Story
Carina Dee is a sweet, happy, Pugalicious little girl with a big love for life. She adores toys, chew bones and exploring her yard, and - most of all - snuggling with her humans. A true cuddlebug, she is happiest curled up in your lap, showering you with kisses. Carina Dee is crate trained and will happily go to her crate when called, sleeping quietly through the night close to her foster mom. She is very proud of her outdoor potty progress, though her house training is still a work in progress. Affectionately known as "Sweet Dee", she will thrive as an only pup where she can soak up all the love, but she may also do well with another dog her size and similar age. If you are looking for a cuddly, fun, and devoted companion, Sweet Dee is your girl! Please submit your application, and an adoption counselor will contact you.

Story
My name is Ozzie, and I am 1.5 years old. 16 lb Pug. Before I cam to Humane Tomorrow, I was living with 5 other Pugs, all relatives of some kind, together in a house. We never went outside of the house, and I know now what a mess and how unhealthy that was. Now I am in a foster home, with other dogs, but we go outside into a yard, and my foster family has been teaching me what doggies are supposed to do. I’ve learned a lot in the last few weeks, but still have more to learn. I’m a little mouthy – using my mouth and teeth sometimes (just to play), but still probably not a good fit with young kids. I’ve discovered that I especially like to play tug with my people, but sometimes I get a little overstimulated when I play. So, just let me win and call the game! I get along well with the other dogs in the household most of the time, and have discovered I like to chew on nylabones. I like to sit with my people, cuddling with them and sometimes I like to get up high on the top of chairs so I get a view of everything around me. I am still getting used to this thing around my neck (collar) and walking on a leash, but I like it in my foster home with all the attention I’m getting. I am crate trained, but any new home will need to continue my house training. I’ve been wearing a belly band while I figure things out. If you are interested in me, please complete an application and one of the adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
Nothing is more fun than a Pug!!! Colby (alias Cheesehead – IYKYK) is a silly, fun dog that loves attention. When he came into his foster home, he was at first a little hesitant, but he got over that quickly and his cuddly personality is coming out. He loves to be around people, following his foster parents around the house and yard. He is not into toys as much as the other pugs in the household, but he does like chewies (nylabones and benebones). He gets along with the other dogs most of the time (occasionally he and his brother – we think- Ozzie get into a tiff – a bit of sibling rivalry), but he gets along with all the other dogs in the home, sometimes playing chase. Colby is more of a follower than a leader and as such would do better in a home with another confident dog, or someone who has experience with dogs and their training. He is still adjusting to new things (like big trucks driving by, sirens, watching birds and squirrels, hearing the grandfather clock). Colby is one of 6 pugs that Humane Tomorrow took in who had little socialization or exposure to the outside world. He is learning about everything at breakneck speed and figuring out what it all means. He is a little cutie that just wants to be loved. We are working on house training, walking on a leash and other basic commands. Whoever adopts Colby will need to continue these lessons. If you are interested in Colby, please complete an application and one of our adoption counselors will contact you.

Story
7-year-old Legend is a sweet, easygoing fawn boy with a playful spark and a heart full of love. He adapts quickly to new people and places, enjoys playtime, and then happily settles in for cozy cuddles—especially on the couch or by your feet. Legend is house-trained, leash-trained, and a respectful eater with no food aggression. He’s free-roam trustworthy and sleeps soundly in bed with his humans. He enjoys plush toys (especially Lamb Chop!), puzzle toys, snuffle mats, and a good chew like a Nylabone. He does well with cats. He would do well in a home as either an only dog or with canine companions, and would thrive with someone who enjoys a relaxed, affectionate companion. He hasn’t met children yet but has a gentle, adaptable nature. He may need occasional eye lubricant, and sometimes bunny hop if his back legs feel weak while they regain strength. If you’re looking for a loving, low-key best friend—Legend lives up to his name. ****** All of our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. We adopt to all lower 48 states, but adopters must travel to Texas for pickup. Puppies younger than 6 months are not eligible for out-of-state adoption. Story
10-month-old Fresa is a tiny, fawn pug mix girl with a playful, friendly spirit and a heart full of love. She enjoys romping with other dogs, playing with stuffy toys, and chewing on her favorite bones. This little lady is about 95% house-trained, uses the dog door, and walks fairly well on leash. She’s not crate-trained and is free to roam when home alone. Fresa gets very excited at mealtime (in the cutest way!) and may check out other bowls once they’re finished, but she has no food aggression. Fresa absolutely loves other playful dogs and would thrive in a home with a young canine companion to match her energy. She’d likely do well with kids and a family ready for puppy fun. Sweet as her name, Fresa is ready to steal your heart—apply today! ******* All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area. Story
3-year-old Pierogi is a playful, affectionate tan-and-black pug mix with the cutest little “boots” on all four feet! This joyful guy is always ready for adventure, whether it’s meeting new dog friends, going for walks, riding in the car, or launching himself into your arms for cuddles. He loves gathering his toys into his favorite spot—wherever you are. Pierogi is doing great with house training—already about 90% house-trained and continuing to make great progress. He walks beautifully on leash, and sleeps well in his crate, though he’d much rather be curled up snuggling in bed with you. He gets along wonderfully with dogs of all sizes and has learned to peacefully coexist with cats. Pierogi would thrive in a loving home that can continue his training and provide patience, reassurance, and plenty of companionship. Life’s better with a little Pierogi by your side—apply today for this stuffed-with-love sweetheart! ******* All our pugs are fostered throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth, TX area.
