She will be 8 years in May and has learned to potty for the most part outside. She gets along great with other dogs but would do best in a quiet enviornment. Heidi came to us pregnantand has done more than her share of time being used as a machine. With Heidi you will see the love that she can bring and she would love to snuggle in bed if you let her.She is fixed and up to date and has had a dental,she has her rabies as well as a microchip. A little love goes a long way and this old dog still has new tricks to learn as every day is a new adventure for her. Meet Miss Marla. Marla is a 4 year old teddy bear mix. I believe she is part lhasa apso, and she is smart and sweet and playful. Marla had a rocky start to her life so far but she is resilient! When I first got her, she didn't know what stairs were. In three weeks she has learned to go up and down stairs, sometimes reluctantly, and she will signal that she needs to go outside by going to the door. Marla is very laid back and quiet, she is not a barker. She does have a bit of a stubborn streak, so sometimes you have to work with that to get her to do things. But she is trainable! Name: Buddy Valentine Sex: Male Breed: Lhasa Apso Age: 2 years old (as of April) Color: Cream and Golden Weight: 19.4 lbs Neutered: January 8, 2026 Buddy Valentine is a wonderful foster pup who truly lives up to his name. He is incredibly affectionate and has warm kisses for everyone he meets. He gets along well with female dogs; however, his behavior toward male dogs can be a bit snarky. Behavior toward cats is unknown. According to his paperwork, he was raised with children. I would recommend he either be an only dog or have a female friend. Older children six and above ok. He seems to have a sensitive throat area as he does not tolerate a collar, so a harness is a must. He is very playful and enjoys throwing his bones and soft toys around, though bully sticks are his favorite. Buddy loves running in the yard, but because he may be prone to running away if given the chance, a fully fenced yard is required. Currently, he sleeps in bed with me but is crated when I am away. Meet Audrey Griswold a lhapso apso/Teddy Bear She was rescued from a puppy mill just before Christmas. She has made great progress and is ready for her forever home. She is still a little scared, but she follows me everywhere, cuddles with me and my dogs. She is silly, happy, food motivated and just a joy to be around! She’s 4, about 12 pounds, fully vetted and cute as can be! She potty’s outside with the rest of the dogs, but will have accidents on occasion. Considering the horrible life she came from she is just doing spectacularly! I think she would do well in a home with another dog and older kids. A fenced yard would be preferred.
