Story
Meet Porter — the sweetest boy looking for his forever home! Porter is a gentle, loving, and intelligent 1.5-year-old pup who weighs about 40 pounds. With his beautiful markings and alert expression, he might be a mix of Husky or Australian Shepherd. He adores playtime, enjoys his daily walks, and gets along wonderfully with both dogs and older respectful kids 12+. Porter had a tough start in life but with the help of a professional R+ trainer, he has worked through some issues and is learning to be the best boy. New environments can make him a bit unsure, so he needs a patient family who can offer structure, reassurance, and gentle guidance, so Porter will continue to blossom. He would like to join a home with another dog. He’ll happily play the day away with his new furry sibling. He’s active and playful, yet also appreciates quiet time and settles easily. He will do well in a home with humans who listen and respect him when he’s nervous about something and have his back. Porter is also working on his potty training and will need a consistent, structured routine in his new home to help him continue to build good habits. Because of this, Porter is going to be a better fit with a secure fenced in yard. If you are interested in meeting Porter, the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at  https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms  We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. Porter is neutered, utd on vaccs, chipped, and HW-. His adoption fee is $375 and we do not adopt outside of Colorado.December 9, 2025, 5:47 pm

Story
Introducing Eggnog! Eggnog and his siblings came from a New Mexico shelter who thought their mom might be a corgi mix. DNA results show about half herding breeds and half terrier. He is about 10 weeks old and 8lbs, so we believe he will be a small to medium when full grown. Eggnog is the boldest of the litter. He is always the first up and ready to explore and meet new friends. He loves to climb and can often be found napping on top of the puppy pile. Rubber chew toys are his favorite. Eggnog is working on his potty training, and does well sleeping in a pen at night. He loves to play with his siblings, and will even try to wrestle with the adult dogs in his foster home. If you’re interested in meeting Eggnog the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home. He will be neutered, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines. His adoption fee is $400, and we are not adopting outside of Colorado.December 26, 2025, 2:57 pm

Story
Cider and her siblings came from a New Mexico shelter who thought their mom might be a corgi mix. DNA results show half herding breeds and about half terrier.  She is about 10 weeks old and 7lbs, so we believe she will be small to medium when full grown. Cider has beautiful green eyes. She looks to her siblings and other dogs in the home for reassurance when meeting new people or experiencing new things. But she is quick to warm up and very affectionate. Cider is working on her potty training, and does well sleeping in a pen at night. She likes to invite her siblings to play by bouncing up to them with both paws in the air. She would love to have another dog in her forever home. If you’re interested in meeting Cider the first step is to complete our meet and greet application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with everyone in the home.  She will be spayed, microchipped, and up to date on age appropriate vaccines.  Her adoption fee is $400, and we are not adopting outside of Colorado.December 26, 2025, 2:57 pm

Story
Name: Ted Breed: Toy Australian Shepherd Sex: Neutered Male Age: 1 year 6 months Weight: 21 lbs Needs Experienced Adopter, We are seeking a foster-to-adopt home for Ted, someone experienced with dogs who have fear-based reactivity and willing to continue working on his behavior with patience, structure, and training support through PawsCo. Good with dogs? Ted may do best as an only dog, as he can be protective of his food and may feel overwhelmed sharing space. Good with cats? No. Good with kids? No. Energy Level: Medium. Ted loves to romp around, explore the backyard, and play with toys. Once his play needs are met, he settles nicely and enjoys relaxing. Behavioral Needs: Ted spent most of his early life outdoors and is still learning how to be a comfortable indoor companion. He’s working on feeling safe, managing his stranger danger, and sharing resources. Because he struggles with being left alone, he will need a home where someone is home often or works from home. Ted is significantly undersocialized and requires very slow, structured introductions to new people and experiences. Continued professional training will be important for his success. About Ted: Ted is a silly little rascal with a big heart who thrives on fun, exploration, and connection. He’s looking for a patient, committed adopter who can help grow his confidence through gentle guidance, consistent training, and thoughtful socialization. Ted is easily frightened by loud noises, barking dogs, and unfamiliar people, but with love and support, he can learn that the world is safe. Despite his rocky start, he is ready to blossom and share his playful, curious, sweet puppy personality with the right person. Please learn more about the adoption process and fill out an application at www.pawsco.org/adopt/adoption-process. You can also contact my friends at PawsCo at adopt@pawscoadoptions.org if you have questions. I look forward to meeting you!

Story
Meet Milton  Milton's story begins in a grocery store parking lot on the reservation, where his family brought the entire litter in hopes of giving the puppies away. Thankfully, a compassionate good Samaritan stepped in, gathered all the babies, and reached out to the rescue for help. While the family would not give us mama, we did secure a spay appointment so she won’t have to go through another litter. Because of the kindness and quick action of a stranger, Milton is now safe, thriving, and ready to begin his own bright future. Milton’s Personality & Progress Confident and outgoing: Milton and his siblings are a joyful, social bunch—there isn’t a shy pup in this litter. Wellcaredfor beginnings: Their original family clearly loved them; they arrived fat, happy, and wonderfully playful. Smart as can be: He already follows his foster mom in and out for potty breaks and comes when he’s called. Great crate habits: At night, he sleeps soundly with his siblings in their comfy wire crate. Carride approved: He’s been on a few rides and handles the car like a pro. Brave and full of zest: Milton approaches life with enthusiasm, curiosity, and a bold little spirit. Why You’ll Love Him  Milton is the kind of puppy who makes every day feel a little brighter. He’s playful, peopleoriented, and wonderfully eager to learn. His confidence and intelligence shine through in everything he does—from trotting after his foster mom to mastering new routines with ease. His estimated birthday is November 27, 2025, though we don’t know the exact date. His mom looks to be an Australian Shepherd mix so we think the puppies are Australian Shepherd / Australian Cattle Dog and several other rez breeds. CHECK OUT THEIR VERY OWN FACEBOOK PAGE WHICH HAS LOTS MORE PICS AND VIDEOS!  https://www.facebook.com/share/19HuSCuSUb/ If you would like to adopt/foster please apply at https://www.circle2rescue.com/dog-adoption-application/  The adoption fee of $500 includes the spay/neuter, vaccinations, deworming and microchip.   ##2615793##
