Story
Canaan is a Heeler/pyranees mix (dob: 10/16/21). Not a big dog at only 50 lbs Original owner rehomed to a family friend at around two months old. New owners did not complete his vetting so we had it done. He is neutered and current on vaccinations. He is now microchipped and his heartworm test was negative. He is good with other dogs, cats, kids, teenagers and adults. He has to learn to trust at first. Housebroken, crate trained. Great temperament. Very loving and playful dog. He would be a great walking Buddy or jogging partner. Commands he knows: sit, wait, leave it, back (when you want him to back up out of a space), out, crate, bed, place, quiet, outside, potty, get a toy, come, walks well on a leash, get in the car. He’s super easy to train, very willing to please and loves treats. Sweet and smart, ready to join your family. He holds stuffed toys in his mouth for comfort and doesn’t destroy them. You can complete an application for adoption on our website. www.chloespetrescue.org/application . Canaan’s adoption fee is $225 which includes his vetting.

Story
--Meet Muffin — 1-Year-Old Cattle Dog Doesn’t she just look like fun?! With her incredibly expressive face and soft eyes, Muffin is the kind of dog who wears her heart on her sleeve. This sweet girl spent three long months in the shelter—waiting, hoping, watching other dogs leave while she stayed behind. We honestly can’t believe no one scooped her up sooner. Now safe in a foster home, Muffin follows her foster mom everywhere, soaking up the comfort and reassurance she’s been craving. She may be cautious around men, but with a gentle touch and a little patience, she opens up beautifully.   Muffin: Loves car rides and will be your loyal co-pilot Is quiet in her crate and walks well on a leash Gets along well with other dogs Is learning that the world isn’t so scary after all She’s ready to leave her past behind and step into a life full of pup cups, snuggles, and soft voices. Muffin just needs someone to show her how wonderful life can truly be.   Apply to adopt: https://petstablished.com/adoption_form/13108/generic   ##2479282##

Story
Meet Cleo! Cleo is a 1-year-old Australian Cattle Dog with striking solid white fur and perfectly perky ears that are always on alert for her next adventure. Smart as a whip and highly treat-motivated, Cleo would absolutely excel in agility or any activity that keeps her mind and body engaged. She currently lives in a foster home with both small and large dogs and does great with them all! However, she does enjoy chasing cats, so a feline-free home would be best. Cleo is crate trained, housebroken, and walks well on a leash. Whether it's hiking a trail or binge-watching your favorite show, Cleo is all in. She's the perfect mix of active and affectionate and would thrive in a home that offers her plenty of stimulation, structure, and love. Story
If you’re looking for a built-in best buddy who’s always up for fun, exploration, and a little silliness, I might just be your guy. I’m mostly white with a splash of ginger on my ears, and full of that joyful puppy sparkle. I was born this past July and I’m an Aussie mix like my mom. Dad is a bit of a mystery, but I like to think that just adds to my charm. I’ve got soft fur, bright dark eyes, and a happy-go-lucky outlook on life. I love being on the move, checking out new places, and meeting new friends. I’m great with kids and other dogs, and I’m very well adjusted. I’m already crate trained and housetrained too, which means I’m off to a great start as a family companion. My ideal family would be active, enjoy getting out and doing things, and have a backyard where I can stretch my legs, play, and burn off some of my puppy energy. At the end of the day, I’m also sweet and cuddly and happy to soak up love from my people. I’m looking for a person or family who wants a true companion and plans to make me part of their whole life, for my whole life. If you’re ready for laughter, adventure, and a loyal sidekick who thinks you’re the best thing ever, I’d love to meet you. Meet the Adoption Criteria. Before you do anything else, make sure you meet our adoption criteria. You must be at least 21 years old. You must live within a 60-mile radius of Richardson, Texas. You must share veterinary records for all pets currently in your home and all pets owned in the last five years. All pets in the home must be spayed or neutered. If you rent your home, you must provide verification that pets are allowed on the property. You must be willing to be interviewed by an adoption counselor, and you must undergo a home visit from an RHS representative. Apply. You can complete an application at an MTP event or complete it online by either clicking the button below or the “Adopt” button beneath the pet’s photo in the listings above. Phone Interview or Attend a Meet the Pets (MTP) event. This is a great opportunity to meet the pet you are interested in and see if you connect. We hold these events once a month on Saturday from 1:00-3:00 p.m. We post the pets who are expected to attend on Friday evening on our Facebook page. For exact details and locations, view our event calendar. If an event is over a week away, a counselor may contact you for a phone interview. Home Visit. If all the steps above are completed satisfactorily, we will set up a home visit where you can meet the pet you are interested in again and the pet can meet other pets in the family. We will try to send the foster parent so you can learn more about how the pet is in a home environment. Complete Adoption. If all feel it is a good match, we will schedule the adoption at MTP or an off-site location. The applicant will need to complete the adoption contract and pay the adoption fee. Our adoption fee is $250 for adult dogs, $300 for puppies (under 1 year) and $135 for cats. Discounts are available for senior-aged pets.   ##2466427##

Story
This smart, beautiful girl has a wonderful spirit and gentle soul.  We just love her to bits.   She's a pretty savvy chick.  She figured out the doggie door pretty quick and takes herself out to go potty or a respite from the hustle and bustle of a busy doggy filled houshold. She's sensitive and sweet and can read a room in 10 seconds flat.  Good vibe, bad vibe?  She knows.  She loves hanging out with the resident dogs and patrolling the backyard for squirrels. Glory has also discovered the toy basket and loves to empty it and even take toys out the doggie door.  She enjoys walks with her foster mom and her "pack", exploring new neighborhoods and fields. Oh - and she's been a momma - raised to kiddos, Ross and Betsy.  Also available for adoption.  She was a good mom, and is a most excellent dog.   You'd be lucky if she was your dog.   ##2466424##
