Story
Hi, just call me Bubbles,I'm calm, shy, and super affectionate once I trust you. I didn't always know kindness--my brother and I were found in the middle of nowhere, hungry, scared, and running from everyone. It took time and patience, but I finally learned to feel safe and loved. Now I enjoy walks, playing with other dogs, and napping in the sun. I'm still a little reserved at first, but once I feel comfortable, I'll be right by your side, ready for cuddles and belly rubs. I'd love a home with another friendly dog, a yard to relax in, and people--especially kids--who are gentle and kind. I do best with company and wouldn't be happy left alone for long. I know some basic commands like stay and come, and I walk well on leash. With patience and love, I'll be your sweetest, most loyal companion. This dog is currently in foster care in La Paz, Mexico, but will be transported upon adoption or foster placement. As a U.S. nonprofit, Hope 4 La Pawz, handles all logistics and provides full behavioral and medical info in advance.

FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Anybody LOVE to play fetch with their dog? Well then Bandit is your guy! He is a 4.5-year-old, 55lb Australian Cattle Dog mix who is looking for his forever home! He is a very happy, friendly, and intelligent boy who learns very quickly. He is also very energetic and playful and would spend ALL DAY playing fetch with his person if he could! Bandit knows some basic commands and would make a wonderful running partner and loyal companion. Bandit would love a home outside of the city with a fenced yard to run around and play. He will need to be an only dog where he can get all of the love and attention. Due to how jumpy he can be, we do recommend an adult only home and adopters with good dog handling skills. Bandit is neutered, microchipped and UTD on vaccinations. His adoption fee is $350.

Story
LONG-TERM FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED ❤️ RJ is a 6½-year-old mixed breed with a heart as big as his paws. With a unique blend of American Pit Bull Terrier, Australian Cattle Dog, Labrador Retriever, Boxer, and German Shepherd, RJ is a handsome, athletic, and intelligent companion who’s ready to find a home that truly understands him. Originally rescued from a Texas shelter at around 1½ years old, RJ made his way to Washington and spent six months with Forever Home Dog Rescue before being adopted in October 2021. His early life is a mystery, but it’s likely he spent time on the streets as a puppy. Despite his rough start, RJ has grown into a sweet, fiercely loyal dog who bonds deeply with his people. What RJ Loves: Exercise & Adventure: RJ thrives with daily activity—he’s a fantastic running and hiking partner and enjoys fetch and chase (though he might not always bring the ball back!). He has been on many backpacking trips and loves being outside. He does well on long walks with familiar people and dogs. Toys & Playtime: Balls, chew toys, and stuffed animals are his favorites, but he’s a toy destroyer if left unsupervised. Training & Mental Stimulation: Smart and eager to please, RJ enjoys learning commands and being rewarded for good behavior. Lounging & Comfort: After a good play session, RJ loves curling up on a cozy dog bed or couch and catching some serious Zzz’s. Affection: He’ll greet you with tail wags and kisses (he’s a big licker!) before settling down with a toy nearby. What RJ Needs: RJ is a special dog who needs a home that can meet his unique needs and provide structure, patience, and love. Home Environment: While he’s lived in an apartment, RJ does best in a house with space to roam and a fenced yard. No Dog Parks: RJ is not a dog park dog and has shown aggression toward male dogs, sometimes unpredictably. He prefers being the alpha and does best with female dogs his size or larger. No Cats or Small Animals: He has a strong prey drive and should not be placed in a home with cats or other small pets. No Young Children: RJ has growled at children who tried to pet him on walks and hasn’t lived with kids, so a child-free home is best. Supervised Toy Time with Other Dogs: Due to resource guarding (mostly over toys and chews), RJ should be in a home where toys aren’t left out and where there are no other resource guarders. Secure Fencing & Leash Use: RJ doesn’t have reliable recall and should never be off-leash unless in a secure area. He’s athletic and could potentially scale a low fence if tempted by a squirrel. Companionship: RJ has strong separation anxiety and does best with another dog in the home—ideally a calm, confident female- and/or a home with owners who work from home and are present regularly. He loves to be a member of the "pack". Car Rides & Crating: RJ is a great passenger and enjoys car rides! He is crate trained and is used to being put in his crate at night. The Ideal Home for RJ: RJ is looking for a committed, experienced dog owner who understands behavioral needs and is ready to give him the structure and love he deserves. He’s not a beginner dog, but for the right person or family, he’ll be an incredibly loyal and rewarding companion. If you’re active, patient, and ready to welcome a dog who will love you fiercely and keep you on your toes, RJ might just be your perfect match.

Story
FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME NEEDED Meet Rocky! Rocky is a 10-month-old, 35 LB Cattle Dog/Lab mix who came to us from an overcrowded California shelter. When he first arrived, he was very shy and shut down, but with time, patience, and love, this sweet boy has blossomed. Now, Rocky is opening up faster to new people and dogs—and once he trusts you, he’s the most loyal, cuddly companion. Rocky absolutely loves to play with other dogs, and we’re looking for a home with a confident, playful canine buddy who can help him continue to build confidence and show him the ropes. He’s smart, treat-motivated, and has the perfect mix of Cattle Dog brains with that goofy, lovable Lab personality. With his big, soulful brown eyes, adorable floppy ears, and cool black-and-white spots, Rocky is as handsome as he is sweet. Rocky will thrive in a quieter, stand-alone home outside the busy city, where he can relax, learn, and grow at his own pace. He’ll be a wonderful medium-sized adventure partner for hikes, playdates, and lots of snuggles at the end of the day. If you’re ready to give this special pup the loving, patient home he deserves, Rocky will reward you with endless loyalty and love. Rocky is UTD on vaccinations, microchipped, and neutered. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
Foster or forever home needed! Meet Hansel! This handsome 3-year-old, 55–60 lb Husky/Cattle Dog mix is the perfect blend of fun-loving energy and loyal companionship. He and his sister came from a rescue in California after being found tied to a tree as puppies — but he hasn’t let that rough start dim his bright, happy spirit. He’s an outgoing, friendly boy who loves to stay active. Whether it’s hiking, running, or exploring new trails, he’ll happily be by your side for every adventure. With his smarts and energy, he’ll thrive in a home that keeps him both mentally and physically engaged. True to his Husky side, he’s quite the escape artist! He’ll need a secure 6-foot wood fence and should not be left unsupervised in the yard, as he’s been known to find his way out of outdoor kennels and yards. He can be selective with other male dogs, but does well with calmer female companions. With continued obedience training and proper socialization, he’ll blossom even more into the incredible dog he’s meant to be. If you’re looking for a loyal, adventurous, and affectionate partner to join your active lifestyle, this sweet boy might just be the perfect match! Hansel is neutered, microchipped and UTD on shots. His adoption fee is $500.

Story
MEET ROCKY, a 1-year-old Australian Kelpie in need of a foster or forever home! Rocky is a very affectionate dog who loves both humans and dogs alike! He weighs only 40 lbs., and is a loving boy. Kelpies are intelligent dogs, believed to have been descended from Border Collies. They love to be stimulated with walks and other activities. Rocky would do best in an active home where his person or people work from home, or are retired, as he loves company. He'd also thrive in a home with another dog, though it's not a necessity. Story
My dog’s name is Luna, she’s 6 years old and will be 7 in February. She’s a very loving and energetic dog. Loves to cuddle, play with toys and play fetch. She’s listens when you tell her to and understands most commands. I got her on craigslist, she came from Yakima WA. In a home I’m looking for someone to give her the utmost care she needs. I don’t advise having another dog or cat around because she has a resource guarding issues and doesn’t like to hear growling or hissing at all. That’s the reason I have to rehome her. The only time she would fight with my other dog would be if a treat was left out mistakenly. They’ve fought 3 other times only over treats. They recently had another fight over a bone and Luna had never bit down before during any other fight, but she did this time and caused my little dog to need stitches. It breaks my heart to have to rehome her, but it’s what’s best for me and my family. She would be a great fit for someone that is suitable for her needs.
