Story
Cassidy is the silliest girl! She approx 9-10mo old and weighs 35lbs. She is a very happy, wiggly, friendly girl that wants to greet and cuddle with everyone she meets. She is also a very active girl so she must have an athletically active home that will exercise her on a daily basis. Lots of long distant walks and hiking would be ideal. Once she’s a little older, she will even be a great jogging partner. Cassidy thrives on her doggy playtime every day and if she could, she would spend hours at a time running and wrestling with her pals. She would do best with another medium to large size dog in the home. Cassidy still needs lots of training, but she’s such a smart girl, she learns new things very quickly. She is crate trained and needs just a little more help with house training. A home with a doggy door would be great! Cassidy must have a fenced yard. Even though she gets along with children, with her exuberant personality she may knock over the little ones so kids must be over 10 yrs old.  If you would like to meet Miss Cassidy please email info@k9rr.org and include your phone number.  Adoption fee is $400,October 1, 2023, 8:40 pm

Story
Sedona is a 3 year old red heeler/cattle dog mix, approx. 45 lbs. who loves exploring the wilderness, playing with her friends, and giving lots of kisses. She is vaccinated, spayed & microchipped. She still has lots of playful puppy energy, but also loves a good nap (or 5) throughout the day. She loves playing with other dogs, but struggles with common herding dog reactivity, mainly towards unfamiliar people. The lifestyle she is currently in is not ideal for a herding dog like her. She is an absolute sweetheart with her humans at home, very smart, gentle & playful, but with people outside of her main pack she requires slow, gentle introductions & attentive supervision. She generally takes at least a few days to warm up to strangers, but once she does she is such a lover. She is a very smart dog that just has some extra needs & would do best with a family who understands & has patience for her anxiety. She has not been exposed to cats yet, and she tends to be more comfortable with children than with adults. She is very smart & currently knows the commands; sit, lay down, touch, paw, den (kennel), bed, inside, outside, toy, woah. She is still working on stay & heel (loose leash walking). Located currently in Washington, but willing to travel.  If you are interested in knowing more about Miss Sedona please text or call Cylver at 651 280 9224 or email cylver1@live.com and include your phone number.  Thank you for your interest in this wonder very special girl!October 1, 2023, 8:40 pm

Story
Lookin for love? We have the four-legger who has it to give! Toby is urgently looking for a FOSTER. This handsome blue heeler/cattle lover is one year old and has eyes that tell a million stories. He is eager to have a yard, go on walks in more quiet areas, and be the only one or live with doggies his size. He is a pleasant 50+ lbs but needs to lose a few! He is funny, smart, sweet, tentative, and shy in meeting new folks but once you are in, you are in! We want him to grow in confidence so a no-young-kid home is best for this bud. Toby is food motivated (hence the extra lbs!) and learns quickly.  He is nervous around young kids and does like to play with dogs from medium to large with proper introduction. A pal is fun for him. No cats are preferred. Toby is vaccinated, chipped, and will be neutered. His adoption fee is $395.    We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon! Story
What a love! Puget Meet Paris! This sweetie was rescued at the last minute from death row in an overcrowded shelter.  Paris was born in Feb. 2023 and is a super sweet girl. She is so lively and fun! And uber cute! We would love to see Paris in a home with a yard and with a family who are committed to helping her learn as she continues to grow. She’s a smarty pants! She absolutely loves to snuggle! She is on the small side of medium in size - just perfect. Paris hasn’t had much exposure to other dogs and can be more dominant. A very beta pal will be beta for her. Or a dog (and cat) free home so she can get all the love! Paris is vaccinated and chipped. She will be spayed at our cost when she is old enough. Her adoption fee is $495. We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! Story
Ryder is 12.5 years old, well, 51lb, black, and he will turn 13 on May 30th, 2024. Ryder had a great life with 3 loved former owners who passed away and now is loved/spoiled in our family. Ryder was in the house while the last former owner, Rhonda, was falling down till the police officers came, Ryder kept barking and barking for three days till the neighbor called 911. Ryder was taken to the pound of Auburn Society in Oct 2021. He has been staying with us since we brought him out. We won't let Ryder go if we have a better choice, there is another type of love called "Let go if cannot provide the best for him" instead of just keeping him. My son and I spend long days at work or school, but Ryder gets lonely at home. Ryder is a sweet, super smart, and communicable dog. He is easily get love from any human and he is a playful dog.
