This beautiful girl is a joy to be around. She’s amazing on a leash, has no prey drive, and walking with her is a real pleasure. She’s fully house-trained, has no separation anxiety, and is just the perfect medium size! Casey gets along great with other dogs and doesn’t mind cats. She’s calm, gentle, and very affectionate. Give her a day or two to settle in, and she’ll become very attached to you. A shelter volunteer found lovely Casey in a town center, where she spent days searching for her owner. Sadly, she’d been abandoned. Now, she’s in a foster home in NJ, ready for a loving family who enjoys both outdoor adventures and cozy couch time. If you’re looking for a walking buddy and a loyal, snuggly friend, Casey is the perfect dog for you! Despite losing his front right leg just a few months ago, Georgie has adapted remarkably well and doesn't let it slow him down when it’s time to run, play, or curl up for a nap under the bed. While he’s had some trauma, Georgie is eager to learn how to love and trust again. With a little patience, you'll watch him transform from a shy pup who curls up in a corner to one that wags his tail in excitement and gently reaches out with his left paw asking for pets. Georgie is still discovering the joy of toys and treats (he’s slowly warming up to treats), but he already adores cuddles, scratches, and even those early morning belly rubs during walks! Though he’s good on a leash, a home with a fenced yard would be ideal, as he sometimes gets a bit off balance. He’s a high-energy dog who loves to run and stretch his legs. Georgie is still gaining strength and recovering from his amputation, but he’s got a great appetite, a playful attitude, and a heart full of love. While he’s a bit timid around loud noises and sudden movements, his fears are fading day by day. My name is Rosie and I am 60 lbs and 3 years old. I am a young adult - great age and out of the puppy stages! ASCZ definitely thinks I have heeler in me; watch my video - my gait and the way I play says "heeler." Probably some Border Collie too and maybe a touch of Shepherd. There is something in there that is keeping me a bit fluffier than a typical heeler/BC. Either way, I am awesome. I am housebroken and crate-trained. I am active and I love to run around the yard. I have been good with all the dogs I have met. I do not think I would have any issue with children; however, I might get excited and knock them over but that's about the extent of my worry! We would suggest 8+. I am independent but also affectionate. I walk well on leash too! If you like nice long walks, I could totally be your partner! I am great with other dogs, good with cats and I get very attached to my people. I have lived with school aged children without an issue, 8+, and I have been around younger ones when I am out and about. I love to zoom around my yard and play with toys. I am housebroken and crate-trained. I will go in my crate on his own without an issue. I am fine if my humans need to run out for a few hours here and there.
