Story
Poppy is a female lab mix. She is a puppy in a litter of nine. Her estimated dob is 12/25/23. She has been spayed, vaccinated, dewormed, microchipped, is heart worm negative, and on prevention. Poppy is doing well with house training and crate training and will use a doggie door. She is good with other dogs, cats, and kids. Poppy is a super smart and athletic girl. She will climb a 6 foot chain link fence and is fearless. She would do great for someone wanting to train a dog for tricks or agility. To be so fearless and athletic she is a really calm puppy. She gives attention well and waits for direction. She is also a great snuggler. Story
Hey all, I'm Max! I absolutely love to run, jump, chew, lick and just play all the time! I'm not shy at all and will come running up to you and let you know I'm ready to be petted! Because I came to the Shelter when I was a baby, I need help with training (house, leash and crate). But because I'm so clever it won't take any time at all to get me used to living with you in our new fur-ever home. My ONLY flaw is that I don't do well on car rides, I shouldn't eat before a long ride because It won't stay down long. Other than that, you'll be amazed at what a good boy I am! We also use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. They will bring me to a destination near you. They alternate on the weekends between the Northeast and the Midwest.

Story
Blossom is a petite girl with a spunky attitude, who loves to be in the middle of the action. She is pretty nimble for a 6 month old puppy and will chart a path to whatever treat she is after. She loves to give sweet kisses and will, with the slightest encouragement, plop her head on your lap for some ear and head scratches while she gazes up at you. Blossom’s sweet, playful nature helps her get along with every dog she meets. When she’s feeling extra cute, she will pull out her signature diving plop and roll. In new situations, Blossom tends to be timid but with a little coaxing (aka treats) she quickly gains confidence and gets her spunk back. If you have any chew toys lying around, you can be sure that Blossom will make sure they are well-loved. Details: Blossom is crate trained, mostly house trained, spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, microchipped, and on heartworm and flea prevention. She gets along with kids and generally avoids cats. She is working on her basic commands and is up for adoption through Save-A-Stray. Feel free to contact me for more details/questions! Story
This animal is being fostered in the South but transport to a location near you is included in your adoption fee. We use Rescue Riders Pet Transport, (www.rescueridersllc.net), the most animal-friendly transport on the road. This is Sampson-- found abandoned and needs a great home! Has a brother (Goliath) that is also up for adoption! Meet the adorable "Tweedle twins" – Sampson and Goliath. These two are full of playful energy and love to spread joy! The finder discovered these big-hearted boys abandoned, and we estimate their age to be around 3 months. Based on their behavior, it seems they are lab mixes, as they absolutely adore water and gulp down their food (typical lab behavior). At the moment, they weigh close to 20 pounds. Working on potty training and using the doggie door in the rescue's dog run, but puppies take time and patience with this. Goliath is located in East, TN. woofwooffosters.org

Story
Kent was dropped off at our facility by an unknown person. So, we are trying to find a family that will take Kent to love him as he should be loved. He will make a great cuddler too. He's very friendly but a little shy until he gets to know you better. Please consider adoption of Kent for your new family member. He would really make a great addition for anyone's family. He has lots of love to give. He is fully vetted and neutered along with heart worm tested and on flea preventative and microchipped. He's ready to go to his new furever home. We also use the most animal-friendly transport on the road. Rescue Riders Pet Transport. We transport every weekend alternating between the Great Lakes and the Northeast.

Story
Cypress is a sweet, biddable boy who LOVES to give kisses. When your face is remotely near him, he will find a way to give you all the kisses in the world. If you’re looking for a family dog, this is your guy! With his even-tempered personality, he naturally finds a place for himself wherever he goes. Sometimes he loves to be in the middle of the action and other times he is content to observe from the perimeter while chewing on a bone. Cypress loves to play fetch, bonus points if it’s with a squeaky ball. While Cypress does very well with children of all ages, he would do best in a home with older children as he is a good sized dog who is still working on his manners. Cypress is fully house and crate trained and knows sit. Because he loves people so much, Cypress will voice his displeasure when first put in his crate but then will settle down on his own after a few minutes. As of right now, adventuring into the wild blue yonder is not what Cypress was built for as he has a definite skittish side. His favorite place is at home with his humans and he is happiest there. He also prefers settings with ideally one other dog, as large groups of dogs tend to make him more nervous. All said and done, Cypress is an incredibly loving, friendly fella who is longing for a furever couch to call his own and will fill the hole in your heart that you didn’t know you had until you met him. P.S. He also LOVES frozen carrots, strawberries, and blueberries. If you need a buddy, complete an application at https://www.saveastray.org/forms/form?formid=3635. Save a Stray pets are in foster homes. Please complete an application at www.saveastray.org to make arrangements to meet our pets.
