Story
All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Our adoption fees vary. Each biography will specifically list the adoption fee.Adoption Fee: $500 Shiloh is a 2 year old Pug x Chihuahua mix who was rescued from one of our shelter partners. She was surrendered to the shelter because her former family was moving and was no longer able to take care of her how she deserved. She has been absolutely thriving in her foster home and she is now ready to find her happily ever after with her forever family and hopes that that family could be you!   Below is a note from her foster home.   'Shiloh stole our hearts from day one because she gave me kisses like I had known her for years. She is very loving, smart and observant. She understands everything that is said to her and is very friendly to us and new people who take the time to get to know her. She is a huge cuddler and loves snuggling with us in the blanket. She is very food-motivated and loves smelling everything while we are cooking and eating. She has been hiking and has enjoyed exploring nature and the people we encountered. She loves the car and is very observant to know when we are getting ready to head outside. We have even seen her watching the TV with us at night!   Shiloh wakes up around 7 AM and gets some cuddles in before she goes out for a long walk to do her morning business. Shiloh loves being outside and exploring her terrain, so be prepared to learn about nature! Once she comes home, she greets everyone in the house before settling in with her toys after having breakfast. She loves to sit on the balcony and watch the world go by around her. She spends a lot of her day napping or playing with toys while we work. Around 6 PM she gets another walk around the community where she greets other dogs and people happily! She then spends the rest of the night cuddling with us until she goes to bed around 10 PM.    Shiloh has shown herself to be potty trained after a few early accidents. She is great in the crate and settles in without a fuss when we are gone. She would be a great fit for people who are ready for a new BFF! She loves to sleep with her head resting on my forehead, hoping to get some cuddles in. She is the best dog we have fostered for sure!'   Shiloh is an option for just about any home, regardless of experience. Kids in the home should be over the age of 6. September 24, 2023, 12:34 am

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Take me to homecoming! My adoption fee is only $20, until October 1. Hey, I'm Coco. I am a good boy looking for a loving home. Even better, if my new family has experience taking care of Pug type dogs. I may need some time to get used to new people and new places but once I warm up, I am a lovePug (see what I did there;). I enjoy going on long walks followed by quiet time in a yard, or on the sofa. I come from a home where I lived with another dog so I wouldn't mind going to a new place with calm and confident canine role model. Ask to meet me and I know you'll fall in love!
