PLEASE DIRECT INQUIRIES AND APPLICATIONS FOR ADOPTABLE DOGS TO OUR FACEBOOK. WE ARE CURRENTLY UNABLE TO PROCESS APPLICATIONS VIA EMAIL DUE TO LIMITED STAFF. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ Meet Layah! (Estimated DOB 1.2020, estimated weight 35lbs). Layah is a lovely girl with a lot of love to give. She adores her people and likes to play. She loves to be held, petted and cuddled. She is super smart like many heelers, but like most heelers she needs someone to lead her due to her intelligence. Ideally, Layah would like to have her own human. She is an amazing BFF type dog. Layah has been friends with some dogs she has met and not been receptive to others. She is good friends with several male dogs in her foster situation. She is ok with female does on casual meets but we don't think she would do well as roommates to a female dog.She crates well and is clean in her crate. She knows basic commands and walks on lead. Layah's worst fault is that she has EPI. Exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) is a condition characterized by deficiency of the exocrine pancreatic enzymes, resulting in the inability to digest food properly, or maldigestion. This is managed with a dose of enzymes added to her food with water, each time she eats. Her prescription medications cost approximately $100.00 or less a month. She can go with a bottle of her meds until her prescription can get changed over. We adore this girl though and she loves life like any normal dog! Most dogs require a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Shock/electronic fences will not be approved for most dogs. A sturdy, high quality crate is also required (due to safety concerns, no wire or soft crates will be accepted. Impact, Ruffland, 4 point contact locking door Skyline, Zinger Winger, etc type crate). We will be considering homes in W. Wa and possibly Oregon, no other out of state adoptions at this time. Adoption donation is $350. THIS DOG IS IN FOSTER CARE IN POULSBO, WA. MEET AND GREETS WILL TAKE PLACE THERE AS WELL. REQUIREMENTS FOR ADOPTION: - Securely and visibly fenced yard 4ft+ - Sturdy/safe crate, due to the safety hazard wire crates will be not be accepted. OUR CONTACT IS THROUGH FACEBOOK MESSENGER. https://www.facebook.com/REDRescueEveryDog/ Meet Mesquite! (Estimated DOB 9.2020, estimated weight 25lbs) Mesquite is a kind and loveable boy who just wants to be someone's best friend. Mesquite came to us from the streets of Texas with his sister Barbee. He had unfortunately broken a leg while he was on the streets and required a plate to be placed and cage rest until he healed. He now has been medically cleared by our medical team for adoption. We adore this happy boy, and cant wait for him to find a home as awesome as he is. He crates well and is normally quite clean in his crate. He is working on his leash skills, and basic commands. He also has gotten along with other dogs while with us, but can be a little rough playing so he might prefer an only dog home. This dog requires a fenced yard. We seek fully fenced yards with a physical, visible fence. Typically, the fence must be connected to the house/ a door in the home, and the dog safe fenced area must exclude driveway and car access. Story
Brisco is a 30lb, 8 mo old Blue Heeler staying in Kirkland, WA. He's super sweet, social, snuggly, and a quick learner. PNWCDR originally got him and his sister as tiny little things from a hoarding situation, and we thought he'd landed in a permanent place, however due to a change in his adoptive family's situation, he has been returned to us recently. He was originally named Luke as a young pup in case you recognize him. Brisco's ideal home would be one that is experienced with high-drive breeds, and is looking to include him in their activities. He likes whatever you do, as long as he can go. He's great at walking around parks/trails, and is not dog reactive in the situations he's been in with his foster. He's great at riding in the vehicle in a crate. At home, he wants to help you do laundry, trim trees, garden, run errands, or whatever sounds fun! If you have other playful dogs, that only sweetens the deal because he absolutely loves to play with anyone interested, especially if they will chase him. If you're browsing for ACDs, hopefully you know about the breed, and know that they can be very busy, Velcro dogs that are meant to be alongside you, and are waiting for your next instructions. Brisco fits into that category. He's a super cool dog and someone will be lucky to have him. Super smart, sweet, playful, and a totally devoted dog. He really wants to be your everything. Can you be his everything? Brisco is neutered, microchipped and has received age-appropriate core vaccines. He is being fostered in Kirkland WA and the adoption fee is $330. If you're interested in meeting Brisco, please fill out an adoption application on our website: pnwcdr.org/adopt Please note: We do not do DNA testing on our foster dogs. The breed description is our best guess based on the dog’s appearance, mother’s appearance, paperwork, etc. Adoption Process: - Adoption Application - Phone Convo - Meet & Greet - Home Visit - Application Approval - Adoption Fee & Contract Our adoption application is at pnwcdr.org/adopt Curious about fostering? Story
Honey is a silly girl! She is a very friendly, 8-9 mo old puppy that is ready to explore the world! She loves to run the property and play with her foster siblings. She is a little insecure at first when meeting people and other dogs, but with just a few minutes of patience snd encouragement, she opens up to become a dancing, wiggly little puppy. She is a small girl for her age. We don’t expect her to be over 30lbs or so when full grown. Because she is a little insecure, it would be best if she has another playful, well balanced dog in the home to help build her confidence. She’s wonderful with kids, too, so children over 10yrs old would also be great playmates. She doesn’t seem to have strong herding instincts, but she will chase the kitties. It’s best if there are no cats in the home, unless her person is a very experienced handler that can help her learn to live with kitties in harmony. Honey is crate trained and is doing wonderful with her house training. She does still need more leash and manners training, but she is very smart and is learning quickly. She must have a 5ft or higher, securely fenced yard, and because of her young age, she should not be left alone for more than 5-6hr intervals. If you are interested in meeting this wonderful girl please email info@k9rr.org and include your phone number.June 7, 2023, 9:22 am

Story
Darling little Cassidy is barely over 4mo old, weighs a little over 30lbs and was literally rescued from a high kill shelter euthanasia list with just days to go! She is a wonderful little girl that loves everyone so it’s hard to believe her life was at risk! She is safe and now just needs a loving, forever home of her own. She loves to spend her days running around with other dogs so a medium or large doggie playmate in the home would be ideal. She is an active breed mix so her home must be athletically active. And at the end of a busy day, she would love to have people of her own to cuddle with. She is doing great with her crate and house training so she needs just a little more help. A doggy door would be ideal. Cassidy is a very smart girl so lots of training games are a must. Kids over 10yrs old to play with would be great, too. She must have a 6ft securely fenced yard. Because of her young age, she should not be left alone for more than 4-5 hr intervals. If you are interested in meeting Cassidy please email info@k9rr.org and include your phone number.June 7, 2023, 9:22 am
