We received Daisy when she was 10 weeks old. She is 2 years old (born around January of 2024). Daisy is a very snuggly cuddly lap dog. She is not super adventerous, but does enjoy going on walks and laying out in the sun and in the grass. Her favorite things to do are laying on her bed or in your lap with lots of love and pets. She is very smart and listens well to commands like sitting, staying, or coming when called. She is very social and loves meeting new humans and dogs alike. She loves kids and babies, but does get so excited that she jumps up to kiss and greet everyone she meets, but there is not a mean bone in her body. She is a real sweetheart and would be perfect in a home that will show her lots of love and affection.

Story
I rescued this dog injured in the center of a rural county road in December and he has been with me ever since. This soulful dog is available for a new home anytime! He is just such a mellow, happy, goofy guy and he deserves so much more time with humans that we can give. He would be great in an apartment with regular walks or a home with a yard. He was very good with pre-teen kids and decent on a leash. He has played well with dogs of all sizes. He is not very reactive and is pretty easy to redirect. He is a great dog for someone that wants a low maintenance pal to play with and then nap the other 20 hours a day. He is good on his own, no separation anxiety or destructive tendencies and he has shown minimal resource guarding and now that he is eating regular he is doing a good job of not overeating and will only eat when he is hungry. He does seem to want to chase the cats and so I would recommend a home with no cats or with young cats that can get away.

Meet Littlefoot! This little tripod is one of the sweetest pups you’ll ever meet. She was found as a stray along with her puppies in South Texas a few months ago. Since rescuing her, we have gotten her fully vetted which included amputating her front limb, as she was born with a deformity that was causing her some pain. She’s a little over a year old, good with dogs, but prefers a mellow companion. She’s extremely sweet with people and would like to be a cuddle partner for hours on end. She’s also potty trained and crate trained. She has not been cat tested so unfortunately, we do not know how she would do with kitties. Because Littlefoot was a "street dog" the first year of her life, new things can be scary at first. So we will require a patient leader that can teach her that the world is not a scary place. Our trainer will be happy to continue to work with her on confidence building once she enters into your home, as all of our pups come with 3 free at home sessions with one of our trainers. Paisley is the Mom to 7 pups that came in with social problems. Most of the pups have been rehabilitated and Paisley has made lots of progress being social. We took them to save their lives. Paisley has been easier to rehabilitate than some of the pups. Paisley is now walking on a leash and displaying her desire to be social. To the right family/home, she will be a great dog.. She still has some fears but never has had any aggression and taking a dog like this, is very rewarding to see their progress. Being in a home, makes the challenges even easier! She might be best as an only dog but we always invite a meet and greet with the whole family if you have a dog. She can be shy at first and may startle easily in new environments, but with a little patience she quickly builds trust and becomes an affectionate love bug. Once she feels safe, Sundae absolutely adores belly rubs and will happily soak up all the pets and attention you can give. She walks nicely on a leash and has good leash manners, making her a wonderful companion for calm neighborhood strolls. Sundae would do best in a home with children 13 years and older or in an adult-only household where she can feel secure.
