Story
Sweet precious Bunny, known as Nova by her foster family is ready for her happy ever after. This beautiful girl is a four month old rottie mix who joined us with her brother, Thumper. These babies came from unspeakable conditions. Nova is 4 months old and probably the best puppy you will ever meet.  She craves being near her family, loves playing with other dogs, and is about 95% potty trained. Nova loves a good sunspot and enjoys running around with the kids in the household.  If you lay down on the floor next to her, you will be showered in puppy kisses and snuggles.  She sleeps through the night in her crate.  Nova is currently learning sit, stay, down, and off.  She also has the absolute BEST wiggly butt!  Unless you have a very assertive cat, I would say no cats as she gets way too excited, wanting to befriend a kitty. Story
Hello there, my name is Dory! I'm looking for a quiet place to call my own where I can learn to love a new family. Since being here, I've been kind of nervous. It takes me awhile to warm up to new people and situations. But once I open up, I'm a sweet girl who loves giving affection. I've gotten along with other dogs while being here, in fact the companionship really helps me open up! When going to a new home, I'll need some time to get used to my surroundings. I promise, if you love me and give me time, I'll love you just as much and then some! Just call me a timid girl waiting for a family to see what a great doggie I can be! Come by the ARL today and I can show you what a good girl I am! Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: Brown Weight: 56 Age: 5yrs 0mths 2wks

Story
Stormi is as curious as a cat in a Rottweiler sized body. Her foster family says they have Stormi-proofed their home for this lovable, loyal, and very sweet girl. It is a fine balance of being firm but loving. Stormi had not been a family member in her last home. She was crated for long periods of time or left in a backyard. She has acclimated to our home and is still working on her manners with good progress. No one will ever convince her she is not a lap dog. She does the Rottweiler lean and melts to the floor for a belly rub if you gain her trust. Human food makes her eyes glaze over and her manners disappear. She has improved but it is a work in progress. Patience and consistency is vital. Stormi needs daily walks, play and attention. She is housebroken, and very food motivated. Peanut butter is her favorite. She is aloof with strangers. Guests may or may not be greeted easily - best not to overwhelm her. Older children 8 years & up and those with dog experience would be ideal. She is not reactive to other dogs on walks or when they visit our home. Stormi is a bit unpredictable though and we have been careful with introductions, both canine and human. Slow introductions and awareness of Stormi's mood / anxiety is necessary. The best match for Stormi is a calm home that can put her needs first. Experience with the breed would be ideal, however we had zero experience and she is doing well. It just takes patience, kindness and love. She is very grateful when given those key things and, of course, peanut butter.

Story
King is a 3-year-old fun boy who never met a stranger. He's a good-natured soul, somewhat of a silly goofball! King is pretty large, because based on his DNA test, he is mixed with the Mastiff breed. King's superpower is catching treats on the fly...well, kind of. King came to us Heartworm Positive, but he has completed the treatment and is ready to go! He is fostered in a multi-dog house, but because of the time spent on his treatment, he is just starting to socialize and adores other dogs. He did well on his shelter dog Meet. He's just an easy-going boy. In his spare time, King enjoys playing fetch as well as watching TV while playing with his toys. He especially enjoys watching the Phillies and the Eagles! Due to his size, and the fact that he does jump on people at times out of excitement, elderly/young kids are not a good fit. Cats...no idea! If you'd like to be considered for this big, handsome lug, just go to www.kodisclub.org/applications to help us determine if you are a good fit.

Story
Two year old Harley has just completed a Board and Train program and did quite well. She worked with multiple trainers and training assistants and had a good relationship with each of them. We included the lead trainer's feedback below as they know her best. Harley will need a home that can meet her needs for activity and structure: "Harley is a ton of fun, She has VERY high energy & can be a bit silly but that’s her personality. I would say an ideal home for Harley would be with somebody who lives a very active lifestyle. She is always wanting to move and stretch those legs. Small children (mainly under 13) in a home with her likely aren’t ideal due to her hyperactivity and strength. She’s a strong girl who loves to jump around, I would be concerned with her knocking small children over. She is very social with the dogs that come to our enrichment program. We have been working on teaching her social skills by coaching her while she interacts with dogs so that she can have a more gentle approach. I think she could live in a home with another dog who matches her activity needs. Harley's adopter should be someone who is willing to give her structure throughout her day. When she gets bored she gets barky & tries to find something to do. She doesn't realize she needs time to shut off and relax. We have been working a lot on that off-switch with her through our place command and tether sessions. . As important as it is that we do our part teaching her how to be bored, I think it's just as important her future owner keeps up with it as well". If approved to adopt her, her trainer will spend time with her new family showing them the strategies that worked with this cutie pie. The first step is to submit the application on our website at www.kodisclub.org/applications.
