She is high energy and has a high prey drive so she shouldn’t be in a home with cats and preferably where she is the only dog. I am training her. She is housebroken but needs room to run. She is ok with other dogs once she gets to know them. She needs lots of socialization. Lexi is a loving dog with unlimited potential if she goes to the right household. She needs a home with someone who is active, and preferably a home that has a yard. She knows her name very well and will come when called. She likes to chase cars, so that has to be dealt with. Lexi is getting better but needs some more work. Lexi needs love and attention. With the right environment, she will be a fantastic dog for years to come. She shows signs of being hit and screamed at, but with hard work and a lot of love, she is coming around nicely. I adopted her and would keep her, but I have cats. I don’t want her to go back into any shelter as I feel it would set her recovery back. So I have decided to rehome her and continue working with her until I find her the best possible home where she will be loved and can thrive. He's fun and loves to wrestle with bones or rope toys. Inside the home Baxter is low maintenance. He enjoys having his own space, relaxing on his bed, and hanging out nearby while you unwind. He's fully potty trained, up to date on vaccines, neutered, and completed e-collar training- including reliable off-leash skills and a great heel. Who Baxter is looking for Baxter thrives in calm predictable environments, which means he's not a match for homes with young kids. His current family loves him deeply, and re-homing Baxter comes from wanting him to live his happiest, least-stressful life. Baxter is a fantastic fit for - An adults-only or older-kids home - Someone who loves walks, exploring, or weekend adventures - A house with a yard where he can romp - Homes with cats (he does great with them!)

Story

Jameson was adopted from Denver Animal Shelter when he was about 2 months old. He has been with me 10 months. He has a lot of energy, and I don't think we are a good fit. He needs a lot of attention and play space. He is crate trained and he likes to just lay in it to relax. Recently I've been leaving him out of the crate while I'm gone and he has done pretty well. Jameson needs a person who can get him out of the house more. He uses a gentle leader for walks and pulls a little. He generally loves meeting new people - he loves going to the brewery. He knows people around the neighborhood who he likes to say hi to for treats. He's a lover and likes to snuggle on the couch. He really just needs a bit more attention than I can give.
