Abby girl has lost the only home she's ever known. Her mama went to assisted living and her dad could no longer care for her. We made a promise to them that we'd find their baby a new home. She was adopted as a puppy from a rescue in Oklahoma in 2016, which means she turns eight years old in 2024, March 2024, to be precise. Sweet girl has a lot of sugar on her face. Abby's still new to The Pet Connection and is adjusting to not having a home, but if you give her a just a bit to know you, you'll discover that Abby likes touch when she trusts you. Approx. DOB: 5/5/18                Approx. Weight: 69 Lbs Adoption Fee: $ 225   includes a 2 week trial to ensure everyone's happiness! We are not sure what Diamond is. The vet clinic listed as a Bearded Collie, however on the surrender form it said Sheepdog/ Australian Shepherd.  Whatever she is, she is definitely a beauty! Diamond would do best in a home where her humans are home more than not. She does have some separation anxiety. She will whine when you first put her in the crate but I tell her it's bedtime and she settles in. I think her having another dog in her new family will also help any anxiety she may feel being left alone during the day. She does well with the other dogs in her foster home and has had no issues with any of them. However, she has been returned 2x now due to having separation anxiety and for having a tussle with the other dog in the home. She definitely enjoys her humans and lights up when you return. She originally came from a family with children and did well with our volunteers daughter (11 yrs). She will need a dog savvy owner. Diamond absolutely loves going for car rides and she loves going on walks. Are you looking for a walking or jogging buddy you have found her! Diamond is going to make some lucky family a wonderful companion. She is housebroken and crate trained. She is very well behaved in the home.
