Story
Meet Kobe! He was rescued from the side of the road by his foster, and he is just the sweetest boy! His foster family has been caring for him for about a year, but never intended to keep him forever. They have 5 kids ranging from 6 months old to 12 years old and they play with him and lay with him and he is always sweet and gentle with them. He’s never shown aggression to anyone at all. He’s crate trained and house trained, but he will dig under the fence if he doesn’t get enough exercise. He would thrive with more exercise, training and mental stimulation. He’s a very smart dog, but also quite strong so would do well with obedience training. Kobe is about 1.5 years old and weighs about 75 pounds.IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Meet Lucky! This incredibly handsome love bug was found super skinny and roaming the streets with burned paws. Some wonderful people took him in and got him to the vet to get treated. He’s now at our rescue and he’s the sweetest, least reactive dog ever. He did great meeting the front yard pack and had no reaction to being growled at. He's a little too much for small dogs and cats, but he'd love another medium/large dog to play with in his forever home. He’s a completely white pit bull with one mostly blue eye and one light brown eye. Lucky is about 1 year old and weighs 47 pounds, but he should put on 5-7 pounds. He’s so incredibly loving and sweet, he thinks everyone he meets is his best friend. He’s loving and smart—he already knows sit and is very respectful. Lucky really enjoys being with people. He’ll make an excellent companion!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Meet Max, a 6-month-old, 30-pound bundle of energy and sweetness! Max was found on the street and lovingly cared for in a foster home before coming to our rescue. He’s a smart pup who learns quickly and is friendly with both people and other dogs. He loves to be around others.Max enjoys getting in on the action, especially when his foster siblings are receiving attention, and he’s always ready to join in the fun. He’s a toy lover who prefers having every toy out of the box, just in case the perfect one is needed! Max is still mastering the art of leash walking, but is already an enthusiastic participant in outdoor playtime, whether it’s solo or with friends. At his foster home, Max wasn’t allowed in the kitchen when meals were being prepared, and he respected that rule well. He also enjoyed sharing a cozy space in the living room with his furry foster siblings, where they all slept together. Max gets very excited about food, so he’s learning patience and boundaries during mealtime.Max is ready to bring joy, love, and a bit of playful mischief to his forever home!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Druid is a sweet and healthy 3 year old pit bull/am staff/boxer who is very well behaved! He has been in a board and train/foster program for 5 months and has been consistently working on his commands and learning new ones, playing with other dogs, meeting new people, and going on outings to behave nicely in the car, stores, on walks, and more! He loves to play with high energy dogs and his main buddy during his time with us has been our grumpy 12 year old so he has learned to respect dogs not wanting to play too. He does well with cats but wants to play and would need supervision. He has met lots of people and has been friendly with all of them as well as kids ranging in ages 1-12 years old and has been very gentle! He is fully potty trained, crate trained, is quiet indoors, and is overall a very snuggly and calm dog. He does great in the bath but doesn’t love nail trims. We take him to the groomer for them and he is getting better each time!

Story
Introducing Jackson, or as we like to call him, Jack Teller - a true survivor who has overcome countless obstacles in his journey. Imagine finding him at an intersection, abandoned and scared, anxiously waiting for his owners to return. It breaks your heart, doesn't it? But don't worry, this story has a happy ending. Despite his rough start, Jack Teller has blossomed into a remarkable companion. Like any dog, he was initially wary of new faces, but it didn't take long for him to realize that there are kind-hearted souls out there who only want to shower him with love and affection. And boy, did he surprise us all! Jack Teller turned out to be the friendliest pup around, melting hearts left and right with his warm greetings and wagging tail. He's not just good with people, but dogs too - a true social butterfly! Like many of our Tx dogs he is being treated for heartworms. NOTHING to worry about as this is very common here.  We will provide the medication to continue his treatment.   If you're looking for a hiking buddy or simply a furry friend to join you on leisurely strolls, Jack Teller is your guy. He absolutely loves going on walks and exploring the great outdoors. Plus, he's a pro when it comes to crate training. Talk about an all-around good boy! But here's the best part - this gentle soul is a hidden treasure, waiting to be discovered by the perfect forever family. We believe that every dog deserves a loving home, and Jack Teller is no exception. That's why we make regular trips to the Pacific Northwest, including a special stop in Bellingham, WA, just for our Canadian friends. If you're interested in adopting Jack Teller or want to find out more about him, head over to www.springbranchrescue.org. Don't miss out on the chance to welcome this incredible pup into your life. Trust us, it'll be a decision you won't regret. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wondering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance. We know if adopted by you they will be loved and cared for . We believe in our local and out of state applicants.  There is a reason we drive to the Pacific Northwest every 2 weeks.  You are worth the drive. We have AMAZING adopters and we need more like them.  No matter if you live here in Houston, the Pacific Northwest or Canada we welcome you!  Thank you for considering to adopt and not shop.  If we are in Houston, then how can you see our posts?   Spring Branch Rescue has fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. Yes our rescue is in Houston.  Our available animals live with foster families.  This is a win for you as the transition from our home to yours will be a much easier one.  We do have foster homes in your area.  This is why you are able to see our posts.  Unfortunatelly Meet & Greets have been cancelled due to Covid Restrictions.  Almost all our animals traveling have been adopted.  We have been doing this since 2019 and very successful.  Please take a look at our adopters reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue ##1714321##

Story
🎀 Meet Clory! 🎀 Hello there, future family! I’m Clory, a 3-year-old Pitbull/Jindo mix with a soft white coat and a heart full of love. I was rescued from a kill shelter, and after receiving treatment for heartworm, I’m ready to find my forever home where I can relax, play, and be the best companion ever. 🏡💕 Why I’m Special: • 🍪 Snack Enthusiast: I’m a little shy at first, but offer me a treat, and I’ll warm up to you in no time! Snacks are the way to my heart, and before you know it, I’ll be showing you my belly for some rubs. • 🐕 Social Butterfly (With Limits): I enjoy meeting new dogs, especially those my size, but I’m not much for roughhousing. I prefer peaceful encounters and tend to avoid confrontation if another dog gets a little too feisty. • 🚶‍♀️ Walks & Quiet Time: I love being outdoors and going for walks, though I can get a bit excited and pull on the leash. Don’t worry—I’m working on it! After a good walk, I’m all about resting quietly by your side. • 🛏️ Calm & Composed: I’m a good girl when it comes to quiet time. I’m calm in a kennel and well-behaved at home, making me an easy companion to live with. • 🍽️ Foodie with a Side of Sass: While I don’t guard my food from people, I can get a little growly if another dog tries to take my meal. With some training and understanding, I’m sure we can work through it together! A Few Things to Know: • Quick to Bond: It only takes me a few minutes to get comfortable with new people, especially if snacks are involved. I’m food-motivated, so training me is a breeze—I already know how to “sit” like a champ! 🐾 • Needs a Little Guidance: I’m a strong-willed girl and need an owner who can provide consistent training. If I feel too pampered, I might get a little too confident and try to boss other dogs around. But with the right balance of love and boundaries, I’ll be the perfect companion. Could Clory Be Your New Best Friend? I’m ready to find a home where I can be loved, trained, and cherished. If you’re looking for a loyal, sweet, and slightly sassy dog who will keep you on your toes, I’m your girl! Let’s meet and start our journey together—I can’t wait to show you how amazing I am. 🐾💖 Love, Clory 🎀 For more videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3JxTjkNfb9rScGAtdz41oEda
