Story
Crosby is being fostered in PA. Crosby is an adorable, blind, male puppy who was born on January 25, 2025. He is a pug and may be a mix but we are not sure. He is a sweet but mischievous, curious little guy who loves to play hard, eat and nap hard. Crosby enjoys the other dogs in his foster home but is a bit much with them so he does not get to spend a lot of time with them just yet. He gets overly excited when getting attention from people and when other dogs are close by and can be playfully nippy, untying shoes and clinging onto pant legs with his teeth. After a few minutes and redirecting his puppy nips, he will calm down to simply sit beside his person. Crosby can go up stairs very well but has no idea about how to come back down just yet. Crosby should not be in a home with very young children, as his puppy play still needs to be redirected to nipping on toys and not hands, hair, etc. Crosby will be having his right eye removed on May 23rd and will be ready to find his adoptive home as soon as he recovers from that surgery. Crosby will need work on potty training but currently does well traveling in a crate and has never soiled in it so this is a good start to his training. Crosby will need a patient family to help him learn proper play skills and to help him with potty training. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
I have 2 pugs Russell and Milo from the same litter. They are house trained and very sweet. They have been together since birth so I would like someone who would like to adopt them both. They are playful and cuddly and perfect nap partners. I am unable to give them the attention they deserve because of my busy work schedule. They were born on February 2nd 2019 and are 6 years old.

Story
Bing is being fostered in PA, Bing is both blind and deaf. Bing is a blind and deaf little girl who was born on January 25, 2025. She is most likely a pug mix but we are not sure. A special adopter will be needed in order to help this bit of a wild child, as she needs to use touch, smell and taste to hear and explore her surroundings, people and other animals. At this time, it makes her wiggly and playfully nippy (and the nips can hurt) to hold until her excitement calms. This behavior will pass as she is helped by a patient family, she matures and becomes more familiar with how to appropriately get to know her surroundings. Aside from her overly excited behavior when around new people and things, she is a typical adorable puppy who loves to play, eat and sleep. Bing should not be in a home with very young children because of her tendency to mouth as she investigates her world. Bing will also need a very patient fur sibling because she is overly playful with other dogs and cannot hear their warnings to "back off". So far she has been indifferent with cats but the two in her foster home keep their distance at this time. She may be able to see light and dark and seems to be completely deaf. She will be having one of her eyes removed on May 23rd. After about 2 weeks recovery time, she will be all ready for adoption. BDRA has voted against the use of electrical fencing effective immediately.

Story
Seven-year-old Peggy is outgoing, energetic, confident, and a total boss babe. Despite being blind, she has no problem with taking charge and making her opinions known! Peggy navigates her foster home with ease and enjoys spending time with people, other dogs, and cats. Her favorite activities include following her people around the house, playing and cuddling with other dogs, chasing balls, chewing on toys, and going for walks. When it’s time to recharge, she snoozes soundly in her crate and snores loudly. She is housetrained, can use a doggie door, and eats her meals politely. Peggy requires daily eye drops to keep her peepers feeling fresh. Her ideal forever family will provide her with plenty of companionship from people and other dogs, and create a safe environment with her visual impairment in mind. Story
fter spending most of her life outside in Mexico and having her medical needs neglected, five-year-old Harper is now showing her cuddly, affectionate, and silly side! Her former medical issues, including pelvic fractures and a hernia, have now healed and she is enjoying a more active lifestyle. Harper’s favorite activities include playing with her blankets and bedding, snuggling with her stuffed elephant, following her foster mom and foster pug siblings around the house, running and jumping, chasing small wildlife in the yard, going for walks, and sleeping in bed with her foster mom at night. She is making great progress with her housetraining and crate training. With her challenging former life in mind, Harper’s forever family will provide her with love, care, and reassurance, help her build her confidence, and understand that she gets skittish around loud noises. Having another friendly and confident dog in the home may help her to come out of her shell and adapt to her new life.
