Story
Paisley is a sweet, cuddly little puppy with the coolest tiger markings.  She is a little braver than her sister and loves to snuggle up to her foster family for pets and patty-cake. She’s a little more reserved around her large doggy foster siblings but loves to wrestle and play with her sister.  Paisley has been working hard on her potty training and sleeping in the crate at night. Training should go well with the right treats. Paisley is a one of a kind pup that would make a great addition to the family. Come meet her this weekend!  ##1981540##

Story
Phoenix is a cool little dog. While it may take a little longer to win her over, it is well worth it once you do. She is a sweet little shadow who is learning to love pets and cuddles. She’s a little shy towards new people and situations, but is coming more out of her shell daily. She loves other dogs and will try to play with anyone that will let her. Phoenix is crazy smart! She learned the dog door on her own in 1 day! She’s working on her potty and crate training, which is going well with some good treats. Phoenix is going to be a great dog for someone who puts in a little time and training. Come meet her and her pretty hazel eyes Saturday!  ##1981539##

Story
Hello there! My name is Hester, and I'm a charming 40 lb Australian Shepherd mix. I'm here to tell you a bit about myself! First things first, I absolutely adore cuddling! There's nothing better than snuggling up close and feeling all the love. I do take a little time to warm up to new environments, though. I'm a curious girl, so I like to check things out before I dive right in. Having other dogs around really boosts my confidence! I love their company, and when it comes to playing with bigger dogs, I can hold my own just fine (ask my foster brother the 100lb German Shepherd). I'm great on a leash and enjoy going for leisurely strolls around the neighborhood. My foster mom has been teaching me lots of cool commands, and I've picked up sit, down, and here. I'm super smart and very food motivated, so I'm always eager to learn new things.I also love to follow my foster mom around, sticking close by her side wherever she goes! I wouldn't say I'm a hyper dog; I like to play for a bit and then I'm ready to relax. I'm also excellent in my crate at night, and my potty training is coming along really well. Overall, I'm a sweet, loving, and intelligent pup looking for my forever home. If you're looking for a cuddle buddy who's also up for a little adventure, then I'm your girl!  ##1981544##

Story
Hero is still learning how to be a Dog. He's made so much progress in the short time he's been our foster. He was very scared and unsure at first, but with some encouragement he has gained some confidence. He is unsure with new people but warms up pretty well. He is a big lover like a teddy bear, he loves to cuddle.  He is learning to walk on a leash, not perfect but has made progress. Working with him on sit, stay and some basic commands, he is a smart boy! He is starting to get the idea of potty goes outside.  Still working on potty training, but he is learning. I have 2 small dogs of my own and he has gotten along with them well, he likes to tease them to get them to play with him and they chase eachother around. He loves to play with toys, tug-o-war is his favorite. He sleeps in his kennel at night like a little angel. Hero is the best boy!   ##1981545##

Story
Freya is 4 years old and very energetic. She was a rescue dog and can be very protective and high alert. She tends to be more trusting and affectionate towards men. She needs someone who can take her on long walks or has a nice large yard for her to run and play. She tends to be apprehensive of strangers and takes some time to warm up to new people. Would be most suited with someone without kids or other dogs in the home.

Story
Keeley was rescued at 5 weeks old off the side of the road in Wyoming! From day one she was the sweetest most expressive pup! Her nickname is Dobby for this Harry Potter loving friends. She is loyal and aware of emotions! I have always thought she would be an amazing service dog because she senses emotions. She needs to be in a home with older kids or no kids and not other pets to compete with! We have tried but unfortunately she is too stressed in our home and she would be so much happier in a home where she is the only little love!

Story
Anyone looking for a rewarding project?  I’m a sweet Australian Shepard mix that started my life on my own.  I’m learning to trust and learn how to be loved because I probably spent my youngster days living on my own.  I do well with other dogs my size and older, still learning my boundaries.  Since I was on my own, cats are probably not a great idea.  I would do well living with another active dog to show me the ropes.  Want to be loved on and getting better everyday.   I will turn out to be a beautiful hiking partner and May end up being 55-60 pounds.  ##1730239##

Meet Cookie! Sugar and spice and everything nice...with a dash of sass! This pup is social, playful, and spunky. A bit of an instigator with her siblings, she adores spending time with adults, kids and other doggos. Cookie loves to explore and is confident and curious. She would make an awesome hiking, biking, camping, outdoor companion. At 9 weeks old, Cookie weighs in at 10 pounds and will likely be a medium sized adult. She is currently being fostered in a home with four adults, two kiddos (7 yo and 11 yo) and three resident dogs. Easygoing and friendly, Cookie would easily adapt to just about any home environment. She is being fostered in Arvada and woul love to meet potential adopters. ##1992049##

Story
Sherbert is a fun, confident, happy almost 10 week old baby girl.  That is less than 100 days old, but she and her sisters are ready for their next adventures.  Sherbert loves playing with her sister and the big dogs in foster.  She is good with the cat who is currently bigger than she is!  We expect this little Aussie Sheperd mix to be a medium sized adult, but we do not know who the parents were.  These pups were raised in foster since they were about a month old.  The Rescue prefers Sherbert have a home with another dog to play with.  She has her first two DA2PP vaccinations, so she will need two more plus a rabies when she is 5 months old.  She is already spayed, so this beautiful girl will never have to have a litter of puppies.  She is microchipped and super healthy.  Fostered in Arvada.  Apply to meet her! ##1992051##

Rose is looking for her perfect forever home.  Her mom was born and raised in the streets of San Antonio, TX and her rescuer was not about to let her or her siblings live that same life. So now Rose is ready to find her own family. She can't wait to meet her new mom and dad and would love to have siblings (four legged or two). If you are looking for a snuggle buddy through the cold winter months, she is your girl! ##1951755##

Story
Hi! My name is Graham and I’m a mellow dude. I love to chill, give kisses, and cuddle with my foster parents. I also love to cuddle with my foster bro. He likes to play a lot so I play with him but when I’m left to be, I just hang. I am potty trained and walk well on a leash. I get along great with other dogs and love people. I am a little afraid of new things I haven’t seen before like a garbage truck, but after a little comfort and a few times of seeing it, I’m just fine! I’m also crate trained. I easily like to lay down in there and I sleep a full night with no barking. I rarely bark. I’m smart but silly too. I learned how to sit, paw, down, and be potty trained very quickly!    ##1944700##

Story
Hey there!  My name is Clementine but my foster endearingly calls me "lefty" because I do spins to the left.  I am the SWEETEST gal you will ever meet.  I will always greet you with tail wags and kisses and every time I see you will be like the first time.  I am blind in one eye and have partial vision in my left eye which we think is why I spin to the left. It helps me orient myself in spaces.  Despite my accident, I'm your typical puppy and I am 100% trainable and extremely smart! I eat my food and drink my water in my raised bowl/non tip so I don't knock it over.  I play with my favorite foster brother and chase him around or wrestle with him.  I walk on my leash well too!  I am very respectful of the other dogs in my foster home who don't want to play with me and take their corrections well.  I know sit like a pro, I'm working on stay, and "off" when all fours should be on the floor, and go right into my kennel when asked.  I am very food motivated! I love to be pet and cuddled and will snuggle up to the humans or my foster brother.  I love playing with my toys like any puppy does! I sleep in my kennel at night without a peep and make very little noise when I'm up in the morning and wait patiently to be let out.  I use the dog door and I am potty trained! I am such a sweet girl and know my perfect family is out there!   My forever home should have a yard for me to run around in, and humans who are home most of the time, long periods in a kennel are just not the best for me.  I would love if my forever home had another dog who loves to play, I promise to help tire us both out! Come meet me at Petco in Denver, 4100 E. Mexico Blvd from 12-3 every Saturday.  I will be so thrilled to meet you and show you just how sweet I am! ##1751442##

Story
Frank is an absolute sweetheart! He is quite the outdoorsman: his favorite spot during the day is the back porch where he loves to nap. He is definitely a goofball but also very sweet. He loves playing with our 2-year old dog. They enjoy wrestling and chasing each other around the backyard. After he’s done playing, he cozies up with us on the couch. He is very soft and loves to be pet (he will let you know if you’re not done yet). He’s good on a leash, though he’s excited to go on walks and so can pull a bit. However, he is a quick learner and is getting better at this with each walk. He’s very smart and picked up “sit” and how to use the dog door right away. He’s very patient when we brush him and is good at sharing toys/water/food with our dog. He is potty trained, crate trained, and sleeps through the night. Frank will make a great addition to any home! ##2008386##
