Introducing Lois, an adorable 6.5 month old, female Australian Shepherd mix with a delightful blend of brown and white fur, weighing in at approximately 13 pounds. She is initially cautious and shy, but will warm up if you spend some time with her. She gets along famously with her doggie friends, and would do well with a companion. While she may require some guidance with leash manners and potty training, her willingness to learn shines through. With patience and love, Lois can be a devoted and well-mannered member of your family. Chewy weighs 32lbs., is approximately 1 years old (est. birth date 09/19/2022), and her adoption fee is $500. Chewy has been spayed, is up to date on all vaccinations & preventatives, and is microchipped. Chewy is currently undergoing treatments for heartworm disease. Until she has completed her treatments and is fully recovered, Chewy is available for adoption only in the Atlanta area; She must be able to come to Furkids' shelter for treatments. Courtesy Post: Owner Surrender/Rehoming- Villa Rica, GA Meet Theo! He is an 3 year old Australian Shepherd and weighs 45 lbs. He is neutered and up to date on shots, but isn’t on heartworm prevention. Theo is fearful of strangers! He is good with kids and dogs! He hasn’t been tested around cats. Theo is given trazodone when he is anxious. He herded one of the owner’s friends and snipped her calf. He also jumped on and nipped a delivery driver after the owner accidentally opened the door. The current owner is surrendering him because he is herding the other people in the home. The other people are no longer comfortable having him there. He needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! If you think you can provide a great home for Theo, please contact the owner listed below. There is a $150 rehoming fee to assure good folks with good intentions. This fee will be donated to Australian Shepherds Furever for their assistance in placing Theo. She is microchipped, up to date on shots, and on heartworm prevention, but isn’t spayed. Ursula is good with older children, cats, and dogs! She hasn’t been tested around younger children. She was found as a stray, but her owner was never found. Ursula can be the alpha when around other dogs. She is housebroken and crate-trained. The current owner is surrendering her because they already have dogs and a cat. They are also expecting a new baby. She needs to find a new furever home as soon as possible! He is crate trained, house broken, leash trained, and has been trained not to get on the couch or bed. He is a sweet friendly dog who loves activity and people. Goose needs a family with older children that can play and run around with him or a family that is very active and willing to take him along for the ride! He loves a great game of fetch and to go on runs or walks.
