Story
Foster Update:  Emma has been such a pleasure to foster! She’s a great size around 35lbs and is a pretty easy-going dog with good manners. She loves nothing more than cuddling up next to you on the couch. She loves people and bonds deeply with her person - whoever is lucky enough to adopt her will have the most loyal and loving companion. Emma is very treat-motivated and eager to learn, so she’s been a lot of fun to train with. When we’re out and about, she walks well on leash. At home, she enjoys playing with toys, hanging out with the family and being around our two male resident dogs. We also fostered a small-breed dog and the two of them got along phenomenally. She has shown just a bit too much prey drive toward our cats, so we think she will do best in a cat free home.  Emma is fully crate trained. She sleeps quietly through the night in her crate, though in the evenings she usually politely asks if she can get on the bed instead. When we leave the house, she can be vocal in her crate (something we’re currently working on), so she would do best in a single family home.   Emma is a wonderful, friendly dog with a lot of love to give. She’s not high energy, apart from the occasional zoomies, but she’s always down for adventures. She wants to be close and we’re hoping to find a family for her that can fulfill her mental, physical and cuddle needs.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations per AVMA standards, heartworm test if applicable, microchip with registration, and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as DGS is a 501c3 organization. All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs in our rescue.  Apply Online: www.DogGoneSeattle.org/adoption-application Animal History:  This dog was transferred from Caddo Parish animal shelter in Shreveport Louisiana and arrived in Seattle via Tail Lights Rescue Project on September 15th, 2025.  January 4, 2026, 3:10 pm

Story
Animal Information: Petunia is an estimated 7-month old female pittie mix currently weighing approximately 40 lbs. According to our rescue partner in Tulsa, OK, Petunia is the sweetest, happy go lucky girl that gets along great with everybody. She is submissive, playful and curious. She was found wandering the streets as a stray. After no one claimed her, she went into a foster home and now will be joining us here in the Seattle area. Foster Profile:   Petunia is doing wonderfully and has settled beautifully into family life. She is spayed, fully crate trained with no whining, sleeps through the night, and can be left crated during the day when properly exercised. She enjoys long walks on leash and has excellent manners. Petunia loves people and is especially fond of kids. Because she can be jumpy when excited, she would do best with slightly older children. She is shy and submissive with other dogs and prefers gentle, canine companions. Once she is all comfortable she loves to play, she just needs a moment to warm up. She is a very fun, high-energy girl who also knows how to settle and relax with her family. Petunia would thrive in an active home and would strongly prefer a home with a garden or yard where she can run and play. She loves yard time, living room play, long walks, and being close to her people.  Overall, she is a super sweet, joyful companion who will make a great addition to an active family or person.   Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $575 which includes spay/neuter, core vaccinations Rabies and DPPV per AVMA standards, any indicated preventative care, heartworm test, microchip with lifetime registration, and recent health check with a veterinarian. Adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a 501c3 organization (ID 81-5101166). Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog was transferred from our rescue partner  in Tulsa, OK. He will be transferred via Furry Freight, arriving to foster care on 11/16/2025 and available for adoption in the greater Seattle area once evaluated in foster care.December 16, 2025, 5:16 pm

Story
Meet Taylor! Taylor is just six months old and has already faced more than his share of hard days. One of our volunteers spotted him while driving to the kennel—at first she thought the brown shape in the road was a wild animal, but it was a puppy, belly-crawling across the two-lane highway. Before she could even step out of her van, Taylor jumped right in, as if he knew he was finally safe. Now safe at the rescue, Taylor is showing his sweet (and very puppy-ish) personality. He’s malnourished and needs some TLC to get him healthy and ready for his forever home. We’re still getting to know him, but early signs suggest he’d do best in a foster home without other pets while we learn more about his preferences. If you can give this brave little survivor a safe place to rest and heal, please fill out a foster application today at RedWagginRescue.org. The sooner he’s in a loving home, the sooner his hard days will be behind him. ******************************************************************** ADOPTION INFO Dog adoption fees include: - All Basic Dog Vaccinations - Rabies - Bordetella - Flea & Tick Treatment - Spay (Up to $400) - Neuter (Up to $300) - Microchip & Registration All adoption fees go toward the care of all dogs and cats in our rescue. To apply for a specific dog with Bulldog Haven NW rescue or submit a general application, please visit https://bulldoghavennw.org/apply/ Meet Fergus, a 7-year-old, 60-pound bundle of bulldog charm who is looking for a patient, understanding home. Fergus can be shy and reserved around new people and other dogs, so he thrives best with very slow introductions, or even better, in a home with no other pets and minimal visitors. Once he feels safe, he is an absolute sweetheart who adores being near his favorite humans. If you are hoping for a loyal, laid-back companion rather than an exercise partner, Fergus might be your perfect match, he'd much rather lounge at your feet than go for a long walk! With a bit of patience, love, and plenty of comfy spots to nap, Fergus will reward you with a lifetime of devoted companionship.

Story
Sydney 10 years old Female Good with other dogs Fostered in Williams, OR   She’s been waiting for someone to look past her age and see the beautiful soul she is. She’s ready to love someone with her whole heart; she just needs her person to find her. Sydney is looking for her forever people This sweet girl is 10 years young and still has so much life and love to give. Sydney is one of those dogs who just makes you smile — she’s playful, happy, and loves nothing more than chasing her ball and being with her people. She’s fantastic with other dogs and would love a buddy to hang out with. Cats, though? Not so much. She’s hoping for a cat-free home where she can just soak up all the love (and treats!) she can get. Sydney might have a few years under her belt, but don’t let that fool you — she’s still full of energy and spunk. She’s the perfect mix of silly and sweet — the kind of dog who’ll run around the yard with you one minute and then curl up for a nap right by your side the next. She’s been waiting for someone to look past her age and see the beautiful soul she is. She’s ready to love someone with her whole heart, she just needs her person to find her. Story
Bella came to us with her eight newborn babies, and from day one she’s been nothing but gentle and steady. She’s the sweetest girl — a little timid at first, mostly from living a pretty sheltered life before rescue — but she warms up beautifully with patience and calm. She’s wonderful with kids and other dogs, and she’d thrive in a slow, steady, quiet home where she can feel safe and settle in at her own pace. Bella is pure sweetness, ready for a soft place to land and a family who will love her the way she’s always deserved.
