Meet Ryong🩵 He came into Korean city shelter in winter. He was very timid, but he improved a lot through a training program. He is now adapting to his new foster family! He doesn’t like to be touched because of his timid personality. He lowers his tail and backs up. These days, he’s slowly opening his heart! He is a good-natured boy who approaches dog friends he meets while taking a walk in a gentle manner, and asks to play with them after sniffing each other. In particular, he is a well-mannered dog that approaches small puppies more cautiously! He is doing really well with his foster dog friend. But he is fearful of too reactive or bigger dogs. He’s not particularly interested in cats. * Separation Anxiety: None. There's no barking or yelling. * Potty training: He prefers outdoor potty. No marking behavior indoors, and goes well on the pad. * Energy level (1-10): lv.3~4 * He loves walks! He walks by your side. He’s been showing a bit of pulling so currently training with foster family. * He doesn’t have a big appetite. He only likes treats and not kibble but he’s working on it! * He can be a bit stubborn. * He doesn’t really like touching his feet😢 His front feet are more sensitive than his back. Meet a timid lady Jinhee🩷 Jinhee was abandoned by a foreign worker. She used to hide in fear just from the sight of people’s hands. Even though she was facing the risk of euthanasia since she wasn’t used to being around humans, she's getting better now thanks to her foster family. Thanks to her foster who was understanding and patient for Jinhee, she now plays with people she trusts! Her days are being filled with more and more compliments. If you understand and wait for her, you will be able to see Jinhee’s ever growing love! You need to approach her carefully because she can be surprised or uncomfortable with people who scream, or makes large gestures or actions. *Socialization -Dogs: She feels uncomfortable with dogs who approach her too actively, but she greets well with other calm dogs. She prefers to take a stroll around with her foster rather than running around with other dogs. -Cats: She is not interested in cats she meets during walks. * Separation anxiety: Mild anxiety * Toilet training: Uses a pee pad well! She might confuse the blanket for a pee pad in unfamiliar places. * Bark: She doesn't bark a lot. She sometimes barks a little at the digital door lock's noise. * Bathing: she doesn't like taking a bath, but is patient. * She is generally calm and quiet but she gets active indoors playing with her foster! Meet Younghee🩷 She is very affectionate and gives kisses. She's very interested in people she meets first time but if someone comes at her, she gets uncomfortable and can show her teeth out of anxiety. She can be sensitive to a person moving the hand and gets sensitive her right paw and the buttock to be petted. Better to touch these areas after she gets more acquainted. *Separation anxiety: None. Can stay by herself for about 4 hours. *Housebroken: 100%! But she can make a mistake if she gets anxious. Due to the rainy season, Young Hee couldn’t go outside to potty, so she is having some urinary tract infection (After taking a medication and going out walks occasionally, she is getting better). * walk: Loves, loves outside walking! If you take out the leash, she waits in front of the door. Getting more used to her walking road so can greet dogs who are well mannered! If some dogs come at her too quickly or meeting outgoing doggy friends, she gets uncomfortable and stays away in a distance. * cats: Has some hunting instinct so if she sees the cat or birds, she chases them after. *Has low energy indoors. Likes to play sqeaky toy or ball play and she also likes tug play! *In indoor, she might bark just out of precaution. Doesn’t bark at neighbor’s sound but when a motorcycle or the delivery car visits, she will bark (4-5 times daily).🥲 *Once the trust is built, she can tolerate teeth brushing or trimming the dewclaw that can be uncomfortable for her.👍🏻 💙 Foster Instagram: @adopt_young_hee

Meet a timid girl, Miyoung🩷 She was brought to Korean City Shelter with a collar that was too small for her and had dug into her skin.😢 Concerned by the poor shelter environment and risk for infection in her wounded skin on her neck, we rescued her immediately. We don’t know what kind of experiences she’s had, but she was very fearful of people and did not want to come near anyone. Fortunately, she was taken in by a warm foster family and learning to be around people. We hope and wish for a loving forever family for our gentle Miyoung. 🙏🏻 * Potty Training: Because going for walks is difficult for her now, she goes potty indoors, and she sometimes has accidents.😭 * Doesn’t approach people first, but she is very gentle and docile even when being held for nail clipping or hair trimming. 🥰 * Got along well with other dogs at the Adogs Center even though she doesn’t actively play with them. * Fearful and wary of people and not comfortable with people’s attention. She is very sensitive to noise so she hides in a corner. 😣 * When she has to do something she does not like such as going in her crate, she sometimes has an accident on the spot. 😭 * She eats, drinks, and goes potty at nights when it’s quiet. During the day, she only eats when you feed her directly with your hands. * No nipping, doesn’t make any mess, no barking! ⭐️ Miyoung’s Foster Instagram: @adogs_miyoung 💙 Health issues / Vaccination records: Finished treatment for heartworms(Needed retest) Dental cleaning completed. * She has partial dental fracture and luxating patella. * She is taking stress-relieving medication twice a day.
