Because of this, a home where someone works from home or is around often would be an ideal fit for her. Layla is about 5 years old, weighs around 50 pounds, is healthy, spayed, and fully vaccinated. She is not good with cats, so a cat-free home is a must. If you’re looking for a loyal, loving companion who will return your affection tenfold, Layla may be your perfect match. Missy is a big girl at 80 lbs. but this 3 year old Labrador mix is the sweetest soul. This affectionate and playful girl is always eager to show her love and loyalty. She came to us as a stray and is an intelligent, fun and calm pup. Missy is an adult dog, but she still has some curious playful energy. She is sure to be a wonderful addition to a home looking for a smart, friendly, and affectionate companion. We can't know for certain if our animals are housebroken, but they are kennel trained. If you are not located near our rescue or if the drive is a problem for you, please still apply, as we bring animals out to as far as San Diego in order for bring them to their forever homes. Hello potential new parent for Tempest. He is almost a year and a half old. My ex coworker's dog had a litter and they were having a hard time giving away the puppies so I volunteered to take care of Tempest. I didnt realize I bit off a little more than I can chew so now Im looking for a new home for him. He is sweet, loves to play, is food motivated. Knows some commands with treats, sit, down, paw, middle, cage, bed, inside/outside. He just wants loves and to explore. He is very hyper on walks so it is a challenge for me but with some training he will be better. I dont have the resources to care for him and I feel like he deserves more than what I am able to provide. I will gladly answer any questions you may have and would love to connect Tempest to a new loving home. I look forward to hearing back from you. Take care.
