Meet Brisbane the Aussie with the Beautiful Baby Blue Eyes! ALL PETS AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION ONLY TO RESIDENTS OF THE DALLAS METROPLEX It’s the Aussie family from “Down Under”…. Actually they are really from Down South (South TX) but who doesn’t love a beautiful Australian Shepherd and her pups! We were asked to help Sydney and her tiny babies and thankfully one of our super fosters took them in. These “mates” are all grown up now and ready for forever homes! Brisbane-Boy Has a Nub tail n more smooth coat. Double blue eyes. Very energetic, comes running to his foster mom when she calls. All the pups are very social and play with all of the other dogs. Brisbane loves, loves, loves playing in the water whether on the splash pad, chasing the water hose or in the puppy swimming pool! When he isn't in the water he is grabbing toys from inside the house and taking outside to run around the yard to see if any of the other dogs will chase him, Full of energy and love waiting for his furever home. My name is Fiona and I am a sweet bundle of energy! I am a very loyal companion who wants all your attention and absolutely love children! Although I sometimes have to be reminded not to jump I’m getting better at that. I am not a fan of cats when they run. It makes me want to chase them. I am more fond of women sometimes men can scare me at first, but once I get to know them and with a few treats I’ll be your best friend. I enjoy being around dogs. Except I don’t care for dogs with high energy like me. It makes me nervous. I really love to go on runs and I love my toys. I love chew toys. It feels good on my puppy teeth and I love stuffy toys. I do better in my crate after I’ve had plenty of exercise and if you have dogs at home meeting them first would make me feel better. I absolutely love water. My foster mom bought me my own kitty pool and it’s my favorite thing to do besides following around my foster mama. I’ve been living with two children, age two and seven and I love my foster kids. When I finally am awake I am a big cuddle bug. I like to give hugs and kisses if you let me, I am a big baby with a huge heart of gold! I’ve also got to spend time with some of my foster mom‘s dogs, and I do well with dogs who won’t make me feel intimidated I’ve not been around farm animals and since I want to chase foster mom’s kitties, she doesn’t think cats or farm animals are the best for me. A family with kids and maybe the right dog would be my perfect fit as I don’t like to be left alone for too long, but I do sleep at night now in my crate. It’s really big crate with plenty of space to not feel so isolated and my mom plays music for me and I love it. It helps soothe me when I am too excited. I’m not really bothered by thunderstorms or fireworks although I wouldn’t want to be taken to a firework show. I actually stay calm if I can hear them while inside. I love to talk/bark when I get excited my tail wags like crazy and I will do spins in circles to show you how cute and smart I am. I catch on pretty quickly to routines and overall just want to be around my people. I know my perfect home is out there and would love to meet you to see if you are the one. She came to Humane Tomorrow when she was only one week old, along with her Mom and nine littermates. She is now 10 weeks old and ready to be adopted! Maple was born without a front left paw, but foster mom says that doesn't slow her down much. She loves to toss her toys up in the air and catch them, and she enjoys running around the backyard. She gets along with the other dogs and the cat in her foster home. Maple is super sweet. She will follow foster mom around the house and take naps in her lap. She sleeps through the night in her crate and is working on potty training. If you are looking for a running or walking partner, she would love to ride along in a stroller! Before you fall in love and apply, please note that Fir will probably weigh around 70 pounds when full grown. Fir is one of our "tree themed" puppies. He came to Humane Tomorrow when he was only one week old, along with his Mom and nine littermates. He didn't even have his eyes open at that time! Fir is now nine weeks old and is a fluffy cutie with blue eyes. He loves playing with his littermates and our HT volunteers who come to care for him and play with him. His mom's photo is posted too. Fir and littermates are all weaned and ready to be adopted. They will be at Humane Tomorrow for an adoption event on Saturday 3/7 from 11am - 2 pm.
