Meet Brisbane the Aussie with the Beautiful Baby Blue Eyes! ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS METROPLEX It’s the Aussie family from “Down Under”…. Actually they are really from Down South (South TX) but who doesn’t love a beautiful Australian Shepherd and her pups! We were asked to help Sydney and her tiny babies and thankfully one of our super fosters took them in. These “mates” are all grown up now and ready for forever homes! Brisbane-Boy Has a Nub tail n more smooth coat. Double blue eyes. Very energetic, comes running to his foster mom when she calls. All the pups are very social and play with all of the other dogs. Brisbane loves, loves, loves playing in the water whether on the splash pad, chasing the water hose or in the puppy swimming pool! When he isn't in the water he is grabbing toys from inside the house and taking outside to run around the yard to see if any of the other dogs will chase him, Full of energy and love waiting for his furever home. My name is Fiona and I am a sweet bundle of energy! I am a very loyal companion who wants all your attention and absolutely love children! Although I sometimes have to be reminded not to jump I’m getting better at that. I am not a fan of cats when they run. It makes me want to chase them. I am more fond of women sometimes men can scare me at first, but once I get to know them and with a few treats I’ll be your best friend. I enjoy being around dogs. Except I don’t care for dogs with high energy like me. It makes me nervous. I really love to go on runs and I love my toys. I love chew toys. It feels good on my puppy teeth and I love stuffy toys. I do better in my crate after I’ve had plenty of exercise and if you have dogs at home meeting them first would make me feel better. I absolutely love water. My foster mom bought me my own kitty pool and it’s my favorite thing to do besides following around my foster mama. I’ve been living with two children, age two and seven and I love my foster kids. When I finally am awake I am a big cuddle bug. I like to give hugs and kisses if you let me, I am a big baby with a huge heart of gold! I’ve also got to spend time with some of my foster mom‘s dogs, and I do well with dogs who won’t make me feel intimidated I’ve not been around farm animals and since I want to chase foster mom’s kitties, she doesn’t think cats or farm animals are the best for me. A family with kids and maybe the right dog would be my perfect fit as I don’t like to be left alone for too long, but I do sleep at night now in my crate. It’s really big crate with plenty of space to not feel so isolated and my mom plays music for me and I love it. It helps soothe me when I am too excited. I’m not really bothered by thunderstorms or fireworks although I wouldn’t want to be taken to a firework show. I actually stay calm if I can hear them while inside. I love to talk/bark when I get excited my tail wags like crazy and I will do spins in circles to show you how cute and smart I am. I catch on pretty quickly to routines and overall just want to be around my people. I know my perfect home is out there and would love to meet you to see if you are the one. Story

We rescued Mako off the highway outside of Midlothian when someone dumped him along with his entire litter and parents. Someone was able to wrangle the rest of the family and as we were driving off, Mako was wandering around away from the rest of his pack and was left behind. We took him in trying to find him a home and he started to grow on us and we decided to take him in as part of the family for a while. As time has passed, he’s continued growing much bigger than we imagined and he never misses an opportunity to play, especially with other dogs. Unfortunately, with our busy schedule and moving between a couple different apartments over the last year, it’s becoming increasingly difficult to meet his needs and let him run free and play as much as he’d like to. He will make a great addition to another family who is experienced with large dogs and has the facilities to let him play freely. (Will include his kennel, treats, toys, and a large bag of food upon adoption)

Story

Pegasus is 5 years old and was born on a ranch in Central Texas to one Aussie and one Border Collie parent. He lived his first 4 years in with a family of 4 kids and his brother on a large piece of property. Our move last year has them living in a suburb with a small yard. Pegaus enjoys exploring, playing fetch, and lots of head scratches and cuddles. He is good with kids and is not agressive. He loves people and does jump up on new people he thinks have come to play with him. Barking at squirrels/birds, dogs walking by (we live right behind the walk path), the garbage man and other city things have pushed us to look at rehoming. He is a great dog, but our house and yard are just too small. Because we live in a smaller area, they cannot explore and run free. They have gotten in trouble with the HOA for barking. Pegasus would do so well with more space, but also enjoys being inside with the family. He loves walks and hikes. We want him to live his best life with more space to roam!
