Story
Meet Sugar Plum – The Sweetest Tripod Around!   Say hello to Sugar Plum, an adorable, 8–9-month-old, mixed breed with a heart as big as her puppy paws! At around 41 pounds, this happy girl is full of love, energy, and zest for life. Though she had a rough start, having been hit by a car and left untreated, her resilience is nothing short of inspiring. After being rescued and having one leg amputated, Sugar Plum has bounced back beautifully. In fact, you'd never guess she's a tripod the way she zips around on walks and plays with joy!   Sugar is still very much a big puppy at heart, making up for lost time with enthusiasm. She’s playful, smart, and incredibly sweet. She didn’t get much training early on, but she's a quick learner! She’s now house-trained and crate-trained, and she’s working hard on her leash manners. She already knows sit, down, leave it, and is working on stay, especially if there’s a treat involved!   She is looking for a family who is willing and able to put in a little training in the beginning to set her up with a long and successful future.    Sugar loves meeting new people and is always up for a car ride. Sugar Plum enjoys being around children, but because of her size and bouncy energy, she'd do best with kids who are older (8+ in age). Her perfect home would be with an active family who can give her lots of love, attention, and walks. She adores the sunshine and would be thrilled to have a doggie friend to play and cuddle with. She even convinced her foster mom’s 12-year-old grumpy pup to join in the fun!   This sweet, spunky girl has so much love to give and is ready to bring sunshine, snuggles, and tail wags into the life of a lucky adopter.    Could that be you? Story
Hey, future family! It’s me, Levy! I’m a super-loving, fun, outgoing boy! I love EVERYONE I meet! My foster mommy says I’m the best foster ever (and she’s had a lot of fosters, so she knows!). I’m always happy, my tail wags nonstop, and I love dogs, kids, pigs, and give no fluff about the chickens I met recently. Basically, I want to be everyone’s best friend. I don’t need a crate because I’m a very good boy! I only chew my toys, I know how to behave in the house, and I’m potty trained!  I love being outside, running around, sniffing everything, and playing with my ball. But don’t worry, I also love snuggling up on the couch or lying beside your desk while you work. Story
Meet Hillary!  Make it make sense… Hillary has been with us since the day she was born in March of LAST YEAR (2024)!! She’s an amazingly sweet and loving girl who is GREAT with all dogs! And cats too! Being smart, eager to please, and very treat motivated  means she could probably learn to do just about anything. She’s the perfect size (right around 35 lbs) - compact enough to take with you on adventures but big enough to be able to keep up with you. A DNA test on one of her littermates came back showing 51% Australian Cattle Dog and 49% American Pit Bull, so she is also sturdy and energetic - what a great combo for someone outdoorsy looking for a new Adventure Buddy! Story
BEFORE: Stuck in a shelter alone and afraid and getting sick     AFTER: What a difference! I’m clean and floofy and gonna be spoiled. My name is TOMMIE TRUFFLES! I like sticks. I like stones and I like pine cones. Foster mom says, “Twuffles wanna tweets?” Silly, she talks to me like I’m a baby.  Well, I am quite young, maybe 9-12 months, and I do have a lot to learn. I still have some puppy in me as I never really got to experience that! I get so excited that I jump on people, so I may not be great with small kiddos. I know a few basic command likes “sit” but have some manners to learn too. My foster mom says I “need some groceries.” Right now I’m about 45 pounds, but need those groceries and “tweets” to gain at least 10 pounds. I love seeing people and my tail wags every time I see someone new. I haven’t met any cats yet, but that may come in time. During the day, I’m a pawfect guest at foster mom’s work. I chill and snore in the dog bed conveniently provided. I walk well on a leash and do just fine on car rides. At night, I sleep in a crate and dream of the day I have enough of those “manners” to snooze in bed with YOU at night. I still need to get “fixed” (but I’m not sure what’s broken) and I keep hearing about a furever home. Can that be you? So fill out application and let’s set up Meet and Greet, will ya? An Adoption Application for this dog can be found and submitted online. http://www.angelsrescue.org/adopt/adoption-forms  Please be sure to like our Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/angelsrescue.  Email inquiry@angelsrescue.org  Note: Some apartments and neighborhoods have breed restrictions.
