Story
Tuuli here; in case you’re wondering about my unusual name it’s Finnish for wind and when I do zoomies I run like the wind, whether there’s a toy in my mouth, on my own or with the other dogs. So speaking of other dogs, do you have one or more that need a friend? I would love a home with a dog friend, you see I’m one of those shy girls who needs a pal to give her confidence and to teach her how to dog. I’m not clingy with my dog friends, I happily play and self entertain as well. I am slow to trust the 2 legged types but I am really curious about them and I’m trying to be brave.  I will need a yard as I have no real experience on a leash (we are working on it) also I get so much joy from sniffing and running. My kennel is my safe space, I sleep through the night and go potty outside.  I have a zest for life and I’m truly a happy loving dog looking for a quiet patient home. Are you the one to bring me out of my shell? I promise you will be rewarded with the most amazing sweet, loving friend. If it sounds like we could be a match I’m patiently waiting for you. Please fill out the application and thank you for reading my profile. If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $300 and I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations  ##2710814##

Story
Rooster is a handsome one-year-old cattle dog mix with a sweet soul and a playful spirit. This lovable boy enjoys the simple things in life — relaxing beside you while you watch TV, soaking up attention from his people, and stretching his legs outside where he can run and explore. Like many cattle dogs, Rooster has an active side and would thrive with a family that enjoys an adventurous companion and can give him plenty of exercise and enrichment. Rooster is settling into foster care nicely and continues to show what a sweetheart he is. Because he’s still adjusting and learning to trust new people and environments, his foster recommends a patient adopter who will give him time to acclimate and feel secure in his new home. A home with a secure 6-foot fence is strongly recommended, and using a yard leash during the transition period will help set him up for success as he bonds with his forever family. If there’s another dog in the home, Rooster would benefit from a slow, thoughtful introduction. Meet-and-greets are encouraged to help ensure everyone is a good fit. With patience, structure, and love, Rooster has all the makings of an incredibly loyal and devoted companion. If you’re looking for a sweet, active pup who’s equally happy cuddling on the couch and adventuring outdoors, Rooster may just be your perfect match! ##2722672##

Story
Stella is an amazing dog! Well behaved, obedient, loves kids, gets along well with other dogs and cats. She is a bit of a velcro dog and always wants to be with you but can stay at home for extended hours alone. She doesn't like noisy, crowded places. Stella weighs about 40lbs. She gets daily walks and loves to go to the park for a game of fetch the ball. She is mostly under voice command and doesn't require a leash, although walks well on one when needed. She is very food motivated and will work for a treat! I am only rehoming her because I am moving out of the country for health reasons and it is too hard to ask her to make such a big move.

Story
Lux was born July 2017. I adopted him when he was 4 months old. He's good with kids and new people. He's such a lover and loves butt scratch's. He's house trained loves to go on car rides and does well at the dogs parks too. His one downfall is the guy loves the trash. For whatever reason anytime he gets his chance he will rummage through the trash. 🤦🏻‍♀️ Unfortunately I've had a schedule change and I am not home as often as I need to be therefore he has been acting up for attention and it's just not fair to him. He has a brother and a sisters he's more bonded to his sister, but I think would do fine if separated.

These pups are in Broomfield, Colorado too!

Story
Alfie is the kind of dog who quietly becomes your right-hand guy before you even realize it. One look into those soft, sweet eyes and he’s either melted into your lap or settled at your feet like he’s always belonged there. He’s a happy, spunky little puppy with a surprisingly gentle, almost goofy presence—honestly, he kind of gives off a little platypus energy in the best way. Alfie came in as a stray after being hit by a car, but his leg is healing beautifully on its own and hasn’t slowed him down one bit. He moves through life with curiosity, resilience, and a constant little tail wag. He’s in that classic puppy stage—playful, a little mouthy, and learning boundaries—so toys and chews are key. He absolutely loves other dogs and would thrive with a playful companion, and he’s a big fan of snuggle time once he’s gotten his wiggles out. He's great on his leash, learning his house manners and overall is just a sweet little (getting bigger every day) guy. If you’re looking for a loyal little sidekick—equal parts playful, cuddly, and quietly devoted—Alfie is your guy. To meet him, go to eapl.com and fill out an application. His adoption fee is $375 May 12, 2026, 2:48 pm
