We welcomed our dog into our family as a purebred Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder, and she is now 5 years old. From the beginning she has shown the classic Labrador traits of energy, enthusiasm, and a natural drive to stay active. She thrives on outdoor adventures such as hiking, going to the beach, and exploring new places. She also absolutely loves playing ball. It is one of her favorite activities and she puts her whole heart into it, showing what a natural athlete she truly is. We are looking for a loving, experienced home where her needs will be fully understood and met. She does best with someone who has dog experience, understands canine behavior, and can provide steady guidance. She bonds strongly with a true leader and feels most secure with consistent structure, affection, and attention. It is crucial to us that her new home embraces her completely. We hope to find someone who can welcome her without limitations or restrictions. She DESERVES the world.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED! Malcolm is a sweet and mellow 2-year-old Lab mix. He's very well socialized, so we think he was kept in somebody's backyard before he was found scavenging for scraps on the street. Neighbors say he had been living for weeks in the area, drinking from the gutter to survive. Malcolm is so friendly, he came right up to us and asked to be saved. We searched for an owner, but without a collar or chip, we didn't have any luck. Now, Malcolm is getting used to living in a house and sleeping on a warm, cozy bed. He's very smart and is responding well to training. He already knows many basic commands. Malcolm is a good boy and walks well on a leash, which is pretty amazing for a big dog! Malcolm likes other dogs and gets along well with dogs in the home as well as those he sees on the street. He's still getting used to cats but should go to a home without cats. Malcolm is super friendly to everyone he meets and loves to cuddle. He'd make a great companion for long walks, jogging or hiking. He really is a great dog! We've had Malcolm examined by our vet, neutered, fully vaccinated and microchipped. Health Condition * Spayed. * Microchipped, and completely recovered from heartworm. 2.) Rescue Story * Yooah was brought to the Gimje City Shelter with her puppies, all in poor health. Yooah suffered from a severe skin condition that weakened her, and unfortunately, some of her puppies passed away. With the harsh winter approaching, Yooah and her remaining puppies were urgently rescued. 3.) Basic Information * With People: Is still getting used to human interaction and finds it challenging to accept touch or approaches. Patience is crucial as she slowly learns to trust and becomes comfortable around people. With familiar people, she approaches first to sniff them and accepts treats. Still flinches when being touched. * With Dogs: When first meeting other dogs, shows a little bit of interest but isn’t proactive in engaging with them. If their energy levels are similar, she sometimes plays with other dogs. She used to be a bit wary of a few of the dogs at the Center, but she hasn’t growled or shown any aggression towards other dogs recently. Gets along especially well with #AdogsWhite. * With Cats: Not confirmed as she hasn't encountered them yet. * Separation Anxiety: Not confirmed yet as she is currently in a group setting at our center. * Potty Training: Does only pottying outdoors at our center. * Hygiene: Has only experienced brushing. She was scared, but docile and took to it well. * Walks: Has started training after being leashed, but still feels uncomfortable with walks. * Car Sickness: Not confirmed yet, but she has no motion sickness while for short car rides. * Biting: Is a completely scaredy-cat, and has never bitten people. Has a single experience of nipping at another dog. * Barking: Frequently barks outdoors or in kennel but stops it when she sees people. If other dogs bark at her, she barks back. * Dislikes: Still feels uncomfortable with touching since she’s scared of people, but it has gotten a lot better and she sometimes even approaches first and accepts treats.
