She's adapting well to life inside, and she's house trained. Rue walks well on leash now, and is eager to learn more with her forever family! She's learned what toys are and has started playing. She's enjoying life and will give you a big smile once she trusts you!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Meet Gerry! He’s a senior boy with a heart of gold. He’s so sweet and loving with people of all ages. He’s great with dogs big and small. He’s potty trained and loves his daily walks. Gerry’s an easy going guy who loves his favorite spot in the house and happily shares his toys. He’s about 9 years old and weighs 58 pounds. He loves car rides and face scratches. He has some arthritis due to his age, but joint supplements work great and he still loves his daily walks!IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. Story
Animal Profile: Tango is a Cattle Dog mix (best guess) estimated to be 14 weeks old. He was picked up as a stray by animal control. They contacted our rescue partner for help and he was in a foster home in Texas before joining us in the Seattle area on 11/15. Foster Update: Tango is a friendly little puppy with the most adorable stocky body, which makes him walk with a little sway! He loves children the most and immediately became friends with our 6 year old so he would do very well in a family. He is friendly towards our other dogs and loves to play them or with us (lhe oves to fetch!). He is very attentive and will follow us around just watching what we’re doing- especially if cooking! He is a pretty calm and smart little guy. He is already learning basic commands and goes into his crate willingly and settles easily. He is still a puppy but since he is even-keeled he listens very well! He has not been super vocal so far - just a few barks here and there. So far he is “potty trained” when on a schedule and in a contained area as he is still young. He has been a joy to have in our home. He is a very good boy who will surely be a great best friend.  Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Apply Online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application Animal History: This dog is being transferred from Animal Advocacy & Rescue our partner in Del Rio Texas and arriving to Seattle area foster care on 11/13/23. This dog will be fostered in the greater Seattle area and available for adoption once evaluated.November 29, 2023, 2:47 am

Story
Animal Profile: Brit is a Aussie/Husky mix (best guess) estimated to be 8 weeks old. She and her sister were surrendered  to animal control. They contacted our rescue partner for help and Brit was in a foster home in Texas before joining us on 11/15.  Foster Update: Whether you are a Coug or a Dawg, this blue-eyed, 8-week-old pup is ready for The Apple Cup! Brit has the bluest eyes of a Husky but the beautiful face of a Cougar. There need not be a house divided when you can have the best of both. Brit is a sweetheart who loves to cuddle, play outdoors and isn’t scared of the leaf blower. She likes to be spoken to and sometimes answers back. With a late bedtime (11pm), Brit is sleeping through the night. She listens when given corrections and redirects well.  Brit loves attention but enjoys lying by your feet when you're working or watching TV. Brit will need an active family who enjoys taking her for walks, outdoor adventures and companionship. Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization. Story
Animal Profile: Tori is a Aussie/Husky mix (best guess) estimated to be 8 weeks old.  She and her sister were surrendered  to animal control.  They contacted our rescue partner for help and she is currently in a foster home in Texas getting ready for her trip to the PNW to find her forever home. She will be joining us on November 15th.  Foster Update: Tori is a 8 week old mixed breed puppy with uniquely colored eyes. Tori runs a fine line between being a princess and finding the call of the wild.  She always locates the softest place to nap and any & all toys she must try first. When not living the life of belly rub luxury, Tori enjoys being outside. Playing with leaves, sticks, exploring, following her foster parents and helping with yard work. It doesn’t stop there! If allowed…Tori would lay outside on the patio in the drizzle.  Having a pup who isn’t bothered by rain is a plus for house training!  Tori sleeps through the night in her crate. She is starting to understand corrections and is easy to redirect.  Tori will do best with a family that enjoys walking, hiking, being outdoors, and including her in their daily activitie Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $550, which includes spay/neuter, current vaccinations per AVMA standards, microchip, negative heartworm test if over 6 months, and health certificate. Your donation may be tax deductible as DG is a 501c3 organization.
