Meet RJ, a certified fuddy duddy. This sweet senior Shih Tzu mix weighs about 15 lbs, so he's the perfect size for snuggling and carrying around. His back legs don't work perfectly anymore and he's almost completely blind, but he doesn't let that stop him from charging around at full speed, seeking out smells that make him happy. His very favorite thing in the world is laying in a comfortable, familiar spot and letting the world go by. He's fully potty trained and hasn't had any accidents in his foster home. Although he does fine in a crate, he's past the stage of being interested in antics and can be trusted outside his crate. He gets along with other dogs unless they get in his face and he finds it necessary to stand his ground, but would also do well as an only dog. Upon receipt of the completed application, we will process the application including: contact with your veterinarian and completion of a home visit.
