Story
Meet Jax Teller!  This adorable boy is one of a kind.  He is good with other dogs (video attached).  He loves Humans.  We found him wondering the street in a very busy neighborhood.  He was scared and timid at first.  As you can see this boy is a HAM!  Loves going for walks.  Loves to play and goof around.  Great in a crate and leash.  Currently lives with a foster.  He would be perfect for any style of living.   Why adopt from Texas? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future. An opportunity to be loved and cared for by good and loving families. There is a reason why we make the trip to your area every two weeks. You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them.We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received. If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716Our adoption fee includes transport. Story
Hi.  My name is Bubbles.  My story begins the day a car hit me.  I had a broken leg and was scared.  Someone found me and I become part of the rescue.  I spent months at the vet recovering from my injury and an infection.  I spent so muich time in boarding and it was very lonely.   I find myself a bit unsure about other dogs.  I forgot how to introduce myself to them.  I get really excited when seeing humans and sometimes tend to jump (I'm working on this).  I am looking for someone who is going to love me.  I am not perfect, but have such potential to become the best pet ever!!!!  I am walk well on a leash.  I am housebroken.  I have been in a walk in kennel most of the time.  I will do anything for a piece for vienna sausages or treats.  Are you open to adopting someone like me???? We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. Our application review takes about 10 days.  This adoption process will require 3 videos of (outside of your home, backyard, and inside of your home) since we are not able to conduct home checks at this time. We will be calling 2 references (Not related to you please). We will be contacting your veterinarian (We work with 1st time owners) to make sure you have vaccinated all your pets yearly, and that all have been spayed/neutered. Our transport company leaves Houston every 2 weeks for Oregon, Idaho, Washington, Colorado & Canada. We will book your baby as soon as adoption & transport fees have been received.  If you have fallen madly in love and would like to make this baby part of your family, then go to https://www.petstablished.com/organization/920716    ##1611748##

NAME: Ellen Ripley LITTER: She is part of our "Alien" litter AGE/GENDER: Baby (born 10/31/2022), Female BREED: Pit Bull Terrier/Lab mix (MANY PUPPIES IN RESCUE DO NOT HAVE PARENTS SO THEIR BREED IS UNKNOWN) TEMPERAMENT: Playful and mischievous ESTIMATED ADULT WEIGHT: 40-50 lbs    HOUSE TRAINING: Not yet! She is a baby so she'll need a consistent schedule with multiple opportunities daily to go outside while she works on it. Puppies should not be considered reliable in regard to housetraining until 6-12 months of age. They're a lot like toddlers, who require diapers! CRATE TRAINING: Good, she's young and trainable! OTHER DOGS: Good! She will need continued socialization, like all puppies! CATS: Unknown. Continued socialization will be important! CHILDREN: Dog-respectful children, 8 and older ADOPTION DONATION: $600.00 HEALTH: Ellen is healthy! Prior to adoption, puppies will be altered, microchipped, flea treated, and dewormed. Puppies are given vaccination boosters in our care; however, adoptive families will be responsible for the remaining vaccinations that puppies need. Your adoption donation goes toward the cost of this vet care as well as transportation and general care costs.  HISTORY: Motley Zoo Animal Rescue was asked to find her a great forever family and that is exactly what we plan to do! NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Ellen is a puppy so she's playful and has a lot of puppy energy! She is super cute and fun, but a lot of work. Her forever family should be committed to lots of training - obedience, housetraining, and socialization. This will ensure that she grows into a confident, well behaved adult! Puppies' personalities are dependent on their environment, and the structure and training they are given, in addition to socialization. Their personalities continue to grow and be shaped by their new adoptive families. Puppy daycare and socialization classes or puppy kindergarten are highly recommended for their personal development. He will more than reward you for all your hard work with lots of love, loyalty, and laughs.   All dogs adopted from Motley Zoo come with a leash and either a Martingale collar or a harness, depending on each dog's particular needs.   Welcome to Motley Zoo Animal Rescue. NOTES FROM FOSTER HOME: Jonathan is a snuggle bug and loves to play with the resident dog in his foster home. He will wrestle and do zoomies for hours on end, and then is content to snuggle up on the couch or bed. He will follow you around the house and curl up at your feet when you sit down. He's almost there with house training and has learned to paw at the door when he wants to go out - whether that's to actually go potty, or just to play! He is making great progress with leash training and has learned "sit" just by watching the resident dogs in the foste home - smart boy! Jonathan is an affectionate boy, with both dogs and humans. He recently met children and was a bit unsure about them, but he enjoyed when they were quieter and approached him calmly.
