Canaan is a Heeler/pyranees mix (dob: 10/16/21). Not a big dog at only 50 lbs Original owner rehomed to a family friend at around two months old. New owners did not complete his vetting so we had it done. He is neutered and current on vaccinations. He is now microchipped and his heartworm test was negative. He is good with other dogs, cats, kids, teenagers and adults. He has to learn to trust at first. Housebroken, crate trained. Great temperament. Very loving and playful dog. He would be a great walking Buddy or jogging partner. Commands he knows: sit, wait, leave it, back (when you want him to back up out of a space), out, crate, bed, place, quiet, outside, potty, get a toy, come, walks well on a leash, get in the car. He’s super easy to train, very willing to please and loves treats. Sweet and smart, ready to join your family. He holds stuffed toys in his mouth for comfort and doesn’t destroy them. Hi, I’m Little Caesar! Yep, you guessed it — I got my name because I was found hanging out by the dumpster behind a Little Caesars. Pretty cheesy, right? But don’t worry, I’ve got a heart as big as a deep-dish pizza! I’m around 5 months old and about 25 lbs — still a growing boy, but already full of sweetness and charm. I’m a little skinny right now, but I’m healthy, happy, and oh-so-friendly. I walk nicely on leash, love people, and everyone says I’m cute as can be. The shelter life isn’t really my style — I’d much rather be cuddled up in a loving home where I can play, learn, and soak up all the affection I can get. Story

Rocket is 1 year old and very active we got him from the local animal shelter. When we got him he was sick with Coccidia with the help of antibiotics he's a healthy dog. About 3 months later he broke his leg and we went through with an expensive surgery and nursed him back to health. I got accepted into a college away from my fiancé and had taken Rocket with me. He is not made to live in an apartment. Even with multiple walks a day he has so much energy and it's not fair to him. He is trainable and knows a handful of tricks including playing dead, waiting for his food, potty trained, sit, stay, and is kennel trained. I can give you all of his stuff (water bowls, food container, kennel, toys, training leashes/ collars, etc.) He's a good dog I just don't have the energy to keep up. I've thought about this for a while and I just cannot provide the life he deserves. He's the sweetest little guy and deserves a yard and someone that can meet all his needs.

Canelo was rescued from the Dallas animal shelter, with only 3 days before he would be euthanized. We adopted him, and he’s a wonderful and friendly dog with people. We love his personality, he just wants to play with his ball and herding ball, and be pet. Unfortunately he does not do well with small cats, small dogs, and little animals. He thinks they’re prey, and chases after them. We have a cat, and a wiener dog, so for the last 3 months we’ve been trying to acclimate them together, and it just hasn’t worked out. He is wonderful with our other dog though, who is a blue heeler and the same size as him. He does plays well with dogs bigger than him too. They play together all day long. If it wasn’t for our cat and smaller dog, it would be a perfect fit and home. We think he would be better with a home that has bigger dogs that can handle his energy. Completely free, we just want him in a good home. He deserves it.
