The Dynamic Duo If you’re looking for the ultimate pair to instantly brighten your home, look no further than Tom and Jerry! These two are the absolute sweetest boys who have never met a stranger. They are incredibly social and will happily rush to the door to say a warm hello to anyone who comes by. While they are a package deal when it comes to affection, they each bring their own unique, delightful personality to the table: Meet Tom: The Gentle Soul Tom is a very sweet, calm, and grounded boy. He is a professional companion whose primary mission in life is to find a cozy spot right next to you. If you are looking for a buddy who just wants to soak up all your love, shower you with affection, and melt into a long cuddle session, Tom is your guy. Meet Jerry: The Life of the Party Jerry is the perfect playful balance to Tom's calm nature! He is pure fun, full of happy energy, and has a hilarious signature move: the moment you look his way, he will immediately flop right onto his back to demand belly rubs. You won't be able to resist his silly antics and joyful spirit. Core Qualities: Social Butterflies: They love everyone they meet and make fantastic hosting assistants for visitors. The Perfect Balance: You get the absolute best of both worlds—Tom’s calm cuddling and Jerry’s playful entertainment. Cuddle Experts: Both boys absolutely live for affection and will happily snuggle up together with you on the couch. Friendly & Ready: They are sweet, silly, playful, and completely ready to find their permanent family.   All dogs/puppies will be spayed/neutered unless spay/neuter contract is signed with additional deposit. Story
Meet Cookie! Cookie is one of those dogs who makes every room feel warmer the moment he hops in—and yes, we mean hops! With the bouncy energy of a little bunny, Cookie zips around the house following his favorite humans, always curious about what you’re up to and ready to join the fun. Personality & Foster Insights The "Social Butterfly" Arc: Cookie has two modes: he starts off adorably shy with new people, but once he warms up, he’s a total firecracker! Watching him come out of his shell is one of the sweetest things you'll ever see. The Shadow: He will follow you from room to room, always charming and always eager to be in the middle of everything. Toy Enthusiast: This boy LOVES squeaky, squishy, fluffy toys. Be warned: he is a professional "de-stuffer"! Cuddle Bug: When the day is done, there’s nothing Cookie loves more than curling up in a lap for a long snooze. Daily Routine & Manners Schedule: He’s a creature of habit! He starts his day at 8 AM with a potty break and breakfast, hangs out comfortably in his playpen from noon to 6 PM, and enjoys dinner at 6 PM. Skills: Cookie is a smart cookie! He already knows his name, sit, down, and come. Leash & Yard: He loves running free in a fenced backyard. He is manageable on a leash, though he’d love a family willing to continue working on his leash manners. Friends & Family Other Dogs: Cookie absolutely lights up around other pups—expect full-body wiggles and non-stop tail wagging. He would thrive in a home with a canine companion or a family that prioritizes socialization. Everyone Else: He is documented as getting along well with cats and kids, making him a versatile addition to many types of homes. Quick Stats Breed: Pug / Chihuahua Mix Age: Approx. 1 year, 6 months Weight: 11 lbs (Perfect lap size!) Health: Neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on shots. ##2218988##

Story
We love Grin's crooked smile  and his super-soft fur. Grin is about 8 years old and currently a bit over 16 pounds. He loves people and is super affectionate with his person; he loves to cuddle and would like a home where he is allowed on the bed. That said, he is not needy and he is crate trained and will sleep quietly all night in his crate. Grin needs an adult home. &#226&#128&#139Grin seems like a cross between a Puggle (Pug/Beagle) and   another breed. He has some of the looks of a Puggle, but not all. Grin lives with 3 other dogs and is great with them. He plays well with his foster sisters and respects the senior dog in the house. He would do fine with other dogs, or as an only dog. He is house trained and knows how to use a dog door. He does need a home with a private yard or patio. Grin doesn't pull on leash and is great on neighborhood walks where other dogs are also on leash. He will bark at off-leash dogs that run towards him, his foster is working on this and he is doing very well, but he does not do well in off-leash dog parks. He is fine meeting new dogs in his home or their home, and has made friends with some dogs he has met on walks (the key is when their people give him treats). If you are looking for love,  Grin may be the guy you are looking for.    Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial veterinary and other expenses in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we request a tax-deductible donation for each adoption. The suggested donation for Grin is $200. If you are interested in adopting Grin, please complete our online adoption application at https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/adoption-process/ . One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, confined to the SF Bay Area. See our other available dogs at  https://www.gratefuldogsrescue.org/available-dogs/ March 7, 2026, 12:47 pm

Story
Would you love an active best friend that could run with you or chase a ball all day? Bowser would love nothing more than to join you on your daily adventures. His foster mom says he has all-day energy, but is happy to chill out for cuddles on the couch as well. He is described as smart and very trainable. Offer him a treat and he will look to please and be your best friend. Bowser would do best in a calm home in a quiet neighborhood. Give this loving guy a chance and you'll get an active best friend for life. Bowser weighs 20 pounds.
