Story
This beauty is Lexi! She is an approximately 1-year-old, 50-pound stunner with the kind of looks that garner compliments from strangers and passersby. Her gorgeous tri-colored coat and striking blue eyes hint at some Australian Shepherd in her mix — but Lexi is even better than a purebred. She’s a rez dog, made up of many breeds, which often means healthier, sturdier, and wonderfully well-balanced genetics.  Lexi came to us from the Navajo Nation, where she lived alongside many different dogs. She is friendly and social with other dogs and understands how to coexist peacefully in a pack. Because her world has been a bit limited so far, Lexi can be shy in new situations, but don’t mistake that for a lack of love. She has been well cared for and shows it through her sweet, gentle, and devoted nature. Once she feels safe, her affection quietly shines through. She’ll benefit from a patient, encouraging home willing to help her: Build confidence in new environments Continue learning and refining her leash skills ‍ Discover all the good things life has to offer Lexi is the kind of dog who bonds deeply with her people and blossoms with kindness and consistency. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with beauty, heart, and so much potential, Lexi may be the one you’ve been waiting for   Adopt Lexi and give this special girl the chance to fully shine. Story
Meet Ol' Blue Eyes  Blue Eye's story begins in a grocery store parking lot on the reservation, where his family brought the entire litter in hopes of giving the puppies away. Thankfully, a compassionate good Samaritan stepped in, gathered all the babies, and reached out to the rescue for help. While the family would not give us mama, we did secure a spay appointment so she won’t have to go through another litter. Because of the kindness and quick action of a stranger, Blue Eyes is now safe, thriving, and ready to begin his own bright future. Blue Eye’s Personality & Progress Confident and outgoing: Blue Eyes and his siblings are a joyful, social bunch—there isn’t a shy pup in this litter. Wellcaredfor beginnings: Their original family clearly loved them; they arrived fat, happy, and wonderfully playful. Smart as can be: He already follows his foster mom in and out for potty breaks and comes when he’s called. Great crate habits: At night, he sleeps soundly with his siblings in their comfy wire crate. Carride approved: He’s been on a few rides and handles the car like a pro. Brave and full of zest: Blue Eyes approaches life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a bold little spirit. Why You’ll Love Him  Blue Eyes is the kind of puppy who makes every day feel a little brighter. He’s playful, peopleoriented, and wonderfully eager to learn. His confidence and intelligence shine through in everything he does—from trotting after his foster mom to mastering new routines with ease. His estimated birthday is November 27, 2025, though we don’t know the exact date. His mom looks to be an Australian Shepherd mix so we think the puppies are Australian Shepherd / Australian Cattle Dog and several other rez breeds. Meet Jingle Bells!  This silly little boy is bursting with love and affection! Jingle Bells is truly one of the cuddliest pups you’ll ever meet—he loves being close, nuzzling up, and soaking in all the snuggles he can get. While he can be a bit timid at times, his confidence is growing more every day. Jingle Bells currently has a foster brother and absolutely loves having a canine buddy to play with. He enjoys meeting new people and dogs and is always happy to say hello—be prepared to make lots of new friends when Jingle Bells is by your side! He’s still getting used to the leash, but once outside he does great—walking calmly without pulling. He likes to stay right near you, sometimes trotting ahead and checking back to make sure you’re still there. At home, Jingle Bells is a dream. He’s crate trained and actually loves his crate, often going in on his own. He settles right down at night and sleeps quietly. He already knows “sit,” is very food-motivated, eager to please, and continuing to learn new commands. Potty training is also in progress and coming along nicely. Jingle Bells is ready for his forever home—one filled with patience, love, and plenty of cuddles. If you’re looking for a sweet, loyal companion with a heart of gold, Jingle Bells may be your perfect match ##2628463##

Teefers (freddie) is an all-around delight and a sociable guy! While only a few months old, he’s housebroken, already learning basic commands, and learning the leash well. Teefers is thriving in his routine: taking lots of puppy naps, playing with his toys, and snuggling with his foster fam. He does well playing with himself, but would be good with other dogs too. Teefers would be a great companion for an active individual or family. He is a special dog. ##2626654##

Story
Lady is looking for a safe place to land — a calm, committed home willing to guide her, cheer her on, and give her the time she needs to feel truly at home. Meet Lady This beautiful girl is the full package — sweet, smart, and full of potential just waiting to shine. Lady is a shy but loving girl and will need a patient, understanding home that’s willing to move at her pace. She loves being outside, happily sniffing and exploring, and does best with a consistent routine that helps her feel safe and secure. At first, she may be hard to catch and may not want to come inside right away, and she might not be comfortable with touch for the first few days — but with time, trust, and consistency, she will make progress. Having another dog in the home will be a huge help for Lady. She absolutely loves other dogs and takes comfort in their presence. She can be a little socially awkward, likely due to limited socialization as a puppy, but her heart is in the right place and she truly thrives around canine friends. Here’s what makes Lady special: • Potty trained • Sleeps soundly in her crate all night • Great with other dogs • Loves being outside and exploring Lady has so much love to give and will be incredibly rewarding for the right person willing to give her patience and grace. Apply online at www.lolasrescue.com Dogs that state ***RESCUE CENTER*** are available for meet and greets by appointment at Lola's Rescue Center located at 22351 E. Story
Name: Carmella Breed: Border Collie Sex: Female Age: 2 year old Weight: 45 lbs. Carmella has some behavioral needs, and she's available for adoption or through a foster-to-adopt arrangement. Good with dogs? Carmella will need a slow introduction to other dogs Good with cats? No Good with kids? Not tested but based on her behavior with meeting new people we would recommend she go to a kid free home. Energy level: High. Carmella is a driven Border Collie with a strong need for mental stimulation. She would thrive in a home where she has a job to do—bonus points if her adopter is interested in helping her learn how to herd! With her high energy and working-dog instincts, Carmella would love nothing more than a purpose-filled life where she can stay active and engaged. Animal Characteristics: Carmella is a beautiful, sensitive soul searching for someone special to help her shine. This shy girl hasn’t had the easiest start, and she’s still learning to trust the world around her. When meeting new people, Carmella can be fearful— but with patience, structure, and love, she begins to open up. Her ideal home will be with an experienced, compassionate adopter committed to continuing her training and providing slow, gentle introductions to new people and situations. Carmella isn’t the kind of dog who will greet you with tail wags and kisses on day one — but if you give her time and understanding, you’ll earn the love of a truly loyal companion. Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. I look forward to meeting you!
