Story

Sunday has had incidents with other dogs. He has been bitten before, unprovoked. It is not difficult to separate him from other dogs. He has barked but never shown teeth or growled. He warms up easily and within minutes to people and kids. He lives with a 6 year old child. He loves to be active and take walks and runs or play fetch. He jumps and lunges at people and other animals. Mostly out of curiosity and friendliness. He is not necessarily aggressive in these moments. He will pull to sniff someone or a dog. Sunday will lay in bed with you all night or sleep without incident in his crate. Sunday requires a lot of attention and work to be his best. He is young and will do best as the only dog because his behavior towards other dogs is somewhat unpredictable. We have not had time to properly train him and that is our fault. We cannot give him the attention he deserves due to our own personal circumstances.

She would love a family that has a home and yard to explore and play in. She enjoys walks, cuddling on the couch, and treats! She is extremely sweet and her favorite things are walks with her person, pets and cuddles. Little Mama prefers to be the only pet in the home so no other dogs or cats. She can walk fine around other dogs (walks or hikes) just as long as they are not in her personal space/within touching distance. She is UTD on her shots, microchipped and spayed. He is sweet, fun loving and a playful boy! He would love his forever home to be an active family who would take him for walks and on adventures. Ralphie will thrive in a home that can continue basic obedience with him. Ralphie can do well with other dogs, and we will want to meet the other dogs in his forever home to make sure it’s a great fit! We do not think he would do well with a dominant male, but neutral dogs 35lbs and up ok! He is our longest resident and has been looking for his forever home with our rescue for almost 6 YEARS! Ben is a really sweet boy who bonds deeply to his people and is very loyal. He needs room to roam and play and is best suited for life in a quieter area. He will need a home in a suburban or rural neighborhood with a securely fenced yard. He is not an apartment or city dog. He would love nothing more than to take long walks with his owner and then cuddle up inside on a warm bed. Ben LOVES treats and would enjoy lounging around the house with a nice bone. He has been DNA tested and is a major mutts with lots of breeds! (Pitbull, Herding breeds, Chow, American Bulldog and German Shepherd!) Huck is living in a loving foster home and this is what his foster mom has to say about him! Don't be fooled by Huck's serious face and dramatic eyeliner - he's no drama queen. He's more of a Prince Charming :) Extreme cuddlebug: loves to loll his head into yours while you're on the sofa together, or when you're driving. Wants to sleep on the pillows curled up right next to you. Will put his paws on you for pets and hugs. Food motivated: he does best with a slow feeder toys for meals and loves treats for training! Active and agile: when he gets the zoomies, he races from bed to sofa to bed to sofa. Parkour parkour! Dog friendly: Loves to with his dog friends! He would love another dog friend in the home. Bonds deeply with his person and will look for them, stand by them, follow them from room to room, and does a great recall for that person. Forever home needed for this sweet boy! Baron has been waiting for his forever home for 4 years with us! He is now in a loving foster home and has been a great house guest! Baron is an 80-90lb big hunk of love, male Pit Bull. He is super strong, energetic and goofy. Here is what his foster family has to say about him! ‘He loves the yard and having a house to roam around whenever he wants. He sleeps in the bed with his foster parents at night. During the day he stays gated in the kitchen while they are away at work, and spends his days sleeping quietly while they are gone. He is house-trained, and not destructive! He doesn't bark at anyone coming in the door. His leash manners have improved drastically. He loves lounging on the couch and stretching on the floor. He has the best dinner manners and sits and waits for his bowl to be put down. He is eager to learn, so attentive and is an absolute people pleaser.‘ Baron loves to go for walks, run around and play in his kiddie pool with water. Baron is a large boy and very strong and will require a family that is experienced with bullies and or large breeds. Baron is not good with other dogs and since he is so strong and large, will need a family that will keep him safe and be diligent about keeping him away from other dogs. He is not very reactive though and can be polite and walk fine when seeing other dogs on walks. We recommend kids over 16 in the home or an adult only home. No cats. Baron will need a fenced yard since he is energetic and loves to run around. Baron is UTD on shots, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $300.
