  Meet Bernard. Affectionately known as Bernie ! He is a 10 mo old lab shitzu mix who is full grown at 16 pounds. Bernard the great is a low-energy, affectionate pup, ready to snooze on your lap. What he lacks in speed and reflexes, he makes up for in kisses and cuddles. He prefers short walks and long naps! He would do well in a home with a fenced yard as the potty process can take a bit. We are working on walking on leash, but this pup far prefers couch surfing! Bernard does well in the crate and continues to improve his potty-training skills with consistent supervision. (only one accident so far). He is approximately 10 months old and weighs 16lbs. He is timid but overall does well with other dogs. This dreamy little bundle of love would thrive in a many households but especially a chill one!! Foster Update: "Here is what I know about them so far : 1. They Love their little crate they came in with . They want to be in there together 70 percent of the time. 2. Gino is more adventurous. 3. They are mostly potty trained . They go out to the yard and use the bathroom . They also use the pee pads . Gino will occasionally mark , but not terrible. 4. They used to bark and growl at my dogs in their crate whenever they saw them. I've been doing slow intros and they now are totally fine with them . They were just scared . I'd recommend slow intros and no teenage dogs /jumpy mouthy dogs for them. My Tilly (formally your Tilly ) 85 pound dog used to be so scared of them 😂 Now she's getting better :) They are such great easy dogs . They really love each other , so may be a bonded pair , but they are so little it's easy having two."
