Story
Meet a timid lady Jinhee🩷 Jinhee was abandoned by a foreign worker. She used to hide in fear just from the sight of people’s hands. Even though she was facing the risk of euthanasia since she wasn’t used to being around humans, she's getting better now thanks to her foster family. Thanks to her foster who was understanding and patient for Jinhee, she now plays with people she trusts! Her days are being filled with more and more compliments. If you understand and wait for her, you will be able to see Jinhee’s ever growing love! You need to approach her carefully because she can be surprised or uncomfortable with people who scream, or makes large gestures or actions. *Socialization -Dogs: She feels uncomfortable with dogs who approach her too actively, but she greets well with other calm dogs. She prefers to take a stroll around with her foster rather than running around with other dogs. -Cats: She is not interested in cats she meets during walks. * Separation anxiety: Mild anxiety * Toilet training: Uses a pee pad well! She might confuse the blanket for a pee pad in unfamiliar places. * Bark: She doesn't bark a lot. She sometimes barks a little at the digital door lock's noise. * Bathing: she doesn't like taking a bath, but is patient. * She is generally calm and quiet but she gets active indoors playing with her foster! She enjoys playing tug or fetch with her foster. She rests during the day and likes to play at night. ❤️ * No carsickness. * There's a bit of shedding, but it can be more according to the season! She loves brushing. * Mastered commands: Sit, hand, cheer up, kisses to foster family! * Likes: foster family, treats 💙Jinhee’s Foster Instagram: @adogs_jinhee

Story
Meet Gyumi💗💗 * Interaction with people: Is shy and reserved. He smells people passing by and shows curiosity, but finds it awkward when they come close. He is not used to his foster family's touching yet, and hides in the corner when you try to touch him, but stays still if you actually touch him, and even follows if you go somewhere else. When he gets used to it, he opens himself up and eats snacks if you give him some. * Interaction with dogs: Is not comfortable with other dogs. Is scared of dogs who bark and run at him. With slowly-approaching dogs, he smells them face-to-face but soon turns away. * Interaction with cats: He shows uneasiness and wariness around cats, even during walks, where he tends to keep his distance. * Separate Anxiety : He spends time alone well. Sometimes, he lies down looking at the door, but soon goes to the bed and falls asleep! Wags his tail and welcomes you when you come back home. * Potty Training : Prefers100% outdoor potty! * Hygienic : He's still learning to become comfortable with bathing, grooming, and teeth brushing, but he tolerates them without mouthing. Gets scared and tries to run away at the sound of dryers, but so towel or fan (dryers very shortly if needed) is used to dry tim. * Walking : Walks in step with the walker and enjoys taking a walk! He's a bit afraid of the leash but waits patiently until it's put on. Is scared of cars or motorcycles. Prefers walking near the bush or where there are no people. * Car Sickness : Is okay with riding a car, and stays well in the car seat. May vomit on winding roads. 💌Special Notes💌 * Gyumi is getting used to his malformed bones after suffering a long-time fracture to his shoulder and back. As he has no issues in walking, the vet's opinion is that surgery is unnecessary. * He can take easy walks, but running or intense exercise is not allowed. * Mastered “sit” and has a big potential of learning other skills once he gets used to physical contact with people! 💟Health Status💟 * Neutered * Others: Microchipped, Completed heartworm treatment. * Even though having a dislocated left shoulder and shattered&stiffened right shoulder, he has no problem walking. However, it may hurt for him if he moves vigorously, so close observation is needed. * Has vision in his right eye but his left eye is blind. His fur is currently shaved off because his skin was not healthy. He scratches a bit, but it's getting much better and his dead skin cells are unseen now unlike before.

Story
Howdy Northeastern people, my name is Oreo and I am looking for a forever home in your area. I am a lovely Australian Shepherd/Pointer mix, about 3 years old, 55 lbs, and I was dumped in San Antonio Texas along with my 5 puppies. Thankfully, we were all picked up by a dog rescue so I could finish my mama duties, be spayed and vaccinated and now I am ready to meet you. I am a very sweet and happy girl, easily making friends with humans and other dogs. I have a relaxed vibe and I’ll make do with whatever life throws at me and not complain about it. I’m smart and eager to please, and I love spending time with my people and going for walks or rides in the car. I am affectionate, well-behaved, rarely bark, and will make an amazing faithful companion dog. If I caught your eye, I’ll probably steal your heart, and we could be living happily ever after. Inquire about me today and take me home! * 4 Little Paws is based in CT. We adopt in many different states along the East Coast. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. If you are located outside the states we typically adopt to, we have options to get the dog of your dreams to your location.

Story
Location: Korea Rescue Story: Prince Hans is a remarkable dog with an even more remarkable story. Rescued from deplorable conditions at a gas station, he endured a life of neglect, tied up and surviving on coffee and food scraps. His life took a turn for the better when a compassionate resident, who had cared for him and another dog named Sleeping Beauty, stepped in to save them from an uncertain and bleak future. Physical Description: Prince Hans is a medium-sized mixed-breed dog with striking features. His coat is a handsome blend of caramel and white, with soulful brown eyes that speak volumes of his resilience and longing for a loving home. Personality: Energy Level: Prince Hans is a calm and gentle soul, scoring a 4 on the energy scale. He enjoys a leisurely pace and appreciates a peaceful environment. Barking: You'll hardly hear a peep from Prince Hans. He's a quiet and composed companion who prefers to listen and observe. Leash Manners: After three months of dedicated training, Prince Hans has transformed from a strong leash-puller into a well-behaved walker. He now strolls calmly by your side, making walks a pleasure for both of you. Appetite: Prince Hans has a hearty appetite and eagerly devours his meals. He's not a picky eater and enjoys a well-balanced diet. Bathing: While he may not particularly enjoy bath time, Prince Hans patiently stands still. He's a cooperative dog who understands that some things are part of the grooming routine. Treats and Walks: Prince Hans lights up when it's treat time or time for a leisurely walk. These are some of his favorite activities, and you'll see his excitement shine through during these moments. Otherwise, he's content to lounge quietly and relax. Training: Prince Hans already knows commands like "Sit" and "Stay," which is a testament to his intelligence and eagerness to please. He's a quick learner and is ready to embark on further training adventures with his new family. Ideal Home: Prince Hans would thrive in a calm and loving home where he can continue to heal from his past experiences. He's a perfect fit for individuals or families seeking a loyal and low-energy companion who appreciates the simple pleasures in life. He would do well in a home with a secure yard for leisurely strolls and playtime. Adoption Notes: Prince Hans has come a long way from the gas station where he was found. He's a survivor with a heart of gold, and all he's looking for now is a forever home filled with love, patience, and understanding. If you're ready to open your heart to this resilient and gentle soul, Prince Hans will reward you with unwavering loyalty and a lifetime of companionship. Adopt Prince Hans and give him the loving family he so deserves. ALL adoptions require a completed application and final contract. The application can be found at  WaldosRescue.org  and once you are approved to adopt you will be put in touch with the foster to see if it’s a good match. We are a RESCUE not a shelter. We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process.
