Meet Jake Okie! Jake is a 10 month old Siberian husky and Australian Shepherd mix. He weighs about 23 pounds and will be much bigger when fully grown. He is good in a crate and great with other dogs. He came to us through the shelter and he was on his final day. He and his sister were very scared and nobody wanted to help them, so FWFP stepped in. He is doing much better in his foster home. At first, he only coward in the corner and now he’s going in and outside on his own. He will need a fenced in yard and a doggy friend or two. he will need lots of time and patience to help him with his confidence and know that he is safe! We think Copper probably has some Australian Shepherd, along with several other breeds including possibly Belgian Shepherd. Greyhound or Carolina dog. Copper is a beautiful and happy boy. He’s lucky to be alive! Copper came to us from the shelter at a time when he was minutes from losing his life because he had an upper respiratory infection.
