Canaan is a 10 month (dob: 10/16/21) old Heeler/pyranees mix. Not a big dog at only 50 lbs Original owner rehomed to a family friend at around two months old. New owners did not complete his vetting so we are getting it done. He will be neutered and get the rest of his vaccines very soon. He is now microchipped and his heartwood test was negative. He is good with other dogs, kids, teenagers and adults. Housebroken, crate trained. Great temperament. Very loving and playful dog. He would be a great walking Buddy or jogging partner. Don’t let his breed description scare you, not going to be an 100 lb dog. I think he might put on another 5-10 lbs if he does get any bigger. Sweet and smart, ready to join your family. Lucy came to us as an owner surrender. Sadly, she was never spayed and kept having litter after litter.  We agreed to take the puppies as long as they gave us Lucy as well. We wanted her to finally have a home where she could be a cherished pet. Lucy is an extremely sweet and happy girl. She gets along with dogs of all sizes, cats and she adores children. She is in great shape! Our vet thought she was only 3 years old because her teeth are pearly white. Doreen here! It's easy to tell which one I am because I am mostly black in color and I am fairly small. My sister, Darlene, is the only one smaller than I am. There are 7 of us--6 girls and one boy. We were living outside in a pen where we didn't have a lot of room to run. Our owner was nice but he didn't intend for our mama to get pregnant. He did the best he could at feeding us but he lived somewhere without electric and none of us had any heat. When it was going to get so cold, he asked Animal Allies if they would take us and get homes for us. We were kind of scared to go but we sure are glad we're here in our foster home. Both Darlene and I were hunkered down shivering when the AAT people got there. It's been warm and we've had plenty to eat since we got here and a nice big yard to play in too once the weather warmed up. Now we're ready to find our forever homes. We haven't quite mastered the housebroken thing but we're willing to learn! We are friendly and affectionate too. Please put in an application today--we'd love to meet you! Doreen here! We found Rocky 5 years ago and believe he is about 6-7 years old. When we found him, we had a large yard.
