Story
Meet Clark! Clark is a beautiful red merle Australian Shepherd that weighs 30 pounds and is about 5 years old. Clark has a joy for life and all the it brings! He loves to be outside playing, sun bathing and doing all the outside fun doggy stuff! Clark has done well with kids and all the other dog friends he has met but would probably be best in a cat free home. He does well on a leash and will let you know when he needs to go outside and go potty. Clark really prefers not to be crated so if a crate was going to be needed he would need some help learning crates can be safe and not scary. Clark had bloodwork and a dental cleaning at a recent vet visit.
Interested in becoming a forever home for Clark? For immediate consideration, please fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we DO NOT go any further without an application.
If there are multiple dogs that you are interested in, please fill out an application for each dog. This does not include bonded pairs, one application will be fine. We have different adoption coordinators working with different dogs, and your application may be missed if you only apply once.
Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws .
We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Clark.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Clark the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
