Hero is the hero we all need! Hero has come such a long way since entering his foster home. He was very scared and unsure at first, but with some encouragement he has gained a lot of confidence. He is unsure with new people but warms up pretty well and is sure to be your velcro dog once he trusts you. He is a big lover like a teddy bear, he loves to cuddle. Hero does great walking on a leash and loves to learn new things. He knows how to sit, stay and some oter basic commands, he is a smart boy! Hero is potty trained and crate trained! I have 2 small dogs of my own and he has gotten along with them well, he likes to tease them to get them to play with him and they chase eachother around. Carmen is a two year old mixed breed dog who looks a little bit Aussie and a little bit something unknown. She is very smart with a huge capacity for learning additional obedience, tricks, and more. Carmen is dog-friendly, kid-friendly, housebroken, and crate-trained. Her foster crates her when she leaves the house, as she does like to chew. She is not a runner, but has learned she can clear short fences to get to the front door, so would do best with a privacy fence or in a leash walk household. Carmen is on the petite side at less than 40 pounds, and we think she'd love outdoor activities like hiking. She is spayed, vaccinated, heartworm tested negative, wormed, treated for parasites, and microchipped with registration. Carmen's adoption fee is $350.

Poppy (fka Noelle) is a fun sweet energetic almost 9 mos old aust shepherd/cattledog mix with some poodle and several other breeds. She is about 37#, loves other dogs, was curious about but friendly with the foster cat, and loves to go on walkies and hiking. Poppy can be a little shy at first but it doesn't last long. Poppy is looking for an active home with another younger friendly dog to play with, a 5 ft fenced in (no chain link) backyard to run around, and humans who are not gone long hours. She has learned some basic cues and loves to learn new things. She has not been tested with children but a respectful older child 10+ should be fine as she does jump some. She is a sweet puppy who likes to cuddle but also is ready to play at a moment's notice. She can be a bit of a wild child when she plays but settles down after she is sufficiently exercised. She is crate trained at night, potty trained, and sleeps through the night if she potties right before bedtime. She may need a refresher in a new home with a new routine. She is not a good fit for an apartment situation as she does have the Heeler bark but doesn’t use it unnecessarily. Hi everybody! I'm Irvin! I may look like a border collie, but as I grow, I’m starting to look and act more like a Labrador puppy! I’m full of energy, and I love to play a lot! But then when I’m finished, I flop down and have a good nap. I love going for walks on my leash and am interested in everything that I see and smell! My fosters say that I’m very attentive and very smart! I’m working on potty training and do pretty well with that (with an occasional mess up). I’m very good at “sit”, “lie down” and “touch”, and I’m working on “leave it” and “come”. I’m still learning what is ok to chew on, but I’m ok when things are taken away from me. Lil baby Sera is one if not the sweetest dog I’ve ever had the pleasure of knowing. She loves other dogs but loves her human companion the most. She is OBSESSED with cuddling, and if she had the option she would nestle beside you forever. Her next favorites are exploring, playing, and the periodic puppy zoomies. We are currently learning on how not to be so afraid of the leash, getting better at potty training, and basic commands.
