Story
Introducing Jackson, or as we like to call him, Jack Teller - a true survivor who has overcome countless obstacles in his journey. Imagine finding him at an intersection, abandoned and scared, anxiously waiting for his owners to return. It breaks your heart, doesn't it? But don't worry, this story has a happy ending. Despite his rough start, Jack Teller has blossomed into a remarkable companion. Like any dog, he was initially wary of new faces, but it didn't take long for him to realize that there are kind-hearted souls out there who only want to shower him with love and affection. And boy, did he surprise us all! Jack Teller turned out to be the friendliest pup around, melting hearts left and right with his warm greetings and wagging tail. He's not just good with people, but dogs too - a true social butterfly! If you're looking for a hiking buddy or simply a furry friend to join you on leisurely strolls, Jack Teller is your guy. He absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the great outdoors. Plus, he's a pro when it comes to crate training. Talk about an all-around good boy! But here's the best part - this gentle soul is a hidden treasure, waiting to be discovered by the perfect forever family. We believe that every dog deserves a loving home, and Jack Teller is no exception. That's why we make regular trips to the Pacific Northwest, including a special stop in Bellingham, WA, just for our Canadian friends. If you're interested in adopting Jack Teller or want to find out more about him, head over to www.springbranchrescue.org. Don't miss out on the chance to welcome this incredible pup into your life. Trust us, it'll be a decision you won't regret. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for . We believe in our local and out of state applicants.  There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them.  No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest or Canada we welcome you!  Thank you for considering to adopt and not shop.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you are able to see our posts.  Unfortunatelly Meet & Greets have been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions.  Almost all our animals traveling have been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.  Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue ##1714321##

Story
HI - I'M SWEET LIZA! I am a beautiful 1-year-old black-and-white Pit mix! I weigh only 49 lbs. I was rescued from a California shelter, where I had multiple kennel mates. I got along with most of them, but I got a bit protective of my food at times - mainly because I was hungry! I'm a small pittie girl who will make a lovely addition to a person, people or family with older kids. Please email for an application.

Story
Little Mama is a sweet and lovable pittie mix. She is ~3 years old and weighs around 45 lbs. Little Mama would love to find her forever family so she can have endless pets and romps around her very own yard! Little Mama bonds to her people and will love her forever family very deeply. She would love a family that has a home and yard to explore and play in. She enjoys walks, cuddling on the couch, and treats! She is extremely sweet and her favorite things are walks with her person, pets and cuddles. Little Mama prefers to be the only pet in the home so no other dogs or cats. She can walk fine around other dogs (walks or hikes) just as long as they are not in her personal space/within touching distance. She is UTD on her shots, microchipped and spayed. Her adoption fee is $250.

Story
Dozer is a super sweet, spunky and happy 1 1/2-2year old, 60-65lb Bully mix who is looking for his forever home! Dozer LOVES people and would love a family that likes to be active with him, then chill and give him lots of pets and cuddles. He loves to run around and play, and needs a fenced yard in his forever home. Dozer needs some continued support with basic obedience. He is a happy boy who doesn’t know quite how to control his excitement at times! We are looking for free standing homes ideally, no apartments. Dozer is still working on his doggie socialization skills and can be reactive with other dogs. We are looking for a home where he can be the only dog and a family that can safely continue socialization for him. Due to his size and strength he needs to have a home with kids over 12. Please apply on our website to foster or adopt. He is UTD on shots, neutered and microchipped. His adoption fee is $300.

Story
Baron is an 80-90lb big hunk of love, male Pit Bull. He is super strong, energetic and goofy. Baron loves to go for walks, run around and play in his kiddie pool with water. Baron is a large boy and very strong and will require a family that is experienced with bullies and or large breeds. Baron can be playful and rambunctious at time and will need a family that will work on basic obedience training with him. He is working on not pulling on a leash and not jumping when he is excited. He is a sweet boy and can be relaxed once he has had some good exercise. Baron is not good with other dogs and since he is so strong and large, will need a family that will keep him safe and be diligent about keeping him away from other dogs. He is not very reactive though and can be polite and walk fine when seeing other dogs on walks. We recommend kids over 16 in the home or an adult only home. No cats. Baron will need a fenced yard since he is energetic and loves to run around. Baron is UTD on shots, microchipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $300.

Story
Meet Johnny! Johnny is a great little guy. He is a 1.5- to 2-year-old, pit/dachshund mix who weigh about 45 lbs. He's got the cutest, sweetest personality. He's a big dog in a tiny package. His ideal home would be a home where he can run and play with another dog, play fetch, go on adventures and get tons of snuggles. No small children, and no cats or small critters. If you love a Velcro dog, then Johnny is your dog. He is housetrained but he can mark. He currently lives in a home with lots of other dogs and we are hoping getting him into a home with just one other dog will help curb this behavior. He's fully vetted, including neuter. He is being fostered in Shelton, WA.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED: Meet Ralphie! He is a 4.5-year-old, 50lb, Pit Bull/Border Collie mix. This boy is just a hunk of love and look at that adorable smile!. He is sweet, fun loving and a playful boy! He would love his forever home to be an active family who would take him for walks and on adventures. Ralphie will thrive in a home that can continue basic obedience with him. Ralphie can do well with other dogs, and we will want to meet the other dogs in his forever home to make sure it’s a great fit! We do not think he would do well with a dominant male, but neutral dogs 35lbs and up ok! Ralphie can be a bit of an escape artist so he will need a free-standing home with a securely fenced yard in suburban or rural neighborhood. Ralphie is microchipped, up to date on his vaccinations and will be neutered prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $400.

Story
Meet Poncho.  This adorable gentle giant is a sweetheart!  He is playful and loving.  This boy can make friends easily.  He is still young and has plenty of energy to play around.  He is good on the leash, and sometimes tends to pull a little if something catches his eye.  He needs an active family and a fenced backyard.  He will transition easily in to any family. Poncho was found wondering the streets and almost hit by a car.  He was so happy to have been rescued.  He has been amazing at his foster mom's home.  He is ready to have a family of his own.   Poncho is currently in a foster home in Houston, but transport is available to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  He is just waiting to catch your eye! www.springbranchrescue.org for adoption info and fees. We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Due to Covid 19 restrictions all Meet & Greets have been cancelled to keep everyone safe. Our adoptable pets are in Houston living with local foster families making the transition into your household a whole lot easier. ##1653082##
